BET I hope y'all are honoring Usher this year at the BET Awards! It's his time! He's been in the game too long! Only one I can think of that came out around his time and is still relevant today.
Best R&B Album of all time 🔥🔥16 yrs later he boutta release Confessions 2 every song was a jam, no skips, and you can still hear these songs at the clubs right now today and they still sound just as good as they did in 2004, looking forward to C2!! 🙌🏽🎵❤️🎵🎹🌹 This was Classic Usher 👑🎤🕺🏽
They will, in the long run, they will respect him at the end of the day. His true fans and the general public who cared about Usher always held him in high regards. Confessions is an impossible album for anyone including Usher to top. When Usher plans to make music for Urban AC crowd, hot AC, AC crowd and not make music for Urban and pop radio or maybe stop releasing CDs then the other people who doubted him will miss him and appreciate him in the long run.
Living Legend. 1.1 Million sold the FIRST WEEK, for an R&B Album at that! Plus countless awards, accolades, and classic hits. This man is my inspiration and I hope to make a name for myself within R&B just like he has. I hope he gets his legend/icon awards soon too.
He got legend icon awards from BET honors, the golden note icon award back in 2013, won lifetime achievement awards for his philanthropy, he won so many awards, several hall of fame inductions, broke historic world records in 2004, got end of decade awards and so many record certifications. Hopefully he will get some more of those lifetime achievement awards that they should have given to him sooner. I wish R&B were still popular and promoted properly, if it were he would have way more of those all time icon awards and everything else too. He is always the G.O.A.T.
wow the memories he was untouchable back then, he owned the year 2004 in music. I wanted to be him when i was younger confessions album is a monument in a lot of people lives growing up.
Great video! I love this man forever!!! "Confessions" will always be a CLASSIC album period! Usher is a legend/icon and we should CELEBRATE and honor him. He has done so much in music and for being in the music industry for a LONG time it commendable his legacy will live on forever! Happy Anniversary to "Confessions"!!!
Got 3 copys still got it from that day. 1 snap. 1 i leant out & never got it back... & one i still have till this day. His best work!!! Seduction was it for me, then superstar
@@jordantriplett5672 confessions did better than 8701 commercially probably because of his relationship with Chilli, but in terms of production quality and everything else, 8701 is unmached
I'll never forget this album selling 1.1 million in one week. The baby rumors and break up with chilli spiced everything up. Summer 2004 was extra hot I had my first summer job in the waterfront in southwest Washington as a student intern and my friend/classmate/coworker bought the album. Great interview 👍👍
Lmao we all been lied too, Jermaine Dupri said the confessions album was mostly about JD’s life NOT Usher’s. JD was the one that had the kid by a women he barely even knew.while the whole time we thought this album was about chili when it was not. Still dope album tho
I was 9, I had the album on bootleg 2x. You just _couldn't_ touch Usher at this point in time. Can't believe it's been 16 years already. _106_ was _the_ show. AJ and Free gave it that aesthetic.
Chris brown had one on in the beginning of the gimme that video featuring lil wayne I'll rock that jacket today I always found those jackets to be dope to me
Further more his body language was communication space for those that do not know.... AJ entire hair dreadswere glued on.... Rays foot behind his leg was more for Us saying he was hiding something yielding the same as AJ
#Confessions is celebrating its #Sweet16 💎What was your favorite track on the album? Let us know!

It amazes me people don’t give him the respect he so truly deserves. Legendary artist to this day! And Confessions is an absolute masterpiece.

The king of R&B 👑
When Usher had the R&B game on lock...let's see how Confessions Part III sounds
Island Mamaz I think it’s more about quality music than confessing
The Alkebulan Trust Still do imo!

Back when people loved and respected Usher. Now all they do is talk about his personal life.
True but not me reading your comment you niethet(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
D_money People still love and respect him, it’s ignorant people that choose to disrespect legends like Usher!!
Super talented. 💿🎤. Super rich. 💲. When u have herpes u should keep them 2 yourself. 😯

I hate it that he is not there anymore and guys like jt and drake above him people these days don’t respect usher
Confessions was a legendary moments for usher
this album changed R&B forever. Everybody was biting his singing cadence after this album
Explain sir
He DEFINITELY is the blueprint and doesn't get enough recognition for the bar and standard he set within music.
@Ty Snypez yes… really
That album is great from beginning to ending
I was an 11-year-old 5th grader when Confessions came out. My childhood memories.
😄🙌

His voice is classic. I'm glad he's working on new music.
Dude never age.
Nice throwback 💜 Looking forward to the next Confessions😍
Confessions in 2004 had the same impact as Bobby Brown's Don't Be Cruel album in 1989.
Definitely 🔥🔥🔥B.Brown music was amazing and usher songs are amazing as well truly legends

8701 & Raymond V Raymond says hi.
I remember this episode!!! Was a college student at the time...

Usher really speaks eloquently.
Jermaine Dupri has a story to tell that’s the reason usher did that record

He really did! He made it a masterpiece.
Don't forget B.Cox!!!
I rly be diggn a couple of his songs in dis album bc he sings abt situations that are real asf

Ush could wear this whole tent of an outfit in 2020 and would look the exact same. He don’t age lol
I love frees hair color!
And he’s coming out with Confessions 2 soon
I’m sorry but 8701 was his best album to me!
Agree, I can Listen to 8701 from Beginning To End, Let's say Confessions is Just Different
Deandre Ray 8701 was dope too
🤔
Also a dope album 🔥
Astor Xhack504 sort of like which album was better off the wall or thriller 8701 being off the wall and thriller being confessions
Everybody and their mama had this album
Usher us good!!🎤💪👍👊🔥💣👍
I remember he used to role up the one pant leg. (Also in My Boo video) I used to do that!!
One arm sleeve.

Cheating on your lady is something every man goes through ?! USHER WHAT?! 😭
I remember that male interviewer as a weirdo back then and bigger weirdo now...
Further more his body language was communication space for those that do not know.... AJ entire hair dreadswere glued on....
Rays foot behind his leg was more for Us saying he was hiding something yielding the same as AJ
This came out on the same day as Madvillany
He literally says no ....then says says and we had it.... And then says no body is really listening.... Says hes never been able to fully discuss
1:01 omg lol 🤐
Hey, he just lied 😵
Wife of chubbz. Ex wife of Jeff y Sharron
