I was the 6th sub. I'm on this journey with you. It's therapy to listen and to understand from your perspective. My husband used to gamble on E-sports during covid. I played online card and casino games. Now it's worse since all the advertising gambling. Dec 1 better days ahead! I have the same feelings about all the money I lost.
I decided 1 december I'm done with alcohol. I just decided no stopping. I want to live to 1 Jan 2025 so i'm going to get off the booze. Going to get meds to help wean off the alcohol. No one will understand my struggles but since your brave to put yourself out to the world of strangers in the matrix. My motto is "I want to continue to live, but not this way."
You are not alone my friend. I have been struggling with gambling addiction especially sports betting. Sports betting are a lie! I no more believe these bloodsucking companies who are destroying people who are addicted. Keep strong my friend.
I've been following you not sure what subscriber I was but It was when you had under 20 so i'm glad your still at it. I dig for oil so I can't get on the internet except for the few days I have off. I'm going back to the videoes I missed and I'm giving up gambling on sports I was abe to use draftkings on the oil rigs but since they only give company phone to use so I'll be not able to gamble and it's so tough. just be minimal and you will be fine. you may actually live longer than most people. my great grandfather worked as a farmer his whole life until 65 and hes a 100 years old this year
Three things I know for sure about gambling addiction: 1. The big win of today is the big loss of tomorrow. Worst thing for an addicted person is winning as it will generate more new shame in the future. 2. No win is big enough for a seasoned gambler that it can cover his/her lifelong losses. 3. Willpower does not work. Society's ideas of willpower are pure poison as that idea will cause new shame in the future. Shame leads to chasing losses and to awareness-reducing activities such as drinking and yes, more gambling. The only way out of this poisonous shame and guilt is empathy. Empathy of others (join GA) and empathy with yourself. Whatever you do, stop beating yourself up and disciplining yourself. That's a terrible approach.
Its all manipulated, rigged, scripted ect,,,,,still fanboys and fangals are gambling on hope and they are relying on getting back to even. This sports gambling is going to destroy the american dreams for 80% of manipulated brainwashed information. And it's scripted so shows americans are suckers just like getting pig butchered but instead it's online sports butchering the fans.
You are spilling your secret life and that took responsibility and accepted the mistake and ready to write this chapter of giving up gambling. It's Day 1 ready to focus. My judgment for those that won't accept their struggles and have all the help and support they may need and won't ask for help or express their story because they think they will be judged, then it's too late. When I die, I have told the 1 person I trust to tell all the friends and family that show up, "he was not loved by all his family and friends that's a Lie and a sin and now you're all here Judging on all the why's."
@@Mike549ll whats so disappointing in your life that you have to act so ugly? get some friends, find a father figure and be better than this. whatever attention you need from others, you're not going to find it here.
I relapsed 3 times in my first month of detox of gambling and drinking. The next time it was 2 times then 1 time then weene'd myself off the addiction of both alcohol and gambling. This is your journey your the one in control that makes your own choices.
People that don't gamble on sports can't understand sometimes things that happen when money is involved! This is your story I don't think many people are gonna judge you.
I've gave up eating meat until 1 January 2025 then I'm going to allow myself to say I was able to keep that life changing goal for 30 days...I've got this but I believe the abiilty to listen to your story and journey is better than watching NFL so those that gamble that have to watch the RED zone channel, go ahead and watch 7 hours of this gambling journey to quit from the start of chapter 1 video 1. Next goal is to give up soda and chocolate. My journey is weight loss and improving my health with maintning lower cholosteral ect. So my that's my next goal. You have a different story but releatable feelings.
It was all planned during covid. Back to the future part 2. Since the over 60 age used to gamble with a local bookie is still there but not the next generation. This is all been planned. I asked 10 different people if the NFL is scripted, fixed and a story line like a once a week reality sports show. The all say yup it's all scripted and rigged and agree but will still talk about their parlays they almost won. WWE offers odds to bet on since it's for entertainment just like the NFL. There's a hero and a villian. Since gambling merged with draftkings it's just a reality show that people are gambling on and just like the slots they are rigged but there's that chance. It was designed for those that play lottery tickets and that hope and chance a $5 parlay will change their life but their existince is fraud.
Couldn't agree more. I've been saying this but ppl with low IQs won't see and believe sports are not real it's all scripted. Even live dealer online card games are not real cards. We went thru the crack epidemic, heroin epidemic and now this@@Akiko-w3p
Dont worry about it, thanks for you're honesty, its not easy They say you have to go back to being a baby and relearn finance responsibility. The only way i can deal is give my money to a family member to have until i need it for a bill. You'll be okay ❤
The algorithm blessed me with your channel today, happy to be the 207th sub and see the positive changes in your and your followers' lives! I'd like to believe that you're your own worst critic on the matter, and that you won't be judged for it. I'm not sure I want to completely quit gambling, personally, but I am trying to take a break and get back to a spot I'm more comfortable with. I know that I can have a lot of fun on a small budget, especially if it's a part of a road trip or something where I can keep myself occupied with other things along the way. That being said, it has turned into every few days figuring out some way to make a bet, and that _has_ done bad things for my financial state. I'm also 6 months sober from weed and alcohol. I think one of the biggest things that helps me on my journey is that each "relapse", which I find to be a bit of a gross word, isn't a personal failure, it's a new chance to start fresh. You're not a bad person for being imperfect, but can continue to improve, every day, every hour. When you recognize your triggers, and delve into why they make you feel a certain way, that is more therapeutic than taking a hit or sip or making a bet can ever be. As for the "if you're going to gamble, at least bet it on something real," I don't mean to overreach, but that sounds like that might be your own brain trying to justify the idea of gambling in general. I can very much resonate with that feeling; if I pull out some 20s and say I'm headed to the craps table so I can extend my playtime, then I'm down a G on a slot before I know it, I have the same feeling. But in reality, that's just a sign that my relationship with gambling isn't healthy. Anywho, best of luck (maybe poor phrasing 😅) on your journey, and I'm looking forward to following along!!
Hey man, its all good just dust yourself off and step back up, and try again. Its not going to be easy, but at least youre being honest with yourself. Big kudos for talking about this online, we'll get through our struggles one day at a time, one win at a time.

It's okay to admit you don't have control over something. You can get control over it. However much money you've lost at this point, you'll get it back in the future and more but not through gambling. It's got to come from getting well first and then the money comes back.

I bet on sports for a living using a betting system. I make 25k to 30k per month. It takes a lot of $ to do it and 25-30 sports books. Volunteer for some homeless shelter and help people do something for them. Stop focusing on yourself. There’s one thing that you have to learn, the more you focus on something the more you bring that thing to you. Stop saying gamble, and you will stop thinking about gambling. I know that sounds ridiculous and simple. But it’s kind of a well-known fact. It’s called The Secret. Read the book The Secret.
