She's 100% right. I've got a autistic workmate and he's really smart and I've noticed that he doesn't do well when you just throw a unfamiliar task at him but he does do extremely well when his jobs are in a checklist kind of way and yes I agree that he might take a little longer at doing his job but I trust him because he does his job 100% perfect. All the little things counts too.

I’m in my 40s and very likely on the spectrum. I was introduced to Dr. Grandin’s work during my years in the horse world. I relate to so much of what she says, and I hope for the day when people like us are better understood and treated equitably.

Temple's insights could revolutionize education if the world at large would just listen. The pilot's checklist format she talked about would save so much trouble if used on mass. She's nothing short of brilliant.

I've just watched movie at school about her 20's when she was in college, and it was really cool the way she saw the world and figured out designs for agriculture.

Temple has opened my eyes to so many behaviors that made me “weird” and “strange” and made me realize what I truly am and i am so happy to have the tools and methods of coping that she mentions to be a better father to my son now i have words to explain to people how i felt and the potential of my son feeling the same way and i can now help my som to understand how to be comfortable in this world i have watched the movie about her when i was younger and always thought about it it wasnt until recently i rediscovered temple and have been so appropriative for that

I think that temple grandin should be on sesame street and alma's way because i write Maria Rodriguez played by sonia Manzano about how totally cool and awesome temple grandin is and sonia Manzano loved my suggestion for her alma's way episodes she's working on featuring temple grandin.

@@emilyashley4820 I've researched it. There is nothing conclusive, but there are studies about eye color it as it relates to melanin and oxytocin. But i've seen a definite pattern.

@@confusedman8065 Everybody's eye color is due to genetics. This question was specifically about autiism & eye color.
