Nice apartment. For Toronto, you rent is very reasonable. I see why you been there for 7 years. Also, I see why you can afford to do RUclips fulltime. Thanks for the tour.

That is why you are so slim because you make healthy smoothies and walk tons for your picturesque and fascinating videos!! Very delightful video and thanks Mr. J🌞🤗
Very nice decent apartment. I love it! I also live in a bachelor apt and don't believe in getting huge living spaces when a comfy bed, chairs and Big screen TV is all you really need.
Thanks for the tour. Actually toilet paper should go over, less contact with the walls and less chance of picking up e-coli or other bacteria. There was a study on that a few years ago. Also, the original design patent for the toilet paper roll shows the paper going over.
Amazing apartment! I've been looking for apartments to live in alone for months but its quite hard to do so with budgeting but now I just decided to look for studios and this one looks perfect for what I want in a studio. You are very lucky haha. I'd love to live here.
Great tour Johnny! You are sitting on a gold mine for size and price. Love the layout and how you have furnished it... great floor to ceiling windows with a balcony to boot. I disagree with one thing though....the toilet paper goes OVER, not under! 😅🧻
I can so relate to your layout and living quarters. You are just a good ole Canadian boy that has walked into a really neat niche of sharing your world of places where you live and have expanded into a more global market of video taping. Be safe on those roads and destinations.
Pretty cool pad! I'm lazy too when it comes to hanging stuff on the wall😁 However, that decorative coffee table is nice. I just shook my head when I saw your closet. I'm a neat freak, lol!😄 I'm impressed overall: it looks quite cozy. Thanks for the apt tour!🤗
Very nice, thanks for the tour. Can’t believe your rent for that location! When Line 5 opens, midtown neighbourhood will be even more desirable area to live.
Very nice apartment and loved the final touch where you landed on singer Johnny Hallyday , He is a French legend and totally rocks. Thanks for sharing, from a Johnny Strides and Johnny Hallyday fan.❤
Nice apt tour. I'm envious of your huge balcony & the patio furniture. I see you tidied up the wine bottles lol. Your kitchen is the same size as mine. Everything is awesome in there but the tp......over. BTW, my storage closet looks like yours.
Sweet place! Not too dissimilar from mine. I like that recliner. haha I bet you could pick up most of the Canadian and American TV networks if you got an antenna and pointed it towards the South/Southeast, although it's possible that the tall buildings at Yonge & Eglinton might cause some signal blockage. My window faces in that direction and I have one of those flat indoor antennas stuck to it and I receive over 40 TV stations from Toronto, Buffalo, and Hamilton reliably, many in crystal clear HD. I have a video featuring my antenna reception on my Ken Continues channel.
This entire comment reads suspiciously like an advert for the Ken Continues! haha... but I'll check that out. I actually do have one of those antennas stuck to my window facing east (it's hidden behind the drapes). It is quite handy when i want to watch some local TV, I only get about 20 stations though but I have "creative" ways of getting all the stations anyway ;)
@@JohnnyStumbles Haha D'OH! You're on to me! Not too surprised that you already have an antenna considering how similar everything else about our apartments and lifestyles are.
Hi Johnny . Great to see your place . Having utilities included is a big bonus . Like your black / dark colour scheme . Love your "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree with 1 red ornament . God bless . Mark (Toronto)
A very nice tour of your apartment. I thought you said you moved in July 2014? I also moved in my apartment July 2014. You have it very nice and comfortably arranged the furniture. I agree the T V should be seen from as many areas as possible. Thank you for sharing
I was going to mention about the sound, you're lucky!! I'd love to live where it's quiet, my apartment is loud and VERY annoying, I've had to buy earbuds for my t.v just so I can relax and watch t.v without getting angry at my neighbours 🙃
I had a great bachelor at Main and Danforth for 8 yrs. Slightly bigger than yours, with a nook for my bed with a double closet right beside it. It also had a 13 foot balcony that ran the length of the apartment. Another double closet and a linen closet right outside the bathroom. It was open concept and perfect for me and the years I was in it. I paid under $1,000 up until the last year I was there! I did the swivel thing with my TV too so I could watch from the kitchen dining table, or from bed 😂. Can't find that size or price now!
Excellent interior decoration, classy and functional. 500 sq ft is small, but Yonge/Eglinton is an excellent convenient neighbourhood, In the suburbs, you may get a 750 sq ft unit for the same price point, but no nearby subway and you'll have to walk 40 minutes just for coffee. The mess in the walk-in closet is understandable, we all need a corner to store our messy stuff, otherwise, we'll be cleaning and organizing 24/365.
@@JohnnyStumbles By the way, you have a fair size balcony. I like to make full use of mine. In the winter, I store frozen food in a rubber tub container when I'm short of freezer space. In the summer, I use the balcony as an extra room.

AHA - that is what 500 sq feet looks like! Thanks Johnny! I have my name on the waiting lists for bachelor apartments in a couple of co-ops, and have wondered just how much downsizing I will have to do - not much, it appears.
Hi. You can use 3M Strips to hang lots of stuff, there are different ones for different weights. I use them to hang fairly LARGE pictures and none have failed at all! And they come off without doing any damage at all ! Hope you try them! 👍 Also i have an Extremely Large TV (86”) and in a small condo i bought , and its Front and Centre and overwhelming and I Love It!!! LoL
Why does it matter? I actually have never met anyone who puts toilet paper the way Johnny does. In either case, it really doesn’t matter as long as everyone wipes after going to the bathroom and washes their hands. ^0^ I think everyone can settle this argument that way...if it bothers you that much for whatever reason, flip it over when you use it and let the other people flip it the way the want when they use it. Not that hard. ^o^
