That's pretty much how I feel. The shoulder-chest joints rotating laterally is much better than that weird ball joint thing from past figures. For me the only downside to the figure is how the shoulders attach to the torso because, like always, there's the gaps. And the accessories are all awesome but I would have loved an unmasked head and claw swipe feet.
I never expected Black Panther to be released already. Just recently got back into Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi with the new 52 Superman and I really loved their designs and articulations. What I really like is they include plenty of accessories too. Love your cat cameos too, great review as always!
This is one of the best black panther among 1/12 scale figure. Fantastic looking and crazy posing capacity. I do love this one. Thanks for great review. :)
The level of texture, and the dark plastic kind of reduces the eyesore of the sculpt breaking, looks like a stunner in posing. Been eying and this is probably pushing me over. Great showing.

If they ever release this in a black and gold version i'll 100% get it, as for now i don't really know, i'm not the biggest fan of the color scheme, but the figure itself does look fucking amazing.
No matter people could say, but amazing yamaguchi will be the future of action figure. Look the way this guys have improved since the deadpool 1.0. I remember I sold that figure because it looks so goofy for my, and now I am so damn exited about this black panther. People should have had more love for this line.
I'm not into Black Panther myself, but this is an amazing figure. Great articulation, great engineering, great aesthetic. I've so little interest in Black Panther as a character I couldn't fathom myself getting any figure of him at all, ever, and even I feel somewhat tempted to pick this guy up just for how good it is as a figure. Let's hope Revoltech/AY keeps it up because it feels like they're getting into their sweet spot.
@@Bane520 Yeah he can be a little finicky and it takes a bit of work for some poses but once u get it there man it looks amazing. Just gotta work with it. Overall I’m happy with it and have their new Spider-Man on PO.

I've owned several Revoltech and AmaYamaguchi throughout the years and I love them, however I kind of agree with you. believe the articulation is the source of both their greatest strength and weakness, not because of the learning curve but more because of the somewhat poor resistance the plastic offers. Even back in the days when they used the OG ratcheting Revo technology it was present. I know this is kinda of a "new" mold when it comes to joints since there are new neck and shoulder joints. Did you feel an adjustment in the overall tightness of all the joints or is it the same as their usual recent releases?

Great review as always! I have the revoltech Wolverine and hate it so much I swore I’d never buy another, but damn this one looks fun, not as much crazy articulation that just gets in the way. Quick question, out of the Revo, Mezco, Mafex and Sh, which is your fav BP? I have a Mafex one and love it but sadly his leg broke so I need to buy a new BP.
For me it seems like the Revo BP was shorter than the Legends but either was the same height or a little bit taller than the other BP figures. But other than that fire video 🔥

The real “panther king”… He will have his moment on camera! hahaha…. Blue is more comic accurate than MCU. Alone, it okay. But standing along there with the other brands, I prefer the black versions. Revoltech is great for posing, but does not look as good. But with him being a darker color, gaps and other flaws can be hidden/less obvious.
I dont really get the "exposed joints" critique. It is an articulated figure! No toy can fool me into realism becoz those joints will show. Aside from Hot toys skin tech, or the joints inside the cloth, but even then the articulation on those sucked real hard.

Happy they made the butterfly joints more forward rather then the weird up and down on some older revos.

Careful with those wrist pegs and the slashing claw hand, snapped my wrist peg smooth off.
Only one disappointment was the thinner wrist joints than Superman.
