FY1: In 1895 Shivkar Bapuji Talpade manufactured a flight 9 years before the wright brothers.

There is a claim that Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, an Indian scholar, constructed and flew an unmanned, heavier-than-air aircraft named Marutsakha in 1895, eight years before the Wright brothers’ flight. However, this claim is not well-documented, and there is a lack of reliable historical evidence to confirm the success of his flight.
Talpade’s work was reportedly influenced by ancient Indian texts and the Vaimanika Shastra, a Sanskrit text on aeronautics. Despite the intriguing nature of these claims, they remain a topic of debate and are not widely recognized in the scientific community.

The Ancient Indian contribution to Mathematics is not just limited to "zero".
Here I'm just limiting to contributions in Mathematics field alone. There is more than "zero" that our ancient ancestors invented or contributed to in ancient times.... And how scientific friendly our culture was...
India didn't just invent zero... But unfortunately even Indians today only know about the "zero" discovery fact, when there are so many other things invented here in India during ancient times.
Inventions: Binary system (basis for computers), decimal system, basis for numerals, trigonometry(sine, cosines, inv sine, etc. ..), geometry (quadrilaterals, ellipses, olane geometry , solid geometry, Pythagoras theorem, Etc), Algebra (linear, quadratic equations, squares, cubes, Roots, higher order equations and solutions etc ), Calculus (differentiation and integration, etc), , power series, basis of Fibonocci series, dealing with infinities (limits), super large numbers (10^12 or more), factorials, spherical trigonometry, continued fractions, Arithmetic, negative numbers, zero (not just the symbol, but the conceptual basis for its usage in binary, negative numbers etc.) , combinatorics (permutations and combinations used in Chandas shastra), solutions to combinations, infinite series, mathematical induction, etc etc. I forgot to mention "Vedic mathetics techniques for calculations...
All of these are just in mathematics, i didn't even touch other fields like high precision astronomy, medicine, surgery, etc.
And all these texts inspired the arabic Mathematicians, who further developed them , refined them, which entered later into Europe opening the doors to modern mathematicians who reinvented everything or some developed new concepts based on existing ones at that time, or some built upon what was existing refining them Further.
I just wanted to give more info on contribution to mathematics by ancient Indians which are not known to many even indians and they keep on repeating that we invented "zero" not knowing what do invention of "zero" mean as a conceptual idea,... Let qlone many Indians totally unaware of our ancient scientists and mathematicians like Aryabhatta, Bhaskaracharya, Pingala, Sulbha, Varahamihira, Bhrahmagupta, Sushruta, Shridhara, and many more brilliant minds and pioneers.
There was a thriving mathematical and scientific community, in India from 1200 BCE (known so far) to 15th century (till full scale invasion and oppression), where people of different times published their books, theories, etc and people further down the time period would build upon this previous knowledge, give further proofs, disprove and improve previous knowledge etc, which took place over 2 millennia. Which is in no way different from modern day scientific publishing and improvement of techniques.
Yet no one is aware of this fact, even many Indians are not aware of it, and they only know about "Zero" that too superficially.
Just go through the Wikipedia page "Indian Mathematics" and read through it. It's decently well documented different stages, different people, different fields of contributions, etc. it may not give full details, but it's still a good starting point to know the basics of it.
The Eurocentric scientific community never acknowledging the contributions of the predecessors continued on to become the representation what we think of science in general perception, in modern times.
Just forgot to include the following contributions by ancient Indians in the list: cryptography, multilingual cryptic messages using numerical grids, Algorithmic approach of decoding, decrypting the codes, Efficient knowledge transfer through using minimum data (kind of primitive data compression algorithms), First infinite series to represent a finite quantity such as 'PI', etc...
Being a student of science, and being an Indian, I myself am knowing these details recently which very late unfortunately, and majority don't know anything about it as no one speaks about it or acknowledges them, or just construes everything from ancient India as "religion", "superstitions", "pseudo science" etc.

The term “Hindu” is not found in the ancient Hindu scriptures. The word “Hindu” is believed to have originated from the Persian word “Hind,” which referred to the land beyond the Indus River (Sindhu in Sanskrit). This term was used by Persians and later by Greeks to describe the people living in that region.
    Key Points:
    Ancient Texts:
The ancient Hindu scriptures, such as the Vedas, Upanishads, and the epics like the Mahabharata and Ramayana, do not mention the word "Hindu".
These texts refer to the land and people using terms like “Bharata” and “Aryavarta.”
    Historical Usage:
The term “Hindu” was first used by Persians around the 6th century BCE to describe the people living around the Indus River.
It was later adopted by other cultures and eventually came to be associated with the religious and cultural practices of the people in the Indian subcontinent.
    Modern Context:
The term “Hinduism” as a unified religious identity was developed much later, particularly during the British colonial period, to categorize the diverse religious practices and beliefs in India.

Even religion Hinduism started long way before Islam and Christianity.
Hinduism more than 14000 years old ,whereas Christianity and Islam is just 2000years old...Hinduism is way way ahead and advanced than these both religion.

The term “Hinduism” is relatively modern and was coined by British writers in the early 19th century to describe the diverse religious, cultural, and philosophical traditions of the Indian subcontinent.
Before this, the practices and beliefs now associated with Hinduism were referred to by various names and were often identified by specific sects or philosophical schools.
      Key Points:
      Exonym:
The word “Hindu” itself is an exonym, derived from the Persian term “Sindhu,” which referred to the people living beyond the Indus River.
The term “Hinduism” was used to categorize the wide array of practices, beliefs, and traditions found in India.
      Diverse Traditions:
Hinduism is not a single, unified religion but a compilation of various traditions, philosophies, and practices. It includes a range of beliefs from polytheism to monotheism, and even atheism.
Major sects within Hinduism include Shaivism, Vaishnavism, Shaktism, and Smartism, each with its own deities, rituals, and philosophies.
      Ancient Roots:
The roots of what is now called Hinduism can be traced back to the Indus Valley Civilization (around 2300 BCE to 1500 BCE) and the Vedic period.
Despite the modern term, the practices and beliefs have ancient origins and have evolved over thousands of years.
While the term “Hinduism” is modern, the traditions and practices it encompasses are ancient and deeply rooted in the history of the Indian subcontinent.
