Getting connected to a character over the period of 11 years to see him die hurt so much.
@@cmspeckt Same! Spidey will always be my favorite Marvel character. But, RDJ redefined the character, conveying his snarkyness similar to Ultimate Stark. To me, he is Tony Stark. That makes him so likeable and my favorite in the MCU (with Spidey as number two). That scene with him confronting Peter Parker in Civil War was so heartwarming, despite his sharp comebacks. Or the time he called out Starlord over his comment that he was from Missouri in IW. I felt my heart drop when I saw dying. Also yes, I was Team Iron Man. That movie is part of the reason why I dislike MCU Captain America.
I cannot believe they defeated Thanos so easily. Hulk annoucing his love to Thanos and marrying him was definitely the biggest surprise that nobody expected. No wonder he was so shy in IW.
About the Steve Hydra thing, I think they fixed it when Steve fought himself. Past Steve states into his COM unit, "I found Loki, he has the specter." Hydra would just go, "Oh, that was Loki disgused as Steve. So he might not be with us."
If you think about it, Natasha was the only character with some sort of connection to every other character. She wasn't the most open character at the beginning, but she ended up being everyone's friend.
24:00 the time travel thing is answered. The quantum realm's time isn't stable, you could be stuck and age normally, or you could age slower or faster. It's in Antman and the Wasp and Scott mentions it later in the film
There was an interview with the Russos that said the time travel stuff was basically an alternate universe. They could've just said "Screw, who cares if we mess up this timeline" but they tried to keep it intact as much as possible(Thanks Tony). As for the Cap coming back scene at the end, they said they have an answer for that, but they will reveal it at a later time.
So wait, you mean, at the point where they initiate the Time Heist is them breaking off the main timeline? But then what about Thanos showing up and the Nebula issue and and *sniff sniff* anyone else smell copper?
@@thewikiddreamer No. Basically, time is like a river, you can't really alter it. The "time travel" in the film is basically letting the avengers hop to another river, and when they're done, they hop back to the original river.
What a great conclusion for the "Infinity saga", and it would have been a really satisfying ending to the MCU as a whole but they won't stop making movies until they stop making money (which is fine but I might stop watching). I definitely prefer Infinity War, but as I said it's a great conclusion. Also one of my friends didn't understand the time travel but as a Dragon Ball fan it works on the same concept so that was fine.
@@Phantom-kc9ly Oh yeah, I don't doubt the movies will be great, but I feel like I might just want to bow out now and maybe pop back in too see any that I might be interested in like Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
If Endgame does work on Dragon Ball's logic though... wouldn't that mean there's a timeline where Hulk didn't return the Infinity Stones to the Ancient One? So I don't think they share the same logic
1:36:00 All the time jumps took them to different universes/timelines (2012, 2013, 2014, e.g). Those universes became one when Cap made the final jump to replace the stones. They never actually disrupted anything and the life Cap spent with Peggy only exists in his memory. She still married that other guy in the main timeline.
Honestly, listening to this, so many of their issues with time travel are fixed with one thing: alternate timelines. They recently explained it in an interview that Cap was in an alternate timeline when he was with Peggy, then he returned. This idea was hinted in the movie, which was the point of the conversation between Hulk and the Ancient One. Edit: Nevermind, they mention it.
Gareth, I think you misunderstood how the time travel DOES work. They shoot down all those movies and shows, because the way it ACTUALLY works is how it works in Dragon Ball.
The next big bad could be Kang the Conquerer. Time travel is explicitly one of his main themes, so they could even have some consequences to messing with timelines in Endgame.
Thank god capitan marvel was under used. She'll have her time, let them wrap up the story without a last minute addition deus ex machina-ing all the problems away.
I don't like her character much in general, especially in her own movie and here (her powers are stupidly explained and that does actually bothers me) but she will have her time yeah
@@spaciouswheat4580 oh, I definitely agree that she is a horrible character. That said, now that they have concluded the story that I care about, they can do whatever they want and I won't be upset. I probably won't care to see anything she's in, but if that's how they want to do their next set of movies then I say go for it. Just don't call me a racist sexist for not wanting to watch, and I have no beef.
@@Thanatos2996 Fellow David, I agree with you slightly. I disagree that her powers are stupidly explained, it's kinda shown quite plainly in her movie how she got it so...I guess I don't get that notion? I am optimistic, so I'm hoping Brie Larson and Carol Danvers only improve from here on out in future Captain Marvel movies after the not-as-good-as-I-hoped performance in her debut movie.
Me as a human: ok I respect your opinions Me as a MCU fan: You dare! You dare criticize this perfect movie you shall be sent to the deepest pits of hell!
cap didnt went back in time, he went back to a parallel universe and came back to the present as an old man, thats the only way this shit make any sense.
As i saw it,it looks like cap return all the stones and then stayed in the peggy timeline and stayed with her.Maybe he destroyed the suit or something and stayed with her
Russos say that he created an alternate timeline when he stayed with Peggy (which raises a lot of questions about how that timeline would play out) but somehow travels to the main MCU timeline to be there at the end. Which works but that is not explained in the movie, and could've been (Sam 'so Steve... you been here all along? There were two of you? " Steve: No, another timeline I guess... but I had to come back to this one to give you this shield)
"This is very convenient" - Gareth 2019. But to be completely fair, yeah, the movie does a lot of that. I would say it's probably the worst offender of it in the MCU. But that's because it's incredibly Comic Book like. It embodies the various situations heroes are thrown into just because. We're talking about a world where a band of space defenders find a pirate god floating amongst the debris when they could have been literally anywhere else in space. Or a kid whose prom date just happened to be his enemy's daughter. Or a man who survived an explosion and gained a monster as a split personality instead of just actually dying. It is the very nature of this genre to have coincidences and lucky breaks. It is how they deal with the situations that make the characters. Doesn't mean these aren't flaws. They're just common here, and I actually feel kinda bad Gareth can't quite get past them. It's quite the curse to be some analytic at times.
That woman empowerment moment was pretty freaking corny. Captain America using Moljnir was fuckimg amazing. He went ham. Captain America getting old was pretty predictable but I like how it was handled. Though it was pretty awkward that he left Bucky out of his ending dialog. Thor chopping Thanos' head off was a bold move and it worked really well. I dont like how they tried to change Thanos' character into complete villian when he was a anti hero with good intentions. So him saying "I'll enjoy destroying you" came out of nowhere. I like the fact they have Iton Man and Captain America having the greatest character development in the movie with them both wielding godly weapons to defeat everyone and having them have a graceful ending. The 5 year time skip would have had more impact if they didnt reveal that there would be more movies after End Game. I would disagree Garith. I thought Hulk × Black Widow was a good dynamic and thought it pretty awkward that they dont go into it more besides HulkBanner being sad she died.
Well the thing with thanos character change was it was a different thanos. when both nebulas got accidently synced in the past and he saw his future where he wins he was elated, but realizing they figured out a way to keep it from happening and end him really gets him. He's feels what hes doing is for the best of the universe and feels that these little ants in the entirety of the universe are the only ungrateful o e ruining everything for the universes benefit. So him going all out makes sense. As he says in epic battle to captain "why cant you all just be grateful for what you even have." Showing he feels they acting entitled and wont learn. So I felt the change in his personality makes sense. No matter what he does even if he wins, their just gonna keep being a nuisance, so he had to end him. Personally my not picks are with some the tine travel elements. Either way the movie is very solid and well done exceptionally. But I agree it can be picked at all day lol.
@@Spider_Mike023 when you explain it like that, it makes sense. And I guess when it comes to things being a finale, it's near impossible to live up to all the hype if it was built up for over 10 years. Ita like KH3. KH3 is a great game. What if the 50% of the population brought back had a "mutated" minority since Bruce mentioned the stones radiated gamma rays? And in far from home we see Mysterio was a casualty of this effect?
The difference between Thor fighting Infinity Thanos and Thor fighting Full Power Thanos is that Stormbreaker is immune to any sort of energy. The beam that was fired at Stormbreaker in IW was literally just energy, meaning that Stormbreaker was immune to it. Thor was both out of shape and had to fight Thanos head to head in Endgame, so that's the difference.
Endgame finishes the past 11 years on a good note and wraps up a lot of loose ends. However, Infinity War was so focused on one character and their greatest accomplishment. You actually get to see the rise of Thanos and just how he fights; he’s extremely capable and a terrifying threat. Those 10 years of an ominous person in the background, now is in front of you. So it’s understandable for why people might like Infinity War more than Endgame.

He’s not 116 he’s still the age he was before he froze. When he froze it had preserved his body. Some of his memories are probably 80 years old but he’s still the same age since the first captain America movie.
That is some backwards ass logic there buddy. Paul Rudd is 50 but I can say he is 31 because he doesn't look like 50. Age is a number, not an appearance
Kalis X1 okay yes but I’m talking when he traveled back in time. If he lived to the current time again he’d have to be 116 years old. At the end of the movie when he’s on the bench hence the traveling back comment
Joey Reddick oh okay gotcha. I thought you were saying that as if the years he was frozen we’re still counted. Then yes, he’ll be atleast 100 and something years old
I just realized that Tony’s head being the largest on the cover art shows his significance in the fight against Thanos which is right next to him, and significance in the fight is represented by how big their head is on this screen
Gareth is mad that we didn’t get a scene of Captain America running into Red Skull again while I’m mad we didn’t get a scene of General Ross interacting with Hulk after years of despising him after he saved the universe with a snap
24:27-24:52 From what the movies have implied, The way time travel works in the quantum realm is almost entirely random. Tony Stark even mentions that it was a ‘one in a billion chance’ that only five hours passed for Scott Lang while he was stuck there. It’s the entire reason why they had to create and test a special machine for the time heist, so you could travel through the quantum realm without your physical age being affected. So Scott got extremely lucky and only spent five hours in there for five years, whereas Janet Van Dyne entered a different way into the quantum realm and ended up spending roughly the same amount of time in there as time passed in the real world. It’s kind of an ass-pull, sure, but I wouldn’t say it’s a plot hole, because they give a in universe reason for why things happened the way they did
I haven't seen it, and after reading the plot summary on Wikipedia... I honestly don't want to. I mean, a story of heroes travelling across time to gather magical jewels that will ultimately determine the fate of the universe? I feel like I'm the only one who has noticed this, but that is LITERALLY the plot of Crash Bandicoot 3! And then there's the little matter of all the plot holes and paradoxes that inevitably come with time travel being used as a plot point. As you yourself once said, Johnny, "Time travel is bullshit!"
If you've been watching these movies for a while, even for just a few years, you owe ir to yourself to watch this movie. Time travel can be done well, and I would say this is one of the best time travel movies to ever be made. It's up there with Terminator 2 and Back to the Future 1 and 2.
@@kill3rs529 There's only one plot hole that isn't properly addressed, Cap at the end. Everything else can be explained by thinking about it, or will be addressed in future movies, as has been shown by the Far From Home trailer.

*NOTE TO JOHNNY:* Mjollnir (that's Thor's hammer to you mere mortals), as powerful as it is, is incapable of summoning the Bifrost. Stormbreaker (Thor's axe, which was made during Infinity War), on the other hand, _is._
Most of the original Avenger's are gone... Iron Man took the role of martyr to wipe out Thanos once and for all. Black widow sacrificed herself to save Hawkeye and get the soul stone. Hawkeye has retired to be a full time dad and husband to his family. Captain America chose to live a normal life in the past and returned as an elderly man in the present to pass on his shield to Falcon. Thor has decided to join the GotG and has left Asgard as well as Earth behind. The Hulk is the only OG Avenger thats still around... :(.
They do establish that Scott must’ve stumbled into a time vortex thingy which Wasp’s mother didn’t. It doesn’t make much sense but they do attempt to explain it
@@Faustulous He probably didn't even know it was Earth as well. Also how was Shuri even okay? Didn't she fall down incredibly tall building before getting snapped? Shouldn't she be like injured lol
Gamora's death affected me more than Black Widow's, just felt very emotional and well done. Ah, I don't think Star-Lord's useless or sucks, but he wouldn't be as powerful as the others, like Captain Marvel or Hulk. Ah, on Vormir, there's only Red Skull, so there's no threat for Widow or Hawkeye.
I love how people make a giant fuss about how Black Widow sacrificed herself to get the Soul Gem and say it's so cheap and stupid And yet no one bats an eye when Gamora goes through the same thing in Infinity War
There was a fuss about that that was quickly mitigated by the fact that it was treated as a proper travesty because Thanos FORCED her off the cliff by exploiting his own twisted sense of fatherly love to achieve his goals. Here, Widow is practically begging to throw HERSELF off after repeatedly getting mishandled throughout the series in mild but increasingly frustrating ways. It reads as them giving up on trying with her. The scene itself is inherently going to end poorly due to how the Soul Stone is gained, but it's the straw that broke the camel's back instead of a first-time offense.

The scene of Ronin was to establish how far Hawkeye had fallen, and to establish his sword skills. Especially since Hawkeye doesn't really have much action scenes afterwards. He has a brief scuffle with Widow, but spends much of the final battle trying to get the Gauntlet away from Thanos.
Overall loved the movie -Was really sad when Tony died, and a bittersweet nostalgic feeling when we only hear the clanking at the very end of the movie -Felt a sense of happiness when I saw Steve on his date, and pretty much nerdgasim when he said the line -Found Big Thorbowsky depressingly hilarious -Did not care for Professor Hulk, his moments could have been easily replaced with Thor or Tony, pretty much wasted him in my opinion -It was honestly a coin flip to me on who's kicking the bucket between Nat and Clint, but was still saddened by the scene none the less and Hawkeye/Ronin was a badass and like Black Widows hairdo way more here than in Infinity War -The final battle will go down as one of, if not, *the* best scene in all of comic book movies
The only time I applauded during a movie was while watching The Dark Knight. It was the scene where Batman sets up the wire trap for the Joker's 18-wheeler with his Bat-cycle, then drives up the wall to come to a complete stop, do a 180 on his back wheel, and drop down to watch his plan work. The entire theater erupted in applause.
"The time travel makes no sense!" Me as a Dragon Ball fan: This isn't my first rodeo with this kind of time travel. No seriously the time travel is the EXACT same as Dragon Ball
This movie is the only movie I have ever cried during. Tony Stark dying... It was the end of my childhood honestly, and the ending really hit close to home.
When I first saw Hawkeye as Ronin in the movie, I was like, “Aw man, the turned him into Ultimates Hawkeye...” You know, the one where his family died so he’s all emo, doesn’t have a bow and arrow like usual, and is so angsty to the point where he’s become the prototype of Edgy the Hedgy. Luckily, the movie version is better than Ultimates. Also, Thor insulting Fortnite players in the movie was just freaking hilarious. And yeah, I loved how Korg and Meek were still alive.
What if Ted was actually Loki? Think about it, he has the same thin physique, pale skin, and greasy black hair. The only thing that doesn't add up is the accent, but we can chalk that up to Loki's impersonations.
Hawkeye and Widow got sent to Vormiir because that was the only spot left. Iron Man, Cap, and Hulk were out in the open and fighting the Chitauri, allowing them to blend in easily. Widow spent a lot of time in the roof of the tower. Thor is the only one who knows the layout of Asgard. Rocket is there to operate the extractor. Nebula is with Quill because she is the most familiar with that era and Quill specifically. Rhodey is there for muscle in case anything goes wrong, and his armor would help fight any threats. That leaves Hawkeye and Widow. Also, Nebula implies in the movie that, while she doesn't know how to get the Soul Stone, she still knows where Vormiir is and its general atmosphere.
The ending made me tear up, when Happy told Morgan he'd get her all the cheeseburgers she wanted I was broken, no, shattered, it took every fiber of my being not to bawl out loud in the theater.
Some people say that Nebula's memory being interfered with due to being around another Nebula of another time is a very convenient plot cop out. I think a cool way to set a precedent for this could've been with either showing or having Nebula tell a story in GOTG1/2 about how Thanos once destroyed a previous body of hers while her new one was around; describing the pain of phasing between a dead and an alive body as being incredible or something. Then, there would've been a precedent for her memories being fucked with when around her past self. It's like automatically connecting to two WiFi connections, but being set perfectly between the two.
I'm with Johnny on being done with the MCU, partially i mean, and i really don't want to watch Far From Home but i have to as a Spider-Man fan, and man, does it hurt to hear the Captain Marvel praise. Also, man is Gareth sounding like Ryan with all the nitpicking and bitching, though i will admit that i'm with him on the girl power scene, it felt really forced and cringey, but it was really quick and harmless.

They got drinks and popcorn and asked me why I wasnt. Like naw dudes, I dont wanna chance having to get up to pee or kernal bothering my teeth, I wanted to be fully immersed.
I watch the whole movie with too much sugar in my system. So I was hyped on sugar the whole time. Got a headache, and it was 1am. Loved the whole movie (except one part that's not really worthy to complain.) Favorite characters were Black widow, Ronin, and the Hulk.
1:05:38 I found the movie great. But like you, Gareth, I was also mad that we were denied a scene that I wanted: The bit where Tony (or Steve or Thor) told Thanos... Fuck You. Because MCU movies are usually rated PG-13 and your only allowed to drop an F-bomb ONCE. Worked wonders for Ready Player One.
That was actually a deleted scene, but the Russos believed it was more poetic for RDJ to end on “I am Iron Man” I honestly agree. A random F-Bomb would be emotionally unfulfilling.
I can’t even begin to explain how chaotic half the population suddenly returning five years later and no time having passed for them is on both a world and person by person level. At least a the snap has some upsides once people move on from it but what the heroes have done here is sheer bedlam

*_Smashes hand against phone in excitement, breaking every finger I have in the process_*
Dang dude, that must've been a DETROIT SMASH!
How brittle are your fingers?
Is your hand destroyed like the Infinity Gauntlet?
ANOTHER!
Gareth, I think you misunderstood how the time travel DOES work. They shoot down all those movies and shows, because the way it ACTUALLY works is how it works in Dragon Ball.
Do I like this comment because I agree Dragon Ball does it well or do I dislike it because I don't think Avengers does it well?
@@lucariojet They both do it the exact same way.
@@Bobb11881 Yeah - Like the scene where Trunks travels to a multiverse and comes back an old man/baby.
@@lucariojet That wasn't part of the time travel. They explained that.
@@Bobb11881 I can concede that one - Your thoughts on the Captain America return? That's the one that really confuses me.
The next big bad could be Kang the Conquerer. Time travel is explicitly one of his main themes, so they could even have some consequences to messing with timelines in Endgame.
Nebula probably figured out how Thanos got the Soul Stone and sent those two on purpose.
Iron Man 22 was great! I liked the part where he said, “I am Iron Man.”
“Hey, are you Iron Man?”
“I am Iron Man.”
"Yup, that's Iron Man's ass"
David Laush A civil discussion about Captain Marvel, I'm shocked. Guess Johnny has a way of bringing people together.
Me as a human: ok I respect your opinions
Me as a MCU fan: You dare! You dare criticize this perfect movie you shall be sent to the deepest pits of hell!
Peter nervously greeting Captain Marvel and her slightly flirting back was a fun moment for me.
Don't see Endgame, it has Endgame spoilers.
omg thanks that was a close one
I gonna say this now, Endgame has THE best final battle ever committed to film
Come at me...
I’ll fight alongside ya brother!
It could've been much longer and have more character interaction but it was still a blast.
Lord Kaiju X It was long enough I’d say .
Then we shall fight together
The 10 years of build up came to that fight
In context war machine is the secret 7th member of the avengers since he’s been around since iron man 1
cap didnt went back in time, he went back to a parallel universe and came back to the present as an old man, thats the only way this shit make any sense.
As i saw it,it looks like cap return all the stones and then stayed in the peggy timeline and stayed with her.Maybe he destroyed the suit or something and stayed with her
And the return to the place near the "time machine" old already. And thats all i think
Did i forget something?
Russos say that he created an alternate timeline when he stayed with Peggy (which raises a lot of questions about how that timeline would play out) but somehow travels to the main MCU timeline to be there at the end. Which works but that is not explained in the movie, and could've been (Sam 'so Steve... you been here all along? There were two of you? " Steve: No, another timeline I guess... but I had to come back to this one to give you this shield)
I will enjoy having this on in the background while I work on my final exam papers 😁
dude same :D
How did you do
Man, I've been waiting for this! Love you guys in these Podcasts along with the usual BSC.

Next up. Ted: Far From Home!
Then after that, we are getting Garrett of the galaxy vol. 3
Lewis: The Dark World
Ant -dude and the wasp
The Great Clement (He turns green)
Somewhat analytic*. Don't mean to make him sound like a loon.
This movie isn’t a movie. IT IS HISTORY.
It is the endgame
Its just impossible to make a finale to encompass a decade of work.
SShaBazzz also keep in mind that wasn’t the first time thanos was defeated by the avengers. All be it indirectly but still
@@kevinnigins9488 true. But doesnt Thanod' death create a plot hole. Because of Thanos is completely killed in this time, how does he collect the stones in the past?
SShaBazzz It was explained not once but twice in the film that changing the past does not effect the future, but create and alternate timeline.
!!! I've been quietly wishing that there be a podcast on Endgame w/ the usual suspects and didn't wanna be bothersome as I was sure you'd likely be pestered w/ the question, but man I'm happy you found time to do so. Thank you in advance for this & for making May start on a solid note!
As soon as I watched the movie, I immediately wanted to listen to y'alls podcast on this because I really enjoy hearing John and the gang discussing everything about the movie.

What if the 50% of the population brought back had a "mutated" minority since Bruce mentioned the stones radiated gamma rays? And in far from home we see Mysterio was a casualty of this effect?
And That's where we get x-men.
player 3 productions x men aren’t gonna be introduced until phase 6 or maybe 5 since marvel just acquired Fox
@@TheWonder96 I never said we were getting x-men in phase 4. Juan S' Proposal gives them an in to include X-men in the MCU.
player 3 productions I never implied you said that I was just making a statement.
Its interesting to see how thanos in this movie is ridiculously strong even without the stones.
@King Arthur Especially if you think about how he stood up to Hulk like he was nothing in Infinity War. And he was just using his fists at the time.
@@GJGaming208 I almost thought they were gonna have him beat by captain marvel. Until he pulled a stone from the gauntlet just to use that stone. It was a very clever way to show how even after being beat down by tons of characters he was STILL able to get the stones.
I work at a movie theater. Opening night was so insane. The company called and requested that any movie that had little or no attendance for that day until Sunday to be removed and add avengers. All 12 auditoriums were playing avengers. Last movie added each night was about 2a. I ended getting out at 6a. Love this movie. Side note, only one person complained to me that I didn’t advise him about no post credit ending.
So, Johnny... are you gonna do an Endgame Podcast soon?
Lol
As Adam Sandler would say ( WHAT AN ASSHOLE!)
Huehuehue
I ended up seeing it a second time a few days ago, and I had one little girl (about 5 years old) sitting in front of me during the ending saying in the most serious voice “is he dead? Oh he’s dead”
I drank a large coke and finished it about half an hour in so I just sat there for 2 and a half hours holding in my piss and I was not about to get up at any point. I can say it was worth it
DUDE! I'm SO glad it's finally posted! Not gonna lie, I was re-listening to your Infinity War review the day before seeing Endgame and after seeing it, I've been ANXIOUSLY waiting for you and the boys' to talk about this. I LOVE when you guys go at it, your rapport together is just so charming and a hell of bright spot during a VERY long work day! ^-^
As for age he was born in 1918. He froze in 1945 and was alive from 2012-2023 before traveling back. He’s 116
Then yes, he’ll be atleast 100 and something years old
43:26 this is the best part of this podcast
I love you Gareth!
I just realized that Tony’s head being the largest on the cover art shows his significance in the fight against Thanos which is right next to him, and significance in the fight is represented by how big their head is on this screen
Ah, the true review for Endgame. Only if it was a hour longer.
The other movies released last friday die in Endgame
Lol
Gareth is mad that we didn’t get a scene of Captain America running into Red Skull again while I’m mad we didn’t get a scene of General Ross interacting with Hulk after years of despising him after he saved the universe with a snap
I had a kid a couple rows back who yelled unlucky both times thanos died
Johnny really thinks Gareth is funny, doesn’t he? He laughs at everything he says.
Good observation ig
No one reads comics says Ted.
Menawhile while listening to this im going to my local comic book store to get IDW Comics.
Just as much fun as the Infinity War one
Infinity war was superior imo only because of the amount of plot holes in this one but that being said it was a fucking amazing finale
@@kill3rs529
There's only one plot hole that isn't properly addressed, Cap at the end. Everything else can be explained by thinking about it, or will be addressed in future movies, as has been shown by the Far From Home trailer.
I felt so bad cause when it got to the part Black Widow fell I couldn't help but think of the Fortnite beeping sound and the text saying "didnt stick the landing"

Hulk burned half of his body due to the snap and likely permanently scarred himself.
Hey that's cool, man. They have to end the it some how.
They do establish that Scott must’ve stumbled into a time vortex thingy which Wasp’s mother didn’t. It doesn’t make much sense but they do attempt to explain it
I like how Star Lord was on Earth and didn't react to it at all
Well, being suddenly revived and told to fight Thanos' army, really doesn't leave you enough time to take that in. It probably happened off screen?
@@Faustulous He probably didn't even know it was Earth as well.
Also how was Shuri even okay? Didn't she fall down incredibly tall building before getting snapped? Shouldn't she be like injured lol
Gamora's death affected me more than Black Widow's, just felt very emotional and well done.
Ah, I don't think Star-Lord's useless or sucks, but he wouldn't be as powerful as the others, like Captain Marvel or Hulk.
Ah, on Vormir, there's only Red Skull, so there's no threat for Widow or Hawkeye.
See everyone back in a week or so for the Detective Pikachu podcast.
1. Spider-Man's in college now
2. Who was the freaking Skrull? Someone else? Another movie? Make up your mind
Spider-Man's not in college, him and his friends died so they didn't age. They're still in high school
I love how people make a giant fuss about how Black Widow sacrificed herself to get the Soul Gem and say it's so cheap and stupid
And yet no one bats an eye when Gamora goes through the same thing in Infinity War
Thanos: I am inevitable *snaps but nothing happens
*
Thanos: *Sees Tony with his own Infinity Gauntlet and all the stones

Tony: *[Roundabout intensifies]*

RUclips ladies and gentlemen
I saw a comic page where Dr Doom rips Thanos' skeleton out of his body simply for sizing him up
Dr Doom has potential
T'was also when he ended up becoming literal God-Doom. And before he became Iron Man.
This is why the comics are meaningless.
"I need to go pick up the pumpkins but that scarecrow scares me. "
Thanos waits on halloween for the great pumpkin to appear
The scene of Ronin was to establish how far Hawkeye had fallen, and to establish his sword skills. Especially since Hawkeye doesn't really have much action scenes afterwards. He has a brief scuffle with Widow, but spends much of the final battle trying to get the Gauntlet away from Thanos.
Overall loved the movie
-Was really sad when Tony died, and a bittersweet nostalgic feeling when we only hear the clanking at the very end of the movie
-Felt a sense of happiness when I saw Steve on his date, and pretty much nerdgasim when he said the line
-Found Big Thorbowsky depressingly hilarious
-Did not care for Professor Hulk, his moments could have been easily replaced with Thor or Tony, pretty much wasted him in my opinion
-It was honestly a coin flip to me on who's kicking the bucket between Nat and Clint, but was still saddened by the scene none the less and Hawkeye/Ronin was a badass and like Black Widows hairdo way more here than in Infinity War
-The final battle will go down as one of, if not, *the* best scene in all of comic book movies
"The time travel makes no sense!"
Me as a Dragon Ball fan: This isn't my first rodeo with this kind of time travel.
When Morgan was asked what she wanted to eat and requested cheeseburgers I feel like I wanted to burst into tears.
I didn't really mind that Captain Marvel was a secondary character, the movie was first and foremost about the six original Avengers.
I’d like to see a Rocket and Groot origin film.
Endgame is much better than Infinity War and will age better than it as well.
Love both to death though.
At least Gareth sounds enthusiastic and full of energy while Ryan just drones on with no fun.
I made sure to buy no soda and no food and came out dehydrated and hungry but HYPED AS HELL!
Haha got a night out with the boys to see this. We saw these smthese from beginning back in high school, and even though have families our own now had to see finish this all off together.
But like you, Gareth, I was also mad that we were denied a scene that I wanted:
The bit where Tony (or Steve or Thor) told Thanos... Fuck You.
Because MCU movies are usually rated PG-13 and your only allowed to drop an F-bomb ONCE. Worked wonders for Ready Player One.
That was actually a deleted scene, but the Russos believed it was more poetic for RDJ to end on “I am Iron Man”
I honestly agree.
