I saw this in theaters and I will admit I did bawled my eyes out when Chris said his speech. I was the only ARMY in the theater but I didn't care, I held my ARMY bomb high for them both! This was such a touching and beautiful moment for two of the greatest artists. We will all dearly miss Jin but we will all wait for them. 💜

I read that Jin's final words before he bowed and the lights dimmed were "I love you, ARMY". And Chris offered this opportunity for Jin with only a few days to make it happen. Therefore this is also Coldplay's gift to ARMY. I am blown away by Chris falling ro his knees when Jin first appeared on stage and began to sing. And then to have him open his arms when Jin ran to him and they hugged...and Chris kissed him on the side of the head! Following such a loving speech it all was just the moat overwhelming gift of love to ARMY, BTS, and our precious Jin. 💜 BTS has changed the world I tell people everywhere. They have brought an ocean of love, kindness, and understanding to the whole world. And here it is for us all to see and treasure.💜
Also! Just so you guys know: a lot of locals here in Argentina are starting to love Jin since he came here to play with Coldplay. I heard that a lot of the people who went to the show came out of the stadium talking about how sweet and emotional that performance was, also a lot of locals on Twitter are talking about how proud they are that a BTS member decided to debut as a soloist in our country.

I am longtime Coldplayer and an Army for a while now. This had me bawling like a baby… 😭😭😭 .Chris actually told Jin that he can do some ments after the performance to say a few words but Jin decline and said that this is their concert and was already thankful to get a chance to sing it live with them… i can’t anymore. 😭😭😭

Im curious - were there a lot of people who went there mainly for Jin?
@@oliviasoria7535 I would say 20% or less were ARMYs (bc the show was actually sold out already but the stadium added more space recently (maybe 6k seats?) AND a lot of ARMYs found their way to buy a ticket from people that had already bought it) but we sang EVERY Coldplay song and screamed the loudest so you couldn't actually notice who was there for Jin (except for the flash of our phones because we had a purple thingy to make a purple light lol)
It's even more special when you notice Chris was actually singing in Korean in the 2nd verse
@DTParker - Thank you for your reaction. I was in theatre with my sister witnessing the Coldplay concert that was broadcast to over 98 countries around the world. We're Coldplayers but I am also ARMY (since 2017).I teared up and cried the moment Jin ran towards Chris Martin on stage - the joy on Chris's face, wide loving arms ready to welcome Jin - just that beautiful touching moment. I thought to myself thank you Chris for in this moment YOU ARE REPRESENTING ALL ARMYS with this gesture telling Jin we'll always be here to welcome Jin home with open arms and a loving embrace. Also, the latter moment where at the down stage, the wholesome and genuine smile on Chris's face (again representing all ARMYS) and he let Jin have his moment to dance and express his love to us. Agh... Many thanks to Chris Martin and the Coldplay members for making Jin's dream come true: to collab with his most favorite artist, to sing together on stage AND TO BE ABLE TO TELL ARMYS ALL OVER THE WORLD - "I LOVE YOU" - thru this globally projected concert.
God! That speech to introduce Jin, that was amazing. Chris is such a beautiful person. You can see the sincerity in his eyes every time he look at Jin. I don't know why but since Chris met Jin, he just loved him. He even gave Jin his precious🎸 true friendship.
Chris Martin co wrote the lyrics and music. He never gift his song to no one. He gift this to our WWH, He realy love our boy.
The whole intro and singing exchanges between Jin and Chris were so genuine and pure. The love and admiration they have for each other is heartwarming. I cry every time I watch this performance, cried at the theater. Especially at the beginning when Jin runs up, they hug and Chris kisses his forehead. And at the end when they sing to each other and start to laugh, so heartfelt and authentic 🥰💜😢💜

What you may not know is that although Jin reached out to Coldplay for the song, Chris reached out to Jin just a short while ago and invited him to perform 'The Astronaut' with Coldplay for this livestream concert. Jin's reply? I'll do whatever it takes to make it happen. I watched the concert replay in the theatre last night and was in tears when Jin came out to sing 😭😭😭 The whole concert was amazing and so memorable. What a wonderful 'farewell for now' gift from Jin to Army 💜

For Jin to be thinking of us to ask Coldplay to gift a song for Army, fly to Argentina to perform, create a vid, and such a sweet song shows what Army means to Jin. Also in his vlive, he mentioned he wanted to enlist in the spring or summer, but he held off for the concert in Busan, and I’m guessing PTD in Vegas (which I am grateful for since I was able to travel there and attend day 1). What a sweetheart! Pls continue streaming the Astronaut for him.

I loved Jin's new song and was inspired to write this. The first three lines(after the first sentence) is a comment about their current situation and those that are trying to use them, lines 27 and 28 is in regard to some people's hope that we could just replace them with others, the rest is to voice our concerns and frustrations and through it all to show our love and support for our guys in BTS, either as solos or together. It is just so terribly bittersweet. On one hand I feel so appreciated as a fan that he did all that for us, on the other, it’s two years away from us and the stage and his career and passion. Thank you DT for playing the intro from Chris Martin. I had no idea because the clip I saw was just Jin’s performance. I was tearing up when I saw Jin on stage in Buenos Aires. He looked so relaxed, so carefree and so happy, the happiest I’ve ever seen him. Jin looked like he was living his best life at that moment. I was so proud and happy for him and cried. Now watching your video reaction, hearing Chris Martin’s intro, I’m balling my eyes out because it shows how much Jin thinks of ARMY and cares for ARMY. Jin is such a kindhearted, loving, pure and innocent being and hope he forever stays this way. I worry and pray that he stays safe while he serves his military service, especially now with everything that’s going on in that part of the world. I was so proud of him like he was my own son and watching Chris and Coldplay smile and looking so proud of Jin made me cry. I have tears in my every time I streamed The Astronaut for past 3 days. I haven't felt that assurance for a long time like Jin giving us. It's a promise just like proof album it's a promise to come back to us. The Astronaut didn't leave. He couldn't leave his family. He came back and in 18months Jin will be back. I know he will be stronger than ever physically and mentally. Waiting is worth because see the love they have for us. Except our parents no one loved ARMYs as much as BTS do and vice versa. Our bond is stronger than ever. Only thing I'm worrying is we have to endure this pain for 7 times and that's worst. But their decision is all I respect than my sorrow. 2025 will be tomorrow just like 2020 was yesterday. Praying for their safety 🙏🏻

You are right a perfect collab and very emotional moment. I'm sure Bang PD, BTS brothers and his parents very proud with his song and the way he perform. It's sad it's Jin's last performance for a while but happy that song was dedicated to Army before his enlistment. A very memorable concert. Chris's facial expression when Jin ran is like a father that very proud and excitement waiting to hug him. The crowd cried from the time Jin start to sing can't imagine his last performane but it's fine after 2 years Jin will be around again. Argentina turned ArJINtina!
