It's totally safe Zakir, They have a proper parking space for your cars and bikes. And they charge a parking fee of 50 rupees or so for bikes (not sure about the exact amount for cars). So when they charge an amount, then they take responsibility to keep your vehicle safe until you return. So no need to worry.😊✌️
I mean i want to go to dudhsagar by jeep and avoid walking on track and through tunnel as we have kids also with us ,but then expirence the view by train also ,in that case are we allowed to take the pictures for a little while on the actual track near the falls
Hi Wilson, If you travel via Jeep then you will not even pass through the train track area, so you will not get the train view of the falls while going or returning back via Jeep. For the train route view of the falls, you have to board some trains only. And for that I have some tricky idea that if you want you can follow. At one side of the Dudhsagar falls there is Kulem station and at another site there is Castle Rock station. And there are many short and long route trains (train no. 12779, 17022, 17420, 18048, 11098) which stops at both of these stations. So as per your time availability and date, check which trains are passing by the way. And then if you want, just take a general ticket and board any train passing from kulem and go till castle Rock station. Thus you will get the train view of Dudhsagar falls, and similarly check for some other train from Castle Rock station and again return back to Kulem. (But before doing this, properly check the towards and return train timing with their actual status and make sure that you have the trains from both the sides at proper time then only go for this, or else returning back will be an issue). So that's the small idea i felt to share with you in order to get the train view look of the Dudhsagar falls. Please reply back for any further clarification. Thank you Wilson ☺️✌👍🏼
Dudhsagar falls kabhi dry nahi hota hai. Apko iss falls me pure saal water-flow milega. Monsoon me zyada flow rahega, summer me kam aur baki time normal. Mera vist bhi January k end me hi tha. Isliye mere video me apko jitna water flow dikh raha hai.. utna level ka water rahega. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Yes, the jeeps will be available. Generally there is no specific month or time when the jeeps are not operational. Only in case of flood or some other natural calamity only the Jeep rides can be affected.
Not sure aparna. But wild life sanctuary hai to internal jungle safari tour and all to zaroor honge. But they doesn't operate from the waterfall jeep counter of Kulem. You can ask in that counter and get more details. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Two adults and two kids if they charge 2000x4=8000 then it's too costly. If they charge only for two adults then it's fine. Alternatively if you both adults know to ride two wheeler, then just hire two bikes and proceed. Or another option is to just hire a 4 wheeler and proceed. Or finally the cheapest mode is the train option which I mentioned in the video. Thank you 🙂👍
Except for Jeep, the railway track is the only option to trek till the falls. But it's risky.. And by trekking route you can only see the falls closely, but by this route you cannot get down to the bottom part of the falls for swimming. Thank you 😊👍
Hi Rishap, Yes, the falls is normally open throughout the year. But only if there is extreme rainfall or very over flooded water level, in that situation sometimes the rides get paused for short time for safety reasons. Thank you 😊👍
Yes, swimming is allowed under the waterfall. So if you know how to swim then you can enjoy in the fresh water stream even without life jacket. And if if you don't know swimming still you can get down in the water upto safer areas. (But the water will be very very chill, so i also thought of going into the water but after touching it, decided to stay back 😄) Thank you 😊👍🏼
Yes Bhushan ji, February month you can surely plan for Dudhsagar. In fact our Goa trip was also In the second week of February month only 😁 Thank you 😊👍
No, the jeeps will not keep any big luggage (trolley bags) except your normal shoulder bags or small ones But if you want to keep your big luggages, then I think in the booking counter they can keep it (not sure). Or in the car/bike parking you can request for it. Or best option is, there are many small shops, hotels and restaurants in that area, where you can have some small breakfast or snacks in the morning and request them to just keep the luggage for a few hours in their shops or Restaurants untill you are back from waterfalls visit. In this way I think you can easily manage to keep your luggage there and go for the visit. Hope this helps. Thank you 😊👍🏼
In madgaon you have plenty of hotel options. In my Goa tour video I mentioned all the hotels in detail. Please check the playlist link from the video description and see the Goa tour plan and tour budget video. You will get a clear idea of hotels. And Yes, in Kulem also hotel stays are available but limited. You will not get much option like North Goa or south Goa. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Jeep will take approximately 45 min to reach the falls and again 45 min for return journey. And they wait near the falls area for 2 hours approximately. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Hello Bipasha, Dudhsagar waterfall trips gets closed only during heavy monsoon for safety reasons. So the closing don't have a fixed date. It depends on how the monsoon arrives every year. (Generally in August September are the monsoon time in Goa) so it's better to enquire at that time first and then plan for the visit of the waterfall if you are planning during August. Thank you 😊👍
Hi is there any way to go by forest jeep and come back by train ,i mean can the forest jeep drop us to the station or can we hire our car to go to station ,as i really want to see the water fall from the train
No, the falls is in between forest area, and the stations are also in that range only. So from the falls area till the station there is no public transport available. Only from City area till kulem you can get private vehicle. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Ok thanks for your reply , sorry to bother you again and again, in reference to same i would like to know how far is kulem station from actual dudhsagar ,is dudhsagar between kulem and castle rock station nd how long does it take one way from kulem to castle rock station And can we request a couple of extra hour from the jeep driver to explore the train way aswell without rushing. We are happy to pay them extra but just really want to experience the view as we are travelling from uk
Dudhsagar falls is actually at a distance of approximately 10 to 12 km from Kulem. But it's a forest area without any proper road, so the forest jeep ride will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes. And yes the Dudhsagar falls is in between kulem and castle Rock. Kulem to Castle Rock train ride will take approximately 30 min because of hill and forest area. And you cannot request the jeep to go to the train track area because there is no road or possibility to go there for jeep or any two wheeler or four wheeler. Just DM me in my Insta account if you have any further query. Happy to help you. Thank you once again 😊👍🏼
Thank you brother for liking the video. Glad to hear that you found the video informative. Please feel free to reply back in case of any further query regarding your Goa trip. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Yes, the falls is normally open throughout the year. But only if there is extreme rainfall or very over flooded water level, in that situation sometimes the rides get paused for short time for safety reasons. Thank you 😊👍
If you plan for only one part of Goa, means only the North Goa or the South Goa then you will feel easy to cover up everything in 3 days. Or else to cover up entire south Goa North Goa and the Dudhsagar waterfall, you need at least 4 days or five days will be better. Thank you 😊👍
Yes, by two wheeler You can drive and come upto a point and from there you have to trek for butterfly beach. Or else you can come till palolem beach and from there you will get boat rides also to reach butterfly beach. Thank you 😊👍
Hi Debanjan, Currently for Dudhsagar jeep booking there is no online option. You have to reach Kulem and then book it manually from the counter only. Hope this helps. Thank you 😊👍
Currently it's the starting of monsoon, so there is not much rain in Goa. So now it should be open. By the way 0832 260 0075 this is the kulem jeep stand contact details. You can just check once by calling them before proceeding. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Hi Palash, I didn't see any cloakroom there. And it's a very small place so i am sure there will be no such facility. But if you want to keep your luggage, then you have few options that I think will work. 1. In the jeep booking counter request them, they can keep your luggage and help you. 2. Just have some snack or light food in the nearby hotels and then just tell them that you want to have lunch and other food too after returning back from falls trip, so just ask for a favour to keep your luggage in that place. 3. There are many parking place for two wheeler and four wheeler, just request them, or give them some 50 rupees or so and tell them that you don't want to park your vehicle but want them to keep your luggage. They will happily keep it. So these are some of the ideas which clicked in my mind as soon as I checked your comment. Hope any one of them will surely work. So just use this ideas and enjoy your trip. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Hi Video was quite helpful but i have heard that jeep safari opens by mid october i.e.after monsoon Any idea on this or else any alternate option as we are visiting in September end
Hi Raj, I am also not sure. I heard that the jeeps generally operate unless there is heavy rainfall. By the way 0832 260 0075 this is the kulem jeep stand contact details. You can just check once by calling them before proceeding. Thank you 😊👍🏼
The jeep rote is under forest department. So there treak is not allowed via that route. Taking jeep is the only option there. You can't even take your personal vehicle. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Similar way the local train starts from Kulem station in the evening and reaches Madgaon and other places of Goa within around one hour. So you can take that option. Return Train details also I have mentioned in the end part of the video. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Not sure my friend. Election in Goa in on 7th May. So due to it "code of conduct" is applied in Goa. So after 7th I think normally things will operate as usual. Just check with your hotel reception and then proceed for Dudhsagar. Thus you will get the exact current information. Thank you 😊👍🏼
I visited the till Kulem by our rented scooty. And after that the fall visit via sharing Jeep and all other expenses was costing us at that time 670 rupees per adult. Thank you 😊👍🏼
No Aashish. After Kulem till Dudhsagar it's a forest area and no vehicles are allowed except the jeeps which are operated by the authorised association people and forest department. So you have to take those jeeps only for the Dudhsagar visit. And some people do teak but as I mentioned it's not recommended at all.. Thank you 😊👍🏼
One more question. If I take a Jeep from Kulem, will I be able to visit the railway bridge. How long does it take if I trek from the parking lot to the bridge?
No you cannot visit the bridge if you go via jeep. You can only see the bridge from a distance. By treak don't go. It's not recommended. You have to treak almost 7km and it will take 2 to 3 hours one way.. and again same time for return. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Hi Falgun, If you are planning for 5 days, then you can spend 2 days in north Goa and 2 days in south Goa and one day you can visit this Dudhsagar Waterfall... Please check the below video link for complete tour itinerary & budget details:- ruclips.net/video/ZRRHUrJvSdQ/видео.html Thank you ...!!
If u want to go by bus, you have to split and travel. From Madgaon you will get bus till "Ponda" and then from Ponda you will get another bus till Kulem. So the bus route is not recommended and the bus frequency is also less. Thank you ..!!
For Dudhsagar visit you have to reach till Kulem. After that you have to go via jeeps operated by the forest department. So just search for "Kulem railway station" in G-Map and that will be the exact location till where you can reach by navigating. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Bro... I have some doubts. U said every day 7.30am train starts from Vasco Da gama. But it dint show in IRCTC website. So how can I book ticket? Is it on time arrival at Kulem? Pls clarify, thanks in advance
Hi Rajvi, The 7:30 train is a passenger train (just like a local train) so you will not get a reservation booking for it. Just get a local ticket from the counter and get into the train. Hardly it's a 1:30 hours journey. Thank you 😊👍🏼
Hello Lucy, For Dudhsagar falls there is not much trek. After getting down from zeep, there are approximately 50 to 80 flat steps that you have to travel down and again climb up while returning. So if that is ok, then senior citizens can go. (Unfortunately there is no wheelchair option or any other facility for senior citizens) Thank you 😊👍🏼
hi thanks for good information. from baga to Dudhsagar (kulem) self car drive is safe? any website to book online ticket booking for dudhsagar water fall? we can book any particular time slat at time of booking.? is any travel agency just take us only dudhsagar and back to hotel instead of other sightseen? please guide thanks..
Hi Ankit, Thanks for liking the video.. Surely I will try to answer your queries.. 1. Yes it is totally safe to drive between baga and Kulem. Roads are proper without any pot holes and the route is safe too. Many people use this route in bikes and cars even in the late night.. 2. As per my knowledge there is no website for online booking of the zeep ride. So there is no option for slot booking and all. 3. If you ask me about any travel agency, then almost every tour company can provide you this package. Just they will provide a car with the driver, who can take you till the Kulem jeep point and the driver will bring a ticket on behalf of you from the same counter and handover it to you and then you can enjoy the waterfall view. Till that time the driver will wait there and finally you can return back in the same car. So I feel this will be an unnecessary waste of money for no reason at all. Thank you ☺️👍
Hi, ur information of Dudhsagar waterfall was very much usefull in our journey 2 days back. After visiting to Dudhsagar we gone to Jila. The experience there was absolutely unexpected. The lady owners were absolutely rude & the behaviour was much unexpected. Also the item v took eclares was really poor in taste. This place is useless & worthless visiting like their product.
Hi Sachin, Thanks for your comment. Great to hear that you liked the Dudhsagar falls visit. But at the same time its shocking to hear that the Jilla bakery experience was not as expected. Anyhow it's learning for us as well a new update for all our viewers. Thanks for acknowledging the same 😊👍🏼
No sure brother.. I think it's not closed. The Jeep ride is still operating. Because I checked some videos just now, where they have uploaded it just three to four weeks back and also mentioned that they made that trip in in the end of Feb 2023 Thank you ☺️✌️
1000 kaise Bhai..? Pura calculation ka ek ek cheez split kar k bataya hai video me. Abhi sharing jeep ka ya kisi aur cheez ka rate badh gaya hai kya? If Yes, then please mention. It will help other viewers also. And thank you for acknowledging this.😊👍
3500 rupees nahi bhai. Total 7 person jayenge to per person 500 hi lagega. Aur 11 km walk Kam nahi hota hai, wo bhi railway track se aur jungle k rasthe se. It's risky too.. Aur iss treak me subha se shaam ho jayega jakar return wapas aane me.

I mean i want to go to dudhsagar by jeep and avoid walking on track and through tunnel as we have kids also with us ,but then expirence the view by train also ,in that case are we allowed to take the pictures for a little while on the actual track near the falls
Hi Wilson,
If you travel via Jeep then you will not even pass through the train track area, so you will not get the train view of the falls while going or returning back via Jeep.
October end dudhsagar mein water milega??
Dudhsagar falls kabhi dry nahi hota hai. Apko iss falls me pure saal water-flow milega.
Monsoon me zyada flow rahega, summer me kam aur baki time normal.
Mera vist bhi January k end me hi tha. Isliye mere video me apko jitna water flow dikh raha hai.. utna level ka water rahega.
Thank you 😊👍🏼
Government Jeeps available on July during rainy season ?
Yes, the jeeps will be available.
Generally there is no specific month or time when the jeeps are not operational. Only in case of flood or some other natural calamity only the Jeep rides can be affected.
Wild life sanctuary me ghum sakte hai kya?
Not sure aparna. But wild life sanctuary hai to internal jungle safari tour and all to zaroor honge. But they doesn't operate from the waterfall jeep counter of Kulem.
You can ask in that counter and get more details.

Bhai rainy season me band rehta hi....
Yes during extreme rains, the service remains closed for a few days.
Hi bro there are packages for 1999 per head feom baga is this worth or taking bike or car rental is best..
For 2 adults and 2 kids aged 10 and 5
Two adults and two kids if they charge 2000x4=8000 then it's too costly.
If they charge only for two adults then it's fine.
Alternatively if you both adults know to ride two wheeler, then just hire two bikes and proceed.
Or another option is to just hire a 4 wheeler and proceed.
Or finally the cheapest mode is the train option which I mentioned in the video.
Thank you 🙂👍
Jeep nahi Lena chahta hu me terna or ghumna tracking kaise kar sakte hu
Except for Jeep, the railway track is the only option to trek till the falls. But it's risky..
And by trekking route you can only see the falls closely, but by this route you cannot get down to the bottom part of the falls for swimming.
Thank you 😊👍
Rainy season me open rahta hai kya ?
18 July ko open rahega ?
Hi Rishap,
Yes, the falls is normally open throughout the year.
But only if there is extreme rainfall or very over flooded water level, in that situation sometimes the rides get paused for short time for safety reasons.
Thank you 😊👍
@@TravelYatraVlog may I swim inside the water with life jacket in that situation
Yes, swimming is allowed under the waterfall. So if you know how to swim then you can enjoy in the fresh water stream even without life jacket. And if if you don't know swimming still you can get down in the water upto safer areas.
(But the water will be very very chill, so i also thought of going into the water but after touching it, decided to stay back 😄)

No Aparna,
There is no hotel near the waterfall area.
It's a restricted area which falls under the forest department.

Can we book kulem to vasco passenger train directly from station?
Yes, you can get an unreserved ticket for the passenger train from the station itself.
Thank you 😊👍🏼
@@TravelYatraVlog Thank you! Very Informative video! Keep up good work!!
Can we keep our travel luggages in jeep only??
No, the jeeps will not keep any big luggage (trolley bags) except your normal shoulder bags or small ones
But if you want to keep your big luggages, then I think in the booking counter they can keep it (not sure).

Hi Mukesh,
Gokarna is towards extreme south of Goa. But Dudhsagar fall is not towards that.
It is nearly towards Mollem or Dandeli..

Bro ,please advise if any is any stay option at Kulem or madgoan
In madgaon you have plenty of hotel options. In my Goa tour video I mentioned all the hotels in detail. Please check the playlist link from the video description and see the Goa tour plan and tour budget video. You will get a clear idea of hotels.
And Yes, in Kulem also hotel stays are available but limited. You will not get much option like North Goa or south Goa.

Kulem se kitna time lagta by zip DS ghum k ane k liye
Jeep will take approximately 45 min to reach the falls and again 45 min for return journey. And they wait near the falls area for 2 hours approximately.

It will be open in August?
Hello Bipasha,
Dudhsagar waterfall trips gets closed only during heavy monsoon for safety reasons.
So the closing don't have a fixed date. It depends on how the monsoon arrives every year.
(Generally in August September are the monsoon time in Goa) so it's better to enquire at that time first and then plan for the visit of the waterfall if you are planning during August.
Thank you 😊👍
Hi is there any way to go by forest jeep and come back by train ,i mean can the forest jeep drop us to the station or can we hire our car to go to station ,as i really want to see the water fall from the train
no, the jeep will give you only round trip from kulem to falls and again to kulem. it will not drop you anywhere in between the forest.😊
In that case is there any way to catch a private taxi from dudhsagar to the train station
No, the falls is in between forest area, and the stations are also in that range only. So from the falls area till the station there is no public transport available. Only from City area till kulem you can get private vehicle.
Thank you 😊👍🏼
Ok thanks for your reply , sorry to bother you again and again, in reference to same i would like to know how far is kulem station from actual dudhsagar ,is dudhsagar between kulem and castle rock station nd how long does it take one way from kulem to castle rock station
And can we request a couple of extra hour from the jeep driver to explore the train way aswell without rushing.

2 night 3day goa tour possible? Pls reply
If you plan for only one part of Goa, means only the North Goa or the South Goa then you will feel easy to cover up everything in 3 days. Or else to cover up entire south Goa North Goa and the Dudhsagar waterfall, you need at least 4 days or five days will be better.

Where is the online link for jeep booking?
Hi Debanjan,
Currently for Dudhsagar jeep booking there is no online option. You have to reach Kulem and then book it manually from the counter only.
Hope this helps.
Thank you 😊👍
Is it open today 30 June ?? Can I go there ? Please confirm
Currently it's the starting of monsoon, so there is not much rain in Goa. So now it should be open.

You can just check once by calling them before proceeding.

Is there any facility for clock rooms/luggage room in kulem
Hi Palash,
I didn't see any cloakroom there.

Return usi deen kese ane ka fir ?
Similar way the local train starts from Kulem station in the evening and reaches Madgaon and other places of Goa within around one hour. So you can take that option. Return Train details also I have mentioned in the end part of the video.

Thanks alot ..but in between June 5 to June 10 .., government authorized taxis as well as legally we can go to dudhsagar ?
Not sure my friend. Election in Goa in on 7th May. So due to it "code of conduct" is applied in Goa. So after 7th I think normally things will operate as usual.
Just check with your hotel reception and then proceed for Dudhsagar. Thus you will get the exact current information.

Is it safe n ok to travel. By train.
Yes Lucy,
By train it's very safe to travel. Mostly locals travel via this mode on daily basis.

Are there local buses from Kulem to Dudhsagar?
No Aashish. After Kulem till Dudhsagar it's a forest area and no vehicles are allowed except the jeeps which are operated by the authorised association people and forest department.
So you have to take those jeeps only for the Dudhsagar visit.
And some people do teak but as I mentioned it's not recommended at all..
Thank you 😊👍🏼
Thanks so much for your help, really appreciated!

Bus nhi jati kya local
If u want to go by bus, you have to split and travel.
From Madgaon you will get bus till "Ponda" and then from Ponda you will get another bus till Kulem.
So the bus route is not recommended and the bus frequency is also less.
Thank you ..!!
This waterfall location address mention
For Dudhsagar visit you have to reach till Kulem. After that you have to go via jeeps operated by the forest department.
So just search for "Kulem railway station" in G-Map and that will be the exact location till where you can reach by navigating.
Thank you 😊👍🏼
Bro... I have some doubts. U said every day 7.30am train starts from Vasco Da gama. But it dint show in IRCTC website. So how can I book ticket? Is it on time arrival at Kulem? Pls clarify, thanks in advance
Hi Rajvi,
The 7:30 train is a passenger train (just like a local train) so you will not get a reservation booking for it. Just get a local ticket from the counter and get into the train. Hardly it's a 1:30 hours journey.
Thank you 😊👍🏼
@@TravelYatraVlog thank you Bro. It helps me alot.
What about senior citizens.
Hello Lucy,
For Dudhsagar falls there is not much trek. After getting down from zeep, there are approximately 50 to 80 flat steps that you have to travel down and again climb up while returning. So if that is ok, then senior citizens can go. (Unfortunately there is no wheelchair option or any other facility for senior citizens)
Thank you 😊👍🏼
Another quick question how far is kulem train station from the jeep stand
At Walkable distance. Hardly 200 meters.
hi
thanks for good information.
from baga to Dudhsagar (kulem) self car drive is safe?
any website to book online ticket booking for dudhsagar water fall?
we can book any particular time slat at time of booking.?
is any travel agency just take us only dudhsagar and back to hotel instead of other sightseen?
please guide
thanks..
Hi Ankit,
Thanks for liking the video..
