So about the Nebby & bag lines, for most of the game when it's in the unevolved state Nebby is either in or being told to get in the bag of one of the players friends. As for Necrozma its whole thing is stealing light. It even absorbs the light of the other two to become stronger
This entire cypher has amazing verses. Especially when they get to gen gen two and play off multiple legends. Shawabdi did amazing but haztik really shined because the sheer power they brought. And Zach how he didn't go fast but not slow as how nearly invincible demigods would talk. Overall my new favourite cypher and your energy just gained another sub.

The deal with Necrozma is that it is literally based on a Black Hole, which literally eats light to a point where it becomes invisible to reality. And Ultra Necrozma (The "real" form) is based on a Supernova. Which is a overload of light

3 days later and there's tons of people taking my spot. Oh no...anyways. Back again to help and dive even deeper. Gen 1: - Top 5 Strongest In Gen 1 competitive, Mewtwo and Mew were the only ones banned from the scene and was considered the strongest mon in the game, at the time. Since then, Mewtwo has been a very high contender for strongest Uber in every generation simply because of it's stats, move pull, and utility. - I'm still going to rise If I'm not mistaken, Genesect was man-made as well from a fossil. And it one of the movies, Mewtwo go against a swarm of Genesects and wins (I believe. I haven't watched it). So since the beginning, as in the first movie, Mewtwo had always opposed anything man-made and will destroy it and show his power. Hence the "will rise" since Mewtwo will show off his power by destroying anything man-made, since we always try to improve with every step we take. - Sapphire eyes, telekinetic In both movies that Mewtwo was in, Mewtwo turns it's eyes blue to represent using the move Psychic and using it to fly As for what Mew technically is; they're a Mythical Pokemon. There is some aspects that makes a Pokemon a Mythical (exclusivity, stats, and 1 more thing). But here's a small list: Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Shaymin, Arceus , Victini, Genesect, Zeraora, Diancie, Volcanion, Hoopa, Magearna, Zarude, etc. Gen 2: - Silver/Golden Feathers Lugia and Ho-Oh, in order to summon them, needed their respective feathers in order for the ritual to take place. Lugia the Silver Feather, Ho-Oh the Golden one and they needed to be taken to specific places. For Ho-Oh, it was Ecruteak City in the tower which was accessed in one of the houses in the northern part of the city. Whereas Lugia was in Whirl Islands and battle your way down to the lowest floor, not needing a song or dance but just show it and Lugia will appear (had to look it up to make sure and apparently it only applies to Ho-Oh). - Pressure unmeasured Ho-Oh and Lugia, like most legendaries, had the Pressure ability before getting their hidden abilities much later into the series. And if you don't know what Pressure does, you probably hacked your games to get the Master Balls and not suffer. Shame Gen 3: - Kyogre name origin I was actually interested in this since you brought it up Kuro. So it turns out Kyogre as the root word Kai in it, which means Ocean. The -Ogre is there to refer to it's size because ogres. But it could've been left as Kaiō which means "King of the Sea". Interesting and I never knew that. - Sootopolis Yes, it's the city with the hole. But it's origin is that it was created by a meteor, which housed either Rayquaza or Deoxys (maybe even Jirachi for all I remember), and it soon became inhabited and turned into a city with the coming years. Hence the "Draco your city" and maybe even referencing that he'll gun down your entire block - Drought, Desolate Land Drought is Groudon's ability before Primal Reversion, which was introduced in ORAS. As for Primal Groudon, it's ability changes to Desolate Land. And here's what each ability does; Drought: Halves water moves, boosts fire moves by 50%, boosts healing from Morning Sun (1/3) and reduced Moonlight's healing (down to half or 1/3 of HP), and cuts Solarbeam's and Solar Blade's charge turn in half (immediate use). Desolate Land: NEGATES ALL water moves, and the other same effects as Drought. - Drizzle, Primordial Sea Like Groudon, Kyogre also has it's counterpart on the weather and involves rain. Same thing with Primal Kyogre. Drizzle: Halves fire moves, boosts water moves by 50%, makes moves like Hurricane never miss (as in, it'll always hit it's target regardless (like Swift)), boosts Moonlight's recover by 1/3 and reduced Morning Sun's healing to 1/3. Primordial Sea: Same thing as Primordial Land but NEGATES FIRE moves - Precipice Blades The signature move of Primal Groudon which hits both targets (in a doubles battle). It's stronger than EQ (Earthquake) but misses more often, 85% accurate. Gen 4: - Children of God Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina are Arceus's children. And as for their powers; Dialga: Controls time better than Shadow does. Signature move is Roar of Time. Palkia: Controls space. I couldn't find a suitable joke there. Signature Move is Spacial Rend. Giratina: Controls ANTIMATTER better than any scientist in anime and real life. Basically said fuck the laws of physics and science. Signature Move, Shadow Force. - Flip the script, Spacial Rend In Smash Bros, Palkia slashes the screen with Spacial Rend, which flips the screen upside down and fucks with you like the little shit it is. Anyways. Spacial Rend is also the signature move of Palkia as it travels through space to slash it opponent directly, seems cool. Gen 5: - Ice Burn It indeed is a move. It's the signature move of Kyurem White (Kyurem absorbing Reshiram), it takes 2 turns before it can attack. The unique thing about the move is that it has the chance to Burn instead of Freezing OR Burning. Odd. - Trios in the past, step aside Up until that point, in Gen 5. The legendary trios of every generation before then we're fighting for something. They were all SEPARATE entities. Gen 5 changed that in saying that the original dragon was a FUSION between Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem and everything was balanced. Until a meteor or something hit and split then apart hence why we only have 2 separate fusions and not the original dragon. - Yin Yang, Outrage If you didn't know about this, I have no words. And this goes for everyone reading. Anyways, Reshiram represents Truth and is Yang, hence it's fire powers. Zekrom represents Ideals and is the Yin, hence the thunder powers. Kyurem is in the middle and represents Wuji, the absence of Ideals and Truth, hence the ice powers and controls both the other elements to an extent. Outrage comes in because they're all dragons and they all learn Outrage, and yes it is a Dragon type move . Gen 6 - I'm a mercy to the world, die slow Yveltal, according to lore, is the being of destruction. Once it dies, EVERYTHING around it dies slowly as it turns into a cocoon. - Auras break Zygarde. The Pokemon of Order and took inspiration from Hindu gods. Aura Break is it's ability which negates the effects of Fairy Aura and Dark Aura from Xerneas and Yveltal respectively. What each Aura does is boost the moves of Fairy type attacks (Fairy Aura) and Dark type attacks (Dark Aura) respectively. Aside from that, no use and it's useless and overshadowed by Power Construct. -X'd out, wondering "Why?" Name flip for the XY titles. Probably the most basic one to make but still always good to hear. My favorite though has to be "Shofu so fly on the cover of that Y version" - Apocalypse nigh According to the Pokemon lore, there was a war that occured 3000 years ago between Pokemon and humans and was only stopped by 1 man, AZ, and his love for his Floette, a Flower Fairy Pokemon. So apocalypse could mean the rush and sudden news of a war breaking out. Side Note: As for the typings of the Pokemon; Xerneas is the deer, cover of X version, Fairy type Yveltal is the birb, cover of the Y version, Dark/Flying type Zygarde is the snek, no game title but is shaped like the letter Z, Dragon/Ground type. And as for the cocoons, they're the cocoon of life, death/destruction, and order respectively. Again, based off of Hinduism deities. - Playing my part in these natural disasters, titan has landed Zygarde has the responsibility to keep Xerneas and Yveltal in check to make sure neither dies to keep the balance in check. If one gets too powerful however, Zygarde has Power Construct. An ability that turns Zygarde 50% to Zygarde Complete form when Zygarde 50% hits half HP. In this form, it's absolutely busted and has some of the best stats I've been in my entire time playing competitive Pokemon. And "Titan lands" because it's a literal titan that touches down after it's upgrade and becoming 13' tall I think.
- Earth Reformation, Geomancy Geomancy is the signature move of Xernease, that made it absolutely busted and made all of us competitive players wonder why the fuck they allowed such a broken ass move exist in the game. Anyways, rant aside. It boosts the user's Special Defense, Special Attack, and Speed by 2 stages, essentially doubling it, and causing massive damage everywhere while outspeeding everything. As for the Earth Reformation, I tried googling Geomancy and the best I can describe it is this; It is essentially the study of transcribing lines and dots that are in the Earth. Think of it as, reading what someone put down by throwing dirt and rocks in a specific pattern. - World Tree After a little bit more research, it turns out the XY legendaries are also based off of Norse mythology in their design and how they play a role for each other while taking Hindu ideologies. Yveltal and Xerneas are on top of the world tree, in Yggdrasil, whereas Zygarde is in Niflheim, or underworld/underground, and took inspiration from Nidhogg, or the dragon who gnaws at the world tree (maybe just taking that dragon form). In the games, you find Zygarde UNDERGROUND in a cave system by itself. I could be wrong, since I believe that it takes more inspiration from Hindu mythology/ideologies better opposing to Norse. - Rain Destruction from top Thousand Arrows is a signature move for Zygarde, it's a GROUND type move that HITS FLYING TYPES and makes them grounded and trapped for the entirety of Zygarde staying in. Taking the Norse mythology World Tree from before, it could mean that, despite being in the deepest parts of the universe, the attack will still hit and bring everyone down with him, keeping them trapped with him for eternity. - Ash gives life to the new "We" Zygarde is made up of cells. Yes, cells. As in, our blood cells. And Zygarde Complete is 100 of those cells together. The birth of these little shits are all over the world and are just born, like how a tree does when growing. Not only that, ashes from certain plants help the growth of trees and plants overall, hence the cells throwing faster and the "We" since it's a cluster coming together to make a singularity. Hope that made sense. - Land's Wrath, new Phoenix Land's Wrath is another signature move for Zygarde and is weaker than EQ, don't run it. As for the New Phoenix line, seeing that Yveltal is in the AMV when that is shown; it could mean that upon using the move, it awoke something inside of Yveltal to wake up and finally be part of the story, for maybe 20 seconds. And Yveltal awakening is something like a Phoenix, despite going down and taking everything down with it, it will rise again only to keep that cycle going indefinitely. - Soul, Oblivion, Wingless This right here is fucking amazing from Haztik. First, Core Destroyer is ANOTHER signature move for Zygarde which ignores abilities and deals damage, dragon type move. But also looks amazing and could also be a gun bar, hence the "Soul fly above". Doubtful since Yveltal takes lives as it turns into a cocoon in the air before dropping down to Earth, where Zygarde resides. So when Yveltal dies and takes the souls of everything with it in the sky, it could be referring to that. As for the Oblivion's Wingless. Yveltal s signature move is Oblivion Wing, a flying type move that deals damage and heals Yveltal for 75% of the damage dealt. Weak in comparison since it has 80 Base Power, and Yveltal is a little more of a physical attacker, but it's good nonetheless. Gen 7 - Sons, Radiant Phase Gun bar. Off the rip. Anyways, Radiant Sun Phase Solgaleo is an artwork made by Pokemon themselves. That's all the reference is. - Galileo find with naked eye Galileo, for those who don't remember, was a famous astronomer, among other things, and describing him here is basically saying, "Hey look at that. It's new" with no equipment needed. I think since I'm getting a headache after typing so much. - Solgaleo, Steel to your mind Solgaleo is a Steel/Psychic type Pokemon. So the flip here is amazing since it also a gun reference. Putting the steel (gun) to your mind (head) but also meaning, Solgaleo is a Steel/Psychic type Pokemon since his head has the cosmos in it. It's encased in steel. - Sunsetted, Greetings in due time, Batman, Moon Knight This is a wild guess but here's what I think. Any event taking place usually happens in the sunset, or starts at sunset, hence why the greetings come later or in due time. But there's also the Batman reference which is obvious. What isn't so obvious, however, is that Dawn Wings Necrozma somewhat resembles Batman due to the design, I guess. Also how Lunala is the moon Pokemon and moons only come out after the sun sets, hence the previous mention and line. But also the way how Mat4Yo pronounced that last line, he made Moon Knight sound like Moonlight, which is what Lunala's signature move is (more about that in a bit). With that in mind Batman, for the most part, is out during the night to stop criminals, or once the sun sets (get where that Sunsetted/greetings line came from?). With that, Moongeist Beam is Lunala's signature move that is like firing a beam of Moonlight to the opponent that hurts, since it is reflected sunlight basically. It's a web of references that I love and hope everyone understood. - Too bright when I loot light Yes. Necrozma absorbs light from all sources and turns into Ultra Necrozma, going through Dusk Mane/Dawn Wings Necrozma first before doing so with the help of a Z Crystal. There's also a city when first encountering Necrozma in USUM since it absorbed all the light from that city to try and grow into Ultra Necrozma. - Nebby, Bag A meme going around for a little while about a Cosmog, named Nebby by Lillie in the games, always escaping the bag and never being inside of it since it evolves into one of the 2 legendaries. Gen 8 - Put wings on him Kill the dude multiple ways. Either beat him down with metal (brass knuckles (or shield in this case because Zamazenta)) or stab him (Zacian). - Shield up Zamazenta, shield. Obvious since it means to keep your guard up or raise your defense higher to take less damage - Dust off a Draco Zacian is part fairy type so it isn't affected by Draco Meteor, a dragon type move. Zamazenta is a literal wall of a Pokemon that tanks quite a bit and deals damage back, and being part steel, it resists Draco Meteor. But also Kevlar is a metal that resists bullets, hence the Draco reference and typical Ty Wild gun bar. - Lil Rust, Brang Steel Aside from the pure metals (gold, silver, platinum) not rusting, it could be a references how even with a minimal amount of rust, Ty wouldn't hesitate to beat you down/gun you down. He's still bringing that 40 - Crown Zacian and Zamazenta are considered kings, if I'm not mistaken, of the region since they protected the region from Eternatus and G-Max Eternatus. Also because Swords and Shield are often correlated to royalty and royalty includes Crowns. And "Aim up at your crown" is a way of saying, I'm aiming for the brain/head; since the rims of the crown rest around the forehead and head, around the frontal cortex and can cause serious damage to a person if that is damaged. Side note: As for gun Pokemon. There's a few, 1 was already pointed out. And that Mon is Remoraid. It's design looks eeriely similar to a gun, down to the Pokedex number. The only reason I know this is because if CTC's verse in the 2019 Pokemon Cypher by Shofu. Octillery is based off a SNIPER, not tank as other said, due to the mouth also resembling the barrel of a sniper as it's supported by it's abilities, one of which is literally called Sniper. - Arms out of the sky G-Max Eternatus reference. That's all it is. It's a literal fucking hand with a snek body as an arm that's coming out of the sky. - Keep one .45 with a beam Zapdos references as Zapdos is the 145th Pokemon in the Pokedex. Only reason I know this is because if Shizzy and Shofu making references to this mon countless times and even on the 2013 Pokemon Cypher: "Keep that 145 got that Zapdos" I think is what Shizzy said. Also, gun bar because it's Ty Wild. - Knock wind, Dragon, Toxic Eternatus is a Dragon/Poison type Pokemon, being one of the few dragons to be affected by ground type attacks, much less weak to it. Also referencing how Eternatus loses the flying typing for the unique Dragon/Poison type instead, which is shit. But also a ONE PIECE reference seeing how Magellan is the poison devil fruit user, I had to look that up since it seemed important. Oh and Toxic is a status move in Pokemon. - Cannon, Big Bad fall off Eternatus signature move is Dynamic Cannon and it deals dragon type damage and deals even MORE DAMAGE to a Pokemon who is dynamaxed. Hence the "Big Bad falling off" line. Also because Zacian and Zamazenta have their own respective moves, Behemoth Blade/Behemoth Bash respectively, for dynamax Pokemon as well. - Rose, Darkest day, Red flash Rose was the main antagonist in SwSh and his while plan was to destroy the region as he summoned Eternatus. I didn't read the dialogue well so there are plenty of holes with what I said. But basically, the entire sky turned red in a flash because Rose bitch ass wanted to end the world, bringing the darkest days. - Dynamax, Behemoth, Deadman As i said earlier, the dogs have Behemoth moves that deal extra damage to Dynamaxed Pokemon, leaving them dead/fainted. But also how D-max Pokemon grow bigger in size due to the energy coursing through them, hence the "dynamax, high as sky where they head at" bar, and it could also mean that his opposition is high as FUCK by challenging him. Being so high that Ty's opponent is on Cloud 9 thinking they could be Ty. The secondary reference to Ty's Behemoth, Deadman line there is probably how Ty isn't afraid to kill someone to prove his point in how strong he is, like how the dogs do against Dynamax Pokemon.

The deal with Necrozma is that it is literally based on a Black Hole, which literally eats light to a point where it becomes invisible to reality. And Ultra Necrozma (The "real" form) is based on a Supernova. Which is a overload of light

Gen 1:
- Top 5 Strongest
In Gen 1 competitive, Mewtwo and Mew were the only ones banned from the scene and was considered the strongest mon in the game, at the time. Since then, Mewtwo has been a very high contender for strongest Uber in every generation simply because of it's stats, move pull, and utility.
- I'm still going to rise
If I'm not mistaken, Genesect was man-made as well from a fossil. And it one of the movies, Mewtwo go against a swarm of Genesects and wins (I believe. I haven't watched it). So since the beginning, as in the first movie, Mewtwo had always opposed anything man-made and will destroy it and show his power. Hence the "will rise" since Mewtwo will show off his power by destroying anything man-made, since we always try to improve with every step we take.
- Sapphire eyes, telekinetic
In both movies that Mewtwo was in, Mewtwo turns it's eyes blue to represent using the move Psychic and using it to fly
As for what Mew technically is; they're a Mythical Pokemon. There is some aspects that makes a Pokemon a Mythical (exclusivity, stats, and 1 more thing). But here's a small list: Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Shaymin, Arceus , Victini, Genesect, Zeraora, Diancie, Volcanion, Hoopa, Magearna, Zarude, etc.
Gen 2:
- Silver/Golden Feathers
Lugia and Ho-Oh, in order to summon them, needed their respective feathers in order for the ritual to take place. Lugia the Silver Feather, Ho-Oh the Golden one and they needed to be taken to specific places. For Ho-Oh, it was Ecruteak City in the tower which was accessed in one of the houses in the northern part of the city. Whereas Lugia was in Whirl Islands and battle your way down to the lowest floor, not needing a song or dance but just show it and Lugia will appear (had to look it up to make sure and apparently it only applies to Ho-Oh).
- Pressure unmeasured
Ho-Oh and Lugia, like most legendaries, had the Pressure ability before getting their hidden abilities much later into the series. And if you don't know what Pressure does, you probably hacked your games to get the Master Balls and not suffer. Shame
Gen 3:
- Kyogre name origin
I was actually interested in this since you brought it up Kuro. So it turns out Kyogre as the root word Kai in it, which means Ocean. The -Ogre is there to refer to it's size because ogres. But it could've been left as Kaiō which means "King of the Sea". Interesting and I never knew that.
- Sootopolis
Yes, it's the city with the hole. But it's origin is that it was created by a meteor, which housed either Rayquaza or Deoxys (maybe even Jirachi for all I remember), and it soon became inhabited and turned into a city with the coming years. Hence the "Draco your city" and maybe even referencing that he'll gun down your entire block
- Drought, Desolate Land
Drought is Groudon's ability before Primal Reversion, which was introduced in ORAS. As for Primal Groudon, it's ability changes to Desolate Land. And here's what each ability does;
Drought: Halves water moves, boosts fire moves by 50%, boosts healing from Morning Sun (1/3) and reduced Moonlight's healing (down to half or 1/3 of HP), and cuts Solarbeam's and Solar Blade's charge turn in half (immediate use).
Desolate Land: NEGATES ALL water moves, and the other same effects as Drought.
- Drizzle, Primordial Sea
Like Groudon, Kyogre also has it's counterpart on the weather and involves rain. Same thing with Primal Kyogre.
Drizzle: Halves fire moves, boosts water moves by 50%, makes moves like Hurricane never miss (as in, it'll always hit it's target regardless (like Swift)), boosts Moonlight's recover by 1/3 and reduced Morning Sun's healing to 1/3.
Primordial Sea: Same thing as Primordial Land but NEGATES FIRE moves
- Precipice Blades
The signature move of Primal Groudon which hits both targets (in a doubles battle). It's stronger than EQ (Earthquake) but misses more often, 85% accurate.
Gen 4:
- Children of God
Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina are Arceus's children. And as for their powers;
Dialga: Controls time better than Shadow does. Signature move is Roar of Time.
Palkia: Controls space. I couldn't find a suitable joke there. Signature Move is Spacial Rend.
Giratina: Controls ANTIMATTER better than any scientist in anime and real life. Basically said fuck the laws of physics and science. Signature Move, Shadow Force.
- Flip the script, Spacial Rend
In Smash Bros, Palkia slashes the screen with Spacial Rend, which flips the screen upside down and fucks with you like the little shit it is. Anyways. Spacial Rend is also the signature move of Palkia as it travels through space to slash it opponent directly, seems cool.
Gen 5:
- Ice Burn
It indeed is a move. It's the signature move of Kyurem White (Kyurem absorbing Reshiram), it takes 2 turns before it can attack. The unique thing about the move is that it has the chance to Burn instead of Freezing OR Burning. Odd.
- Trios in the past, step aside
Up until that point, in Gen 5. The legendary trios of every generation before then we're fighting for something. They were all SEPARATE entities. Gen 5 changed that in saying that the original dragon was a FUSION between Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem and everything was balanced. Until a meteor or something hit and split then apart hence why we only have 2 separate fusions and not the original dragon.
- Yin Yang, Outrage
If you didn't know about this, I have no words. And this goes for everyone reading. Anyways, Reshiram represents Truth and is Yang, hence it's fire powers. Zekrom represents Ideals and is the Yin, hence the thunder powers. Kyurem is in the middle and represents Wuji, the absence of Ideals and Truth, hence the ice powers and controls both the other elements to an extent.
Outrage comes in because they're all dragons and they all learn Outrage, and yes it is a Dragon type move .
Gen 6
- I'm a mercy to the world, die slow
Yveltal, according to lore, is the being of destruction. Once it dies, EVERYTHING around it dies slowly as it turns into a cocoon.
- Auras break
Zygarde. The Pokemon of Order and took inspiration from Hindu gods. Aura Break is it's ability which negates the effects of Fairy Aura and Dark Aura from Xerneas and Yveltal respectively. What each Aura does is boost the moves of Fairy type attacks (Fairy Aura) and Dark type attacks (Dark Aura) respectively. Aside from that, no use and it's useless and overshadowed by Power Construct.
-X'd out, wondering "Why?"
Name flip for the XY titles. Probably the most basic one to make but still always good to hear. My favorite though has to be "Shofu so fly on the cover of that Y version"
- Apocalypse nigh
According to the Pokemon lore, there was a war that occured 3000 years ago between Pokemon and humans and was only stopped by 1 man, AZ, and his love for his Floette, a Flower Fairy Pokemon. So apocalypse could mean the rush and sudden news of a war breaking out.
Side Note: As for the typings of the Pokemon;
Xerneas is the deer, cover of X version, Fairy type
Yveltal is the birb, cover of the Y version, Dark/Flying type
Zygarde is the snek, no game title but is shaped like the letter Z, Dragon/Ground type.
And as for the cocoons, they're the cocoon of life, death/destruction, and order respectively. Again, based off of Hinduism deities.
- Playing my part in these natural disasters, titan has landed
Zygarde has the responsibility to keep Xerneas and Yveltal in check to make sure neither dies to keep the balance in check. If one gets too powerful however, Zygarde has Power Construct. An ability that turns Zygarde 50% to Zygarde Complete form when Zygarde 50% hits half HP. In this form, it's absolutely busted and has some of the best stats I've been in my entire time playing competitive Pokemon. And "Titan lands" because it's a literal titan that touches down after it's upgrade and becoming 13' tall I think.
OCEAN DEEP BREAKDOWN! LETS GOOO!

- Earth Reformation, Geomancy
Geomancy is the signature move of Xernease, that made it absolutely busted and made all of us competitive players wonder why the fuck they allowed such a broken ass move exist in the game. Anyways, rant aside. It boosts the user's Special Defense, Special Attack, and Speed by 2 stages, essentially doubling it, and causing massive damage everywhere while outspeeding everything. As for the Earth Reformation, I tried googling Geomancy and the best I can describe it is this; It is essentially the study of transcribing lines and dots that are in the Earth. Think of it as, reading what someone put down by throwing dirt and rocks in a specific pattern.
- World Tree
After a little bit more research, it turns out the XY legendaries are also based off of Norse mythology in their design and how they play a role for each other while taking Hindu ideologies. Yveltal and Xerneas are on top of the world tree, in Yggdrasil, whereas Zygarde is in Niflheim, or underworld/underground, and took inspiration from Nidhogg, or the dragon who gnaws at the world tree (maybe just taking that dragon form). In the games, you find Zygarde UNDERGROUND in a cave system by itself. I could be wrong, since I believe that it takes more inspiration from Hindu mythology/ideologies better opposing to Norse.
- Rain Destruction from top
Thousand Arrows is a signature move for Zygarde, it's a GROUND type move that HITS FLYING TYPES and makes them grounded and trapped for the entirety of Zygarde staying in. Taking the Norse mythology World Tree from before, it could mean that, despite being in the deepest parts of the universe, the attack will still hit and bring everyone down with him, keeping them trapped with him for eternity.
- Ash gives life to the new "We"
Zygarde is made up of cells. Yes, cells. As in, our blood cells. And Zygarde Complete is 100 of those cells together. The birth of these little shits are all over the world and are just born, like how a tree does when growing. Not only that, ashes from certain plants help the growth of trees and plants overall, hence the cells throwing faster and the "We" since it's a cluster coming together to make a singularity. Hope that made sense.
- Land's Wrath, new Phoenix
Land's Wrath is another signature move for Zygarde and is weaker than EQ, don't run it. As for the New Phoenix line, seeing that Yveltal is in the AMV when that is shown; it could mean that upon using the move, it awoke something inside of Yveltal to wake up and finally be part of the story, for maybe 20 seconds. And Yveltal awakening is something like a Phoenix, despite going down and taking everything down with it, it will rise again only to keep that cycle going indefinitely.
- Soul, Oblivion, Wingless
This right here is fucking amazing from Haztik. First, Core Destroyer is ANOTHER signature move for Zygarde which ignores abilities and deals damage, dragon type move. But also looks amazing and could also be a gun bar, hence the "Soul fly above". Doubtful since Yveltal takes lives as it turns into a cocoon in the air before dropping down to Earth, where Zygarde resides. So when Yveltal dies and takes the souls of everything with it in the sky, it could be referring to that.
As for the Oblivion's Wingless. Yveltal s signature move is Oblivion Wing, a flying type move that deals damage and heals Yveltal for 75% of the damage dealt. Weak in comparison since it has 80 Base Power, and Yveltal is a little more of a physical attacker, but it's good nonetheless.
Gen 7
- Sons, Radiant Phase
Gun bar. Off the rip. Anyways, Radiant Sun Phase Solgaleo is an artwork made by Pokemon themselves. That's all the reference is.
- Galileo find with naked eye
Galileo, for those who don't remember, was a famous astronomer, among other things, and describing him here is basically saying, "Hey look at that. It's new" with no equipment needed. I think since I'm getting a headache after typing so much.
- Solgaleo, Steel to your mind
Solgaleo is a Steel/Psychic type Pokemon. So the flip here is amazing since it also a gun reference. Putting the steel (gun) to your mind (head) but also meaning, Solgaleo is a Steel/Psychic type Pokemon since his head has the cosmos in it. It's encased in steel.
- Sunsetted, Greetings in due time, Batman, Moon Knight
This is a wild guess but here's what I think. Any event taking place usually happens in the sunset, or starts at sunset, hence why the greetings come later or in due time. But there's also the Batman reference which is obvious. What isn't so obvious, however, is that Dawn Wings Necrozma somewhat resembles Batman due to the design, I guess. Also how Lunala is the moon Pokemon and moons only come out after the sun sets, hence the previous mention and line. But also the way how Mat4Yo pronounced that last line, he made Moon Knight sound like Moonlight, which is what Lunala's signature move is (more about that in a bit).
With that in mind Batman, for the most part, is out during the night to stop criminals, or once the sun sets (get where that Sunsetted/greetings line came from?). With that, Moongeist Beam is Lunala's signature move that is like firing a beam of Moonlight to the opponent that hurts, since it is reflected sunlight basically. It's a web of references that I love and hope everyone understood.
- Too bright when I loot light
Yes. Necrozma absorbs light from all sources and turns into Ultra Necrozma, going through Dusk Mane/Dawn Wings Necrozma first before doing so with the help of a Z Crystal. There's also a city when first encountering Necrozma in USUM since it absorbed all the light from that city to try and grow into Ultra Necrozma.
- Nebby, Bag
A meme going around for a little while about a Cosmog, named Nebby by Lillie in the games, always escaping the bag and never being inside of it since it evolves into one of the 2 legendaries.
Gen 8
- Put wings on him
Kill the dude multiple ways. Either beat him down with metal (brass knuckles (or shield in this case because Zamazenta)) or stab him (Zacian).
- Shield up
Zamazenta, shield. Obvious since it means to keep your guard up or raise your defense higher to take less damage
- Dust off a Draco
Zacian is part fairy type so it isn't affected by Draco Meteor, a dragon type move. Zamazenta is a literal wall of a Pokemon that tanks quite a bit and deals damage back, and being part steel, it resists Draco Meteor. But also Kevlar is a metal that resists bullets, hence the Draco reference and typical Ty Wild gun bar.
- Lil Rust, Brang Steel
Aside from the pure metals (gold, silver, platinum) not rusting, it could be a references how even with a minimal amount of rust, Ty wouldn't hesitate to beat you down/gun you down. He's still bringing that 40
- Crown
Zacian and Zamazenta are considered kings, if I'm not mistaken, of the region since they protected the region from Eternatus and G-Max Eternatus. Also because Swords and Shield are often correlated to royalty and royalty includes Crowns. And "Aim up at your crown" is a way of saying, I'm aiming for the brain/head; since the rims of the crown rest around the forehead and head, around the frontal cortex and can cause serious damage to a person if that is damaged.
Side note: As for gun Pokemon. There's a few, 1 was already pointed out. And that Mon is Remoraid. It's design looks eeriely similar to a gun, down to the Pokedex number. The only reason I know this is because if CTC's verse in the 2019 Pokemon Cypher by Shofu. Octillery is based off a SNIPER, not tank as other said, due to the mouth also resembling the barrel of a sniper as it's supported by it's abilities, one of which is literally called Sniper.
- Arms out of the sky
G-Max Eternatus reference. That's all it is. It's a literal fucking hand with a snek body as an arm that's coming out of the sky.
- Keep one .45 with a beam
Zapdos references as Zapdos is the 145th Pokemon in the Pokedex. Only reason I know this is because if Shizzy and Shofu making references to this mon countless times and even on the 2013 Pokemon Cypher: "Keep that 145 got that Zapdos" I think is what Shizzy said. Also, gun bar because it's Ty Wild.
- Knock wind, Dragon, Toxic
Eternatus is a Dragon/Poison type Pokemon, being one of the few dragons to be affected by ground type attacks, much less weak to it. Also referencing how Eternatus loses the flying typing for the unique Dragon/Poison type instead, which is shit. But also a ONE PIECE reference seeing how Magellan is the poison devil fruit user, I had to look that up since it seemed important. Oh and Toxic is a status move in Pokemon.
- Cannon, Big Bad fall off
Eternatus signature move is Dynamic Cannon and it deals dragon type damage and deals even MORE DAMAGE to a Pokemon who is dynamaxed. Hence the "Big Bad falling off" line. Also because Zacian and Zamazenta have their own respective moves, Behemoth Blade/Behemoth Bash respectively, for dynamax Pokemon as well.
- Rose, Darkest day, Red flash
Rose was the main antagonist in SwSh and his while plan was to destroy the region as he summoned Eternatus. I didn't read the dialogue well so there are plenty of holes with what I said. But basically, the entire sky turned red in a flash because Rose bitch ass wanted to end the world, bringing the darkest days.
- Dynamax, Behemoth, Deadman
As i said earlier, the dogs have Behemoth moves that deal extra damage to Dynamaxed Pokemon, leaving them dead/fainted. But also how D-max Pokemon grow bigger in size due to the energy coursing through them, hence the "dynamax, high as sky where they head at" bar, and it could also mean that his opposition is high as FUCK by challenging him. Being so high that Ty's opponent is on Cloud 9 thinking they could be Ty. The secondary reference to Ty's Behemoth, Deadman line there is probably how Ty isn't afraid to kill someone to prove his point in how strong he is, like how the dogs do against Dynamax Pokemon.
And with that Kuro, after 2 and a half hours of typing, researching, and listening, it is done. That is my full breakdown of this cypher for you man. Hope everything made sense. And if not, let me know and I'll break it down further.
