Seriously, read teh MattFraction Hawkeye run, Pizza dog even had a whole comic with him as the lead (all sppech bubbles were unreadable unless he knew what was being said, very clever boy)
good takes!! on the equality point, many times it feels like femme characters are defaulted to HornyTM even when the genre isn’t trying to be that. if it’s supposed to be a sexy thing, then make the masc characters sexy too. if it’s not, don’t make the femmes so sexualized. it’s not hard
I would 100% get Fluttershy, also the horror characters are all so well done. Also was gonna ask why they didn’t just do Ciri instead of Geralt but I guess they did both 😅 ALSO dog butthole was unexpected wtf 😂
what makes a 'male' presenting character sexy? Giant muscles? shirtless? a giant bulge in skin-tight pants? Honest question, I don't know what that looks like other than those tropes, but those could also be construed as 'strong badass superhero' from my straight perspective. What I'm trying to convey, is that the 'tropes' for super heroes have been perpetuated for a literal century of media, and since it has mostly been a male-dominated space for both creation and consumption of the media, you're going to find peak male form and peak female form in most all of the designs. I have avoided nearly all media and footage of marvel rivals in the corner of youtube I hide in, so I can't speak on specifics, but I imagine since they're 3D interpretations of mostly comic book characters, they went a little heavy on the voluptuousness sliders to cater to the tropes of what action comics have always shown to be best selling
Its an interesting thing because just sexy/eye candy for male presenting characters exist a good amount. A few examples from games would be characters like Geralt, Astorian or Ganondorf. However none of them feel very sexualized at all and just have a "Good looking guy" vibe, which if you arent into men just feeling more "power fantasy". Over sexualization on men is just significantly more rare so it often keeps that empowering male feeling. With female presenting character having just sexy/eye candy designs are definitely a thing, theres a larger chunk of them also being overly sexualized causing it to often feel more jucky.
We totally need a Ben and boba war hammer painting video lol 😂
