I think the reason you get the bug is more of rendering distance. The pawnshop stop rendering once it is out of your radius, making it stop it's operation.

I wonder if you try opening and closing the shop, or disabling auto sales and enabling it, if it will resolve the glitch of not selling items

I found restarting the game every morning gets rid of the bug where the shop doesn’t sell

When selling at pawn shop, don't have the park by yellow area, can just pull up to front and don't even have the have it in bed
