Thanks Eric. Thinner, but also a smaller body than the 335. Also super light which is a huge advantage after 3 -4 hours of standing. This guitar can do everything I need, so I don't have to switch back and forth between the hollow body and solid body guitars. Also I have come to dislike the coil-tapping schemes. You can't get EITHER a good Tele/Strat sound or Les Paul/335 sound out of coil-tapped pickups - just a weak imitation of both. As the only guitar, I needed a really big, fat sound and this 339 Gibson delivers.
the tabs were brilliant..thanks again
Hey, thanks David!
Excellent, Bruce! Also, I think you look a bit like Walt from Breaking Bad. ;o)
Ha! Maybe I should shave my head. :o) I just finished putting all the tabs into the video which should help the aspiring Bossa Novist!
clayhorsemusic Cool! I really do like the goatee, too!
Hey Bruce, nice! Great guitar too! I once had a Gibson 175, but I found it a bit too big. This one is thinner, great!
