    You should use teflon white grease PFPE PTFE (KRYTOX GPL 205 standard, or Grade 2). Don't use vaseline or derivatives from petrol! It will damage the plastic parts overtime! And then you have to replace the entire FATAR keybed by ordering a new one!

    Just a warning that I damaged several of the keys on my Nord Stage 2 removing them as shown here-according to the Nord-certified service center where I ended up having to take it, the keys are held in by a long metal bar that has to be slid out to the point where the problem key is located. They told me I was lucky I didn't destroy the keybed. If you want to learn to open the unit, this tutorial is fine, but unless you really know what you're risking I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you don't remove the keys like this.

    Hi, just a comment in case a simple fix is possible. I had a problem on a white key but was able to manipulate the key into position without opening up the unit. Simply the key had worked itself out of position in transit.

      yes i got my white key off from my electro 5hp out accidentally when i hit the key too strong. it will just bump in when you apply pressure. but in this case, the stage 2 key got stuck because of the friction caused by those rubber thing inside.

    Bonjour et merci pour ces conseils. J'ai remplacé facilement quelques touches blanches sur un nord piano. Pas besoin de dévisser la carte du circuit qui est plus petite que sur le nordstage. Juste 4 nappes à débrancher et toutes les vis intérieures et extérieures pour désolidariser complètement le clavier fatar du piano et intervenir sur les touches blanches. Une petite heure pour faire ça tranquillement et profitez-en pour nettoyer tout ça avant remontage !

    You dont have to open it up for this issue! If you press the key hard enought it will pop back in its 'socket'

    • @fuzzfizz
      @fuzzfizz 5 лет назад +3

      err sorry... the issue was the keys sticking when pressed, not key out of socket. did you even watch the video?
