I love this message of love. The emotions from love are sometimes so strong they become scary. Scared to be vulnerable, scared of being hurt, scared of being taken advantaged of. And sometimes, love brings up a lot of our triggers. The immediate response of some people is to walk away from the uncertainty and discomfort; walk away from a loved one. However, sometimes you gotta hang on to your love and trust and believe that if both partners are committed, you can get through the discomfort and the love also gets stronger. Thank you, Sade.

I was wondering if anyone else caught the lyrics of the song and how it relates to the show “in heavens name why are you walking away, hang onto your love” definitely seems like someone picked this song with that in mind, Jeffrey didn’t want his victims to leave him and wanted to always keep them with him. In his twisted mind, that was his way of hanging onto their love.

Sade is one of the best kept secrets in music . Her tracks sound even better today than than they did close to 40 yrs ago. Class never goes out of style.
I hadn't heard this song before until my girlfriend performed it for me singing and playing piano. She had her own arrangement of it keeping that cool bassline with her left hand and playing chords with the right. I was blown away. We do a version now with her on piano and me guitar, awesome song!!!

I'v ejust heard this song for the first time today. I'm 16, this song came out 13 years before I was born. I ain't gonna say that I was born in the wrong era or something like that - every era is correct to enjoy such a masterpeice as this. Powerful, groovy, smooth, and most importantly, beautiful music from the one and only Sade.

They are both so good , very different and unique. Folasade has a deep voice compared to other female artists, and Michael has a high pitch voice for a man and it works out well for them. I love artists like them and for example Erykah Badu, D’angelo or Stevie wonder they are all so different. Today’s music honestly all sounds the same , everyone is trying to look the same and act the same wear the same trendy clothes.
