I listened this in 1972 since then I liked these 3 great artist 👍. Kalyani Roy and Jaya Bose were 2 lady sitarist and could not see video of jaya Bose but I delighted to listen Kalyani Roy .Thanks for posting these great artist video.
Wow I can't believe what I'm hearing. this recording is full of emotion. Both artists are brilliant. it's such a shame that we didn't see more of Khan Sahib, especially on the international stage.
What's so significant is that such timeless classics are being so relevantly make the listeners spellbound. So mellifluous and unlimited melody, as someone here commented. Thoroughly soul stirring. Pranaams to the trio.

@@ArchismanMozumder There is a jugalbandi by Ustadji and UVK that was telecast on DD - imho, as good as the UVK- UBK jugalbandis and what is delicious to watch (since it is a video) is the mutual respect and the chemistry between the two. It would be great to listen to more jugalbandi recordings of Ustad Ali Ahmed Hussain.
No word can paraphrase my Sentiment. After Darbari it is my Favourite . only one SUR which is JUHALAYA gaya is difference . Great Nawab of Jounpur invented the sting

Both are the great , also very respected artists ------- seems to me both not evaluted according to their performances , it's unfortunate . Several times i heard both of them . This is also outstanding ---------- thanks for sharing ------

I used to hear them (separately) on AIR Calcutta in the 60s. Nice to hear Jugalbandi.

They were quite well know on the Bengal circuit in the 60s.
