It's definitely legit! Full size bottles were selling on Mercari in the US and a few people even reviewed it as well. Mona has also expressed personally to a a few people a bit of disappointment that the release was kind of spoiled, so that's just more confirmation. I was able to get a sample from someone who got their hands on a full bottle, and I am severely underwhelmed with it if I'm being honest. The notes had me thinking I was going to be in love, but nope lol. I don't get any of the cotton candy or marshmallow either! And the pistachio is much more in the background than I was expecting. I don't even really get anything boozy either. Just something vaguely nutty and sweet that comes off very generic. It also comes across the slightest bit soapy to me as well, but that could just be my nose. Like if you had a sweet, creamy pistachio shower gel. I ended up searching through my collection and layering 4 fragrances that ended up smelling heavenly together and putting the Kayali to absolute shame, so I will definitely be wearing that concoction over my Bum Bum Cream this summer and skipping the Kayali. I'm really glad I was able to try this first because I had every intention of blind buying based on the notes. I'm sure it will be a hit with other people, so no one should let less than stellar reviews dissuade them from trying it when it's released. But as someone who has become very spoiled with the super realistic gourmands that the niche and indie world have put out, this Kayali just fell very short in comparison imo.

I think the brand leaks them on purpose. I'm sure the last 2 releases also ended up 'leaked' on the grey market prior to release. It all creates more hype which creates fomo when the perfume launches and people will blind buy. Worked with the vanilla patchouli one 🤷♀️
Sometimes people get ahold of upcoming releases. If she has a plan to release it in the future, she's going to keep quiet about it now because it'll mess up plans for the release. I think it's authentic. We shall see in 6 months or so. If in 6 months she doesn't mention it, we'll know.
Before the sugared patchouli one was released or really discussed, I had seen some perfume influencers who live in other parts of the world show pictures of it. I hope it’s genuine. It sounds right up the Kayli branding.
I got a sample off of Etsy (also not sure if it is authentic) but I do not get very strong gourmand notes from it. It smells very similar to Angel by Mugler (with an added slight nuttiness) :( I will definitely be getting a sample of the real thing (if it does get released) to test against my sample! I have all of Kayali's sizes and the atomizers on the full bottles are incredible but the minis suck. They always get stuck. I really hope Kayali releases a true genuine gourmand that we all keep asking for. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Vanilla Royale. But it would be nice to have a sweet gourmand without challenging notes taking over just once. I will definitely be reviewing it as well once it comes out. Enjoyed hearing about it! Although it doesn't sound as delicious as I was hoping for. Shall see!
Do you mean like a softer gourmand? Vanilla 28 seems gourmand without challenging notes. Vanilla Royale is still tough for me to digest. It smells like an arthritis ointment my grandmother used on her knees when I was a kid lol

Sure they have some sweet notes or gourmand accords mixed in, but I don't think any of their fragrances smell edible persay. Even V28 (which I do love) is more of a floral to me, vanilla orchid with brown sugar to sweeten it up. Imo, she hasn't yet released a truly edible fragrance. But that's just me. Regardless I love almost all of them. I am just hoping she makes a decadent fragrance that smells delicious 😋 I think everyone was expecting Vanilla Royale to be a gourmand, but I think most people would agree it's not really. But I love it, it's super sexy to me with the leather 💕

Of course a real pistachio nut and vanilla on it's own isn't super sweet, it depends what other notes are used and can make the scent go in many different directions depending on what the fragrance is going for. In my experience most of Kayali's scents are sweet though especially what she classifies as gourmand, and with a name like Pistachio Gelato ICE CREAM I would expect it to have some sweetness. It is marketed as a "yummy" ice cream scent afterall. I really love Vanilla Royale but that doesn't smell like a dessert to me so I'm hoping this one does. I'm not saying it has to be a sugar bomb but with notes of cotton candy, marshmallow etc it sounds like it will be more gourmand than the others. Shall see. I just know many people have wanted a more dessert scent from Kayali without tons of oud/florals etc. I happen to enjoy both types and most of their fragrances though so I'm all for trying each one. Really enjoy the house overall

Hi Ange, I can see this is real for the Arabic notes, the copy will not bother. In my opinion this is widely compared to Elie Saab Girl of now which is syrupy Pista..and is a huge love for so many. I personally do not have any of Kayali's, none wowed me.

Is the band at the neck silver or gold? On screen it looks silver. It could be your silver furniture making it look this way. The other minis have a gold neck. Mona is a marketing genius so I wouldn’t be surprised if this is all for buzz and publicity. Time will tell!

I think you might have the real thing, it looks a lot like the minis that were reviewed by a few people online. I am intrigued to try this one out because I had to give Vanilla Royale away because it turned on my skin but smelled great on others, thankfully just a travel spray.
I agree with almost everything you said. It’s not as strong as some other Kayali perfumes and it disappears of my skin within 30min to be honest. Not worth a hype at all unfortunately.

The Vanilla Royale was literally $138 for the 100 ML and now it's $145 on their website. The 50 ML was $100 and now it's $105. I mean, I get doing it for a new launch but doing it for pre-existing launches? That's really shady AF. There's really no need. I know this cause the prices differ from Sephora PLUS I have it in my transaction history. Come on Mona, didn't expect Mona to scam.
