Definitely NOT a wasteland‼ What a gorgeous Canyon‼ Chris, thank you so much for sharing your video(s), You have added so many places I now would like to hike❗ Awesome video, ❤Utah ❤ your viddeso❗
Oh my goodness, I'm deathly afraid of heights 😳 I would have been frozen not able to move; the only movement from me would have been my body shaking so bad that I would probably fall off. "Not kidding." I actually felt it when you turned the camera around to show off of the edge where you were climbing up lol you said you can't tell how far it is on camera that it was probably about 300 hundred feet, but I could definitely see how far it was. I was getting worried for you; actually, I was nervous like I was there. "EEK! Wow. When I was younger, I was never afraid of heights. I became afraid of heights after the birth of my first child. Crazy right bahahaha. But thank you for sharing this wonderfully awesome place. I would have never been able to see it otherwise, so Thank you 😊 bunches. You're Awesome. Hugs🤗
Wow that was some hike up that cliff edge, all uphill in winter is pretty brave of you Christ. At first it looked like some figure emerged from that creek at 5:53 timestamp but realized it a tall grass blade or something. This is little break from the scary bigfoot stories, those are fabulous don't get me wrong. But that has spectacular views in Utah for sure. You are like a sure-footed mountain goat!
I'm really glad you're doing videos in this area because that's an area I need to explore more. I've only been to Kodacrome Basin, Wilits Creek Narrows and Escalante Petrified Forest State Park. Looks awesome so far!
Thanks Eric! ( and Melissa ) Those are great places to visit ( I really like Willis Creek!....there is much to see in the Paria/ Hackberry canyon/ Cockscomb Road area ...I'll be going back in April!!
There is a direct access trail to Yellow Rock that come right out of Cottonwood Wash if you just head downstream from Hackberry and then turn right up the first drainage. There is also an old cattle trail route that goes up out of Paria if you just hike up the Paria slot a little ways. arizjones.blogspot.com/2010/10/yellow-rock-and-hackberry-canyon-utah.html
Another fabulous post! Glad to see you get away from the edge of that huge ledge! Thank you for mentioning the idiot idea to do mining in the area. Hopefully that is now a stupid idea of the past.
Mining and minerals are important, all that stuff you are using to film your videos comes from mining and minerals. Its not just magic that shows up from amazon. Just saying

Talked about it, but did he? People can change. Write him a letter. Share this video with him. Be proactive. You can still call him names.
