I'm from Swansea and first watched it in Amsterdam with my Dutch girlfriend, she said 'I couldn't really understand what they were saying but I understand why you are how you are'. Awesome film.
Fckn superb film, as a Scot who was married to a lovely Llanelli lass I absolutely loved it & do to this day. One of the finest films of my life & at 62 in June I've fckn seen a few on the box & at the Pictures. 🏴🏴💙❤️🙏🏻✊🏻
its inspired (director frantically attempted to imitate Trainspotting) = but this was utter shite. Its just terrible. I saw it at the time and was reminded browing around on here.
Lol a few years ago I heard a man put down this film saying it was affecting the younger people lmao 🤣 it's 100% Swansea and the kind of comedy of Wales as I know it
FUCKING CLASSIC FILM, THE WHOLE, IS CLASS NOT ONE BAD SCENE, WISH THERE WAS MORE FILMS OF THIS TYPE INSTEAD OF THE SHITE THAT KEEPS GETTING CHURNED OUT.....
I had dinner with the cast when Gramercy was releasing TT in U.S. Been a Rhys fan ever since. I was Sr. VP of creative advertsing -- trailers, posters, etc. He was charming!
A lot of comments about the interviewer with the assumption he is talking about English audience, when if you listen they are promoting in the States and the questions are about a US audience. This is why the promo used for the US has the twins telling the audience that there are three Swanseas in America, but our Swansea is in Wales...
By the end you can defiantly hear the interviewer unconsciously put a very slight Welsh accent on. It's a strange thing thats actually very common. English people doing you'r accent back at you.
I have to stop myself when speaking with other accents and even languages, funny thou that brummie twang is that annoying it never happens when speaking with them
only the soft english would find it difficult to understand as a glesweeegian i can understand it no problem , hoooz boots are those shoes man , and there it was my bike , GONE ,HH
Twin Town-criminally underrated film,deserved Oscars!!!
Definitely not underrated, wherever I work in the UK people have seen it and say it’s quality.

Never get. bored of watching a real classic, has to be one of the most quoted scripts ever !
Absolute legend of a film....
Still awaiting a sequel
Loved that film watched when first hit video stores in my area .....i had a nack for finding gems and my friends loved it .
comparisons abound, but this film has aged so much better than trainspotting
That was back in 1997, now it's 2021 and things haven't changed...... yet!! #Annibyniaeth 🏴
2 Welsh legends, classic movie 👍
This glue is for my submarines, not for putting up your nose, and don’t think I don’t notice because I do. Buy your own fuckin glue!
"Get yer own fucking glue!"
Twin Town is still better than many movies from the 90s to today.. Such a shame it hasn't been shown on the big screen.. It is awesome.

@@gingerindian1141 its a bit of a stretch to say its an attempted imitation of trainspotting. the story isnt similar at all really
@@gingerindian1141not remotely similar. It has a 90s feel that's it
I actually watched the shooting of the final scene on Mumbles Pier. Was on a Sunday night. I remember it well
Was that the choire singing old myfwany as the twins escape on the boat.
Terry went down with the jelly fish, plop! Good night fucking Irine 😴

As Gogs they pulled the Swansea towney accent off perfectly!!
Loved this film so much! Why it never got the press it deserved I'll never know
Portrayal of the police as completely corrupt did not sit well with 1990s government and all the swearing and violence😂
One of the best british films of the 90s. Fiat Uno... Nicole, Papa!!! 🤣
