yah she's really prophetic 36 years later in 2024, 82 incidents of school shootings in 2023 alone, school shootings and teen murders have become the norm even worse than the earlier decades.
They say a person's brain is not completely developed until age 25 and if they do drugs before that they say the brain stops developing at whatever age they started doing drugs so i don't know if we should put kids to death. That being said, fortunately ive never had anyone I love brutally murdered so I've never been in that position. I really dont know what the answer should be to this but i dont think an 11 year old should be executed
Who's fault is it if a significant amount of people who do drink/ smoke/do drugs started between ages 12-16? Therefore, scientifically speaking, their brains have stopped developing a whole decade before a normal, drug free brain did. So at 21, of legal age, they may still have an 11 year old brain, and because of that, they shouldn't be punished should they murder someone? Is it the victims' family fault that person decided to dry their brain before they committed assault, rape, or murder? This is such a complicated issue.
