- Maize grass, or corn grass, can be used as an alternative feed for livestock. Here in Indonesia, cows and goats are often given this feed. Muscovy ducks, ducks, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, can also be fed corn grass or maize grass. Some farmers process it and mix it with other feed ingredients, so that it can be stored for a long time for supplies. Some directly give this maize grass feed to cows or Muscovy ducks by chopping it until it is crushed with a chopping machine.
Of course, lovebirds can also eat maize grass leaves (corn grass), lovebirds like to nibble on leaves or grass, including this maize grass. If the corn grass is still around 7 days old, then lovebirds can nibble on all parts of it, and eat it of course. Lovebirds like grass or leaves like this, for some reason it is interesting to them.
In this second part of the video, the corn grass looks longer and taller than the previous video. The lovebirds can be seen exploring the middle of this small corn field.
Hi from Maine. Twiddles is still loving your videos and talks to the birds all day. He is the last of the 13 birds we had, and the only one that was not a rescue. He will be 22 on April 15, 2025. Except for some problems flying, he is as healthy as he was the day he was born. Thanks for all the great videos, I like to go into the playlist I made for him and add a new one so when I turn them on for him first thing in the morning, he has new birds to talk to. He gets all excited and hops around and chirps with excitement at me. He is so precious.
Woooow.. 22 is amazing. Hope you guys stay healthy and happy always.
