…but they were not fired, they just didn’t make the party list because of the representative parliamentary party system that is used in SA! Each party has a list based on a vote from within their party. The number they can send to parliament depends on what percentage of the vote the party gets in a general election! The higher your name is on the list, the higher your chances of getting a seat in parliament!
