I know so many of you love to get new meal ideas to feed your family, so that is why I share what we eat. I try and cook at least one new recipe a month, it's just enough to learn new skills with out too much pressure. As a Mum of a 3 and 1 year old, they must be family friendly, so that is why we don't have chilli. I didn't cook when I was growing up so I only knew how to cook a couple of meals, so that is why I like to share new meals and in 2021 I am aiming to do FAKE AWAY meals instead of TAKE AWAY meals.

I just shared a meatball recipe on my Whats for dinner. They are called porcepine balls and omg they are so good! Pretty similar to your partners recipe but with rice in them and cooked in tomato soup 🤤 SO GOOD! We always serve ours on mash potato.
The kids won't touch mash potato at the moment. 😱

Love the recipes. With the ginger I freeze it also but I just up first instead of putting in whole in the freezer. Just a tip for you
Great tip! I need to do that next time, this was the first time I have frozen it and I am so happy with how it has lasted.
@@LoveHappyAli definitely something I do all the time prefer it more then the one they have crushed in tub. Flavour is better and I freeze up to 6 months.

I use this butter chicken recipe but I use the long life cooking cream. Seems to curdle less! I use the whole carton and it's been much better. Very like the takeaway

Thanks for the fantastic recipes. For an easy, delicious meal I buy Passage Foods ‘Passage to India’ butter chicken sauce. It’s made out of quality ingredients. I add chicken thigh, veggies and cream.

I enjoy the same passage to India sauce. Unfortunately my fussy kids only eat the Masterfoods Butter Chicken sauce. I also add veggies and garlic👍🤣 I’m just happy my kids eat it…..
We aren’t paleo, but absolutely love Pete evans paleo butter chicken. It’s always a winner here and kid friendly.

When feed Spaghetti or some thing that could be messy put a sheet under their chairs that way they drop onto that instead of the floor and that way all you have to do is shake stuff out then wash it. Sorry about typos. Hate auto correct

Hi Alison I love your content! I am also an Aussie mum of 2 (3 years and 4 months). I was just wondering how you find time to spend time with kids and keep up with chores cooking and organisation etc! I am a stay at home mum and have the kids everyday and struggle to find time! Xx
Hey, it's such a juggle and I don't do it all each day. I like to cook meals that will do two nights, so I don't have to cook the next night and then I have more time to focus on something else. xx Plus the more organised I get the house the easier homemaking becomes.

Video was posted over a year ago but I will comment anyway. True butter chicken will not call for tomato paste. It will use fresh tomato’s, usually puréed. Butter chicken and paneer butter masala usually call for fenugreek also. It makes a huge difference in taste…not something that should be omitted.
You appear to have a bland tasting curry : / Cream would get added at the very ending, after it tastes to your liking.
