The impact was hard enough to break a motor mount. The marshals at turn 1 and everyone that witnessed the incident said the Firebird was so far back yet I got blamed for the incident!! The driver that even hit me said I should look over my shoulder next time. Also the same guy that spun at the start. Yup, I'm a shitty driver!
I 100% know that you have ZERO medical training when it comes to short/long-term consequences of impacts like this. watch it again and look at how much shock travels from the passenger side and through his body like a ragdoll at a violent speed. Even with his solid safety setup, there will be lasting effects.
