They are one of the best for sure. Better than Van Halen, Led Zeppelin or Hendrix? I will diplomatically say that the jury is still out on that question. I certainly would not turn down a chance to see ACDC though...

I bought Back in Black in 1980 when it first came out, I was ten years old and couldn't wait to get home to drop the needle on the vinyl. The first song was Hells Bells, it blew my mind. Every song on that album is killer and no filler. Check out 'What do you do for money honey' 'Let me put my love into you' 'Shoot to thrill' ..... heck just do them all. Go hard fellas
I was in middle school people just don't understand how hard this song hit after years of disco and mellow tunes of the 70s.
Just the samedi..👍 I was 12 at that time and my mom was upset about me listen ni ac dc..she thought it was devil s music !😮
This song and album was a tribute to their previous singer, Bon Scott who died of alcohol poisoning, months before this album came out. In 2003, the band were inducted to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
You should see one of their videos Live at River Plate 2009. They're in their late 50s and early 60s but the crowd is wild. Check it out! ✌

Saw them probably half a dozen times in the 70s and been to over 200 other concerts all together. One night at Market Square arena, they were playing and all of a sudden, Angus gets on someone's shoulders, while playing his guitar, and they proceeded to come off the stage and walk around the entire arena on the half way up walkaround, with a spotlight on them, jammin the whole way. I dont remember alot of all those shows, but that night is still clear as day. Concert was like 6.50 and festival seating. It's good to be 60..

LOL! I can't help but laugh watching Angus either. And yes, he and his brother Malcom (on guitar the other side) wrote most, if not all of their tunes ------ Beyond talented, them two. (RIP Mal)
Dudes, are you aware that this was the first album after the original singer died? His name was Bon Scott and according to Brian this album was for Bon and this track in particular was about Bon.
Honestly fam I had no idea. Personally never heard or knew about that happening, as far I knew this is the original band. Definitely appreciate the history on them and the feedback……Rob 🔒
@@Roblockdn Check out their song Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap or It's A Long Way to the Top for classic ACDC with Bon Scott. The second of those two tracks features the most blistering bag pipe solo in rock and roll... Okay it is the ONLY bag pipe solo in rock and roll as well. Seriously, a really good song due in large part to the vocals.

@@Roblockdn I actually do. It's a def Leppard song not to many recommend but I think it's Thier best song. Early stuff. Die hard the Hunter. Also I have a request if you could get to it. It's called they call me doc by walker mcquire. It's the only song I've heard that sums up what it's like to be a corspman in the navy. Thank you.
