Team of volunteers and students help to build a kraal system

Over two mornings our team of volunteers and gap year students built a kraal system at one of the breeding centres where the buffalo will go to drink and at the same time be treated with a tick removing chemical. As the animals enter the system they will step on a pressure pad which will produce a spray at their body height which help to control ticks they pick up on the reserve. Buffalo are a valuable commodity and these particular buffalo are all TB free so their health and well being is of utmost importance. The volunteers did a great job and as you can see enjoyed acting like the buffalo on completion! Thanks all who helped.
