Wayne, followed you from day one mate, love your stuff. If im not mistaken, youre originally from Shrewsbury but now an adopted scouser? Love the fact youve stuck with this, like everyone, just wish theyd get it finished!! Keep up the great work mate❤
Shropshire born and bred deffo but always loved Liverpool from such a young age, was always traveling here and aways when going to all the games, met my other half under the paisley gates and settled in Liverpool quite a few years ago and deffo feels like home where I was destined to be and yes I'm treated like one of their own, proud to be an adopted scouser ☺️👍
Hopefully those boys will fix those stones up to the level the people who paid for them deserve. Hope you're keeping well Wayne. Keep up the good work.
Its not going to be the same Greybeard whenever your updates on this project come to fruition but it's been fantastic watching everything that you've posted and the dedication that you've shown to us Liverpool fans is needless to none 👍🏻 cheers and hopefully your health is getting better YNWA!!
Thank you so much, really appreciated, yeah the door closes soon on Anfield Road Expansion but another door will open. I always be around the ground doing many projects and more - thanks for great support 👍 my health is not bad at the moment - YnWa
Nice one Wayne , great update 👍🌟👌🏻My Forever Stone is in the Gerard Houllier section. YNWA. A nice win against the Blues of Chelsea on Sunday would be nice, good luck Boys 👍🌟👌🏻💫 YNWA Sparky 🍻🍻
Thanks, Wayne, for the update . I to had a letter about the stones I suppose they will change ones folks complained about ours aren't the best but I've not complained they are in the Houillier area also. Take care Sunday very rough weather heading in xx
Don't get all the complaints. Yes, it should have been finished, but it nearly is, and what does it really matter if the window sills aren't done yet? lol. I think the 2 new stands look fantastic, especially from inside the stadium.
I think that pretty much 90 % of the forever stones need some form of restoration work done on them they are ina very ppor condition given their age and are anything bit Forever stones . I haveca stone in the McKenna section, my cousin has one in the Fagan section but we have had mo notification of either of them being restored/ replaced . I dont consider mu own stone or my cousins to be of the standard and conditioning i had hoped in particularcmy cousins stone is in my view very much in need of some sort of restoration .
Sounds like it's going to e rest of October but wasn't that may crosses marked on Stones so will deffo keep an eye on what's going on as I've you say alot more deffo need restoration
Question.. why is there still red cladding on the hospitality section? Is that not going to be glass except the part behind the away section so that ppl can see the game 😂
@billymurphy1644 no you got it right, The away section was always going to be cladding but the home end was always going to be glass what looked out onto the pitch. It looks like they've covered the windows in a red film, not sure why.
@@rosse6705 ruclips.net/video/wymZ_vmHmXg/видео.htmlsi=hWFboHXQRgw8nCYe this is where I got it from. So yea you’re right, it would seem that part of it should be glass. That would be better I feel
@billymurphy1644 It is glass mate I watched them install it in the hospitality section in the home end with doors coming out to the disabled bit. But it was meant to be left clear and for some reason they've covered it in a red tint or film. The away end isn't glass that's a red cladding.
Can someone pls tel me why we had 60277 attendance against Chelsea with away fan segregation and the capacity is 61267 .. wares the other 1000 seats ?????🤔🤔🤔 bit of a joke really
Great video as always, shocking work by Buckingham yet again when people have paid good money for the stones and so disrespectful to those who have sadly passed and have a stone in their memory
Went yesterday and from my seat I can see most of the Anfield Road stand. Nothing looks like it needs doing under the roof just that little bit in the right as you look from the Kop.
I have to admit I'm very underwhelmed by the Annie rd expansion...the brickwork looks terrible in parts ( I'm an ex brickie ) and tbh I think in 20 years it will look outdated....!!! Ynwa
Thank you so much, yes not the best brick work unfortunately and jet washing down only did so much it cleaning it up but you can clearly see it's not same as main stand as standards on this stand was deffo not the same - YnWa
Just to add to the comment I am also a brickie from 1983 and still .!!! … main stand looks fine .. but the Annie road brickwork looks awful …jet washing will not help it now .. facilities inside look very good and view from Kop end looks great … don’t think it looks out of date at all …. but finishing standards to say the least late v poor … again brickwork … well .. I would have sacked the brickys and contractor … just saying … I’m a Red since 1974 …. Yes just about makes me a SHANKLY BOY …LFC 74
@@Steve81-f5q shanks boy myself bud....mearly my thoughts on the design of the expansion....but I'd never have wanted us to leave Anfield so there's only so much you could have done I guess....! I actually sit in the SKD and have done so for many many years....the facilities are shocking...there's no space and the HT facilities are championship standard at best...!! Anyway I'll stop moaning...!!!! Hoping for a big atmosphere Sunday and a good performance from the reds...ps great vid as usual !!! Ynwa
Yes mate I’ve never sat in the SKD .. I only remember it as the ..KEMLYN .. first game at Anfield 1980 .. apparently ..KEMLYN ROAD KNEE CAP … yeah come on boys boom that noise out at smash Chelsea …🤛🤛🤛🤛

Because it was part of the original plans so the red cladding was meant to be there 👍

Consequences of our 'ownership' going for the cheapest option. Will the owners of LFC ever learn.?
Why don't LFC get rid of the current shop and build a new one the corner of the 2 main stands corner section?
Shankly gates look out of place for me, they dont match up with the bollards

I know mate vvv strange … a thousand tickets and I would love one of them ..wish the club would answer if nobody else can

In 20 years I think we'll be in a new STADIUM, they can't extend the KOP & they'd have to buy all the houses behind the SKD stand to extend their,😮
