No. It is to his wife. Sad thing is he is making her his God. The lyrics make it sound like it would be about Christ but it is about his wife instead. Odd decision.

So, I thought this album was Mat's return after a disappointing album with lots of songs written for 5 year olds last time. This album was good till this song. A song where he takes everything he has said about Jesus before and says it about his wife instead? So she is his God now? I get this will fly over most people's heads, but as a fan of Mat's since I heard him on Christian radio before he ever had any crossover success it is sad to see how people just can't seem to help themselves and get lost in the process of trying to be cool. Wasn't upset there was not a song about Jesus on the album, write what is going on in your life, but don't use all the terms that should be reserved for Him and make it about your wife. Doesn't put her in a great spot and our lives don't work well when we mix those positions up.
I'm a little confused. I don't see how this is explicitly directed toward his wife. Or am I missing something?
