As a lifelong conchologist I have long appreciated the amazing reefs there. If it weren't for restrictions I would book a trip there in a New York Minute
When you said you were on the south side of the island the first time I’d say it was the north eastern side. Or the north part of the eastern side. Low tide there is a neat place to explore
Thanks for pointing that out! It's always great to have viewers who pay attention to the details. The north eastern side sounds like a fun place to explore during low tide!
@@luvmy32000 They are memories I will keep forever , 55 years later I still have things from there within my sight everyday and the newer videos often bring tears of happy times
Their custom is a little different. Chamorro’s are beautiful people. My gramp said Spanish women are the most beautiful people in the World. I guess that’s why Chamorro’s are beautiful. They don’t look native, but have beautiful European features.
I did a scrap metal and contaminated soil excavation project there about 4 years ago. You were likely there for work as this is a government secured island. This isn't an island you can visit unless you have a government sponsor and a reason to be there. The reason no one is around is becuase everyone is at work. It was pretty explicit that people don't film this Island. This location is formally the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense test site.
Dude, absolutely no one around Where is everybody? Don't they like to go outside? You have the whole island to yourself. Never saw the runway nor any WWII stuff. Nice video though.
Even though I know I can walk around all over in my little swimsuit, what about other places for the Transgender, Crossdressers to go swimming or sunbathing? Also is there a women's only swim club? How Do I book a vacation? I'll have to get a new swimsuit for the scuba diving and snorkeling though
??? I really just don't understand the question. your question about "what about other places for the transgender, crossdressers to go swimming or sunbathing?" really is out of context. this is a video about a short tour around the island. not about gender or sexual issues. I think you may have misinterpreted the point of this video.
@@luvmy32000 I was actually being sarcastic LOL , There wasn't really a question. In todays climate, everything is about transgenderism, racism of being Black or feeling uncomfortable about everything.

It's wonderful to hear how much you appreciate the reefs! They really are a treasure for conchologists and nature lovers alike.
Breathtaking for sure!!Scuba diving right there Wow Just biking around town lol love it Enjoyed it Kevin
Scuba diving? Nah, just biking around town with a snorkel! Glad you loved it
Sure miss living there! Hope to make it back one day.
I hope so too!
Everyone riding bikes, jets at supersonic overhead all the time, beach 30 ft from the back door. That island spoiled me as a kid.
Man, those were the days, huh? Miss that island life.
Me too. David Spillman, was age 16, 1970
Nice to see not as polluted with plastic….like most islands
Thanks for the shoutout! We're doing our part to keep the island pristine.

I spent ten years playing on kwaj. My dad didn't like me bringing home live WW 2 But I did anyways. Still have some old casings
It's interesting to hear about your experiences on Kwaj! Those old casings must bring back some memories.

Thank you for sharing such heartfelt sentiments! It means so much to know that the videos evoke such cherished memories.
Breathtaking! How big is this island?
it's not very big. it's an atoll. so it's maybe 2 miles long by 1/2 mile wide...
1.2 sq miles. 3.6x1/2mile
Is it always windy?
The wind can be quite unpredictable!
Can we take a picture of Kwajalein
Of course, but be warned, the beauty of Kwajalein might just break your camera!

Do you have internet signal there?
Yup, got great internet signal here!

That's really interesting! It sounds like you have firsthand experience with the island's history and operations. Thanks for sharing your insights!
What is it you're blurring out?
it's top secret.... I could tell you but then.....
my beach
it really does feel like your own private beach sometimes!!!
You should post a video of Ebeye instead.
I appreciate your suggestion. I'll definitely consider making a video of Ebeye in the future.

It seems like everyone took the “staycation” trend a bit too seriously on this island! Guess I'll have to bring the party next time!
where is all the trash? did you censor the bad stuff?
Nope, I just swept it all under the rug! Just kidding, I like to keep things tidy around here.
America’s radioactive ghetto in the middle of the Pacific. Tourists don’t see that side of Kwajalein.
It's important to shed light on the lesser-known aspects of places like Kwajalein.
Idk why you hating outside the club. You can’t get in 😂😂
