My take away from this song, it reminds me of a group of misfits that never truly reconciled with their past. Finally realizing these broken people are not alone, they regain hope to help one another. The story of a fallen soldier or a person who can't walk meeting and relating to one another in a level the everyday person couldn't understand. They end up deciding to come together and bring light to the normally dark scenarios they experienced, beginning the, "Anthem for the Broken." That's my opinion on the song, I am relieved to finally see it be released! Hope everyone is staying safe and continues to listen to badass music. Thank you to all the nurses selflessly risking their lives to protect us. You are heroes.

I think of this song like the anthem before a baseball game. the people in the stands are the broke people while the players are the things that make them broken. the pitcher is Expectations. The feilders are Lies, Betrayal, Trust Issues, etc. The batters are Relationships, Parents, Fake Friends, etc. The coaches yell the whole time throughout the game, which are Dreams, and Prayers. They turn out to not be real and when you approach them they disappear.
