Trains at Prestonpans, ECML - 21/09/18

Video: A late morning to early afternoon spotting trains at Prestonpans station on the Scottish portion of the East Coast Main Line. As this spot was filmed in the aftermath of Storm Ali, services were still slightly altered but slowly improving with the first electric train (LNER IC225 set) from London bound for Edinburgh passing through (seen in this video) since the overhead lines at Durham were fixed. HSTs were still covering the majority of LNER Edinburgh-London services with one set using a XC power car which was interesting to see.
The station itself is a very nice one to spot at for the nice distant views, and of trains tilting round the tight super-elevated curves.

London North Eastern Railway (LNER) Class 43 HSTs (incl. CrossCountry 43285 on hire) & Class 91 Intercity 225s & Class 800 Super Express / Azuma, CrossCountry Class 220 Voyagers & Class 221 Super Voyagers, ScotRail Class 380 Desiros & Class 385 AT200s and a SB Rail Tamper.
