This has been my favorite unboxing video that I’ve watched to date! I love how in detail you have gone with each kit and the way you obviously appreciate the artists and all the work that went into hand rendering these beautiful pieces. I’ve been watching this a couple kits at a time over the last couple days but I’m definitely loving every minute! Thank you for making this video 😊
I'm so glad you watched at your own pace and had a lot of fun. There will be a video as long or even longer than this one coming soon! I just ordered 2 kits. I love how things have an outline because when I did embroidery I always went back and outlined my work so you got the detail.
I do too! I love how they use 310 to make outlines. It especially helps me with squares because I can do the 310 first and then fill in the beautiful colours. It also definitely helps to see what some smaller details are on large paintings. I adore how they render artwork and I'm so thankful to the people who spend their time rendering these for us so carefully. Hand rendering is the best!

I just received "The lady of the lake" myself, and it will be my next project, as well as my first Diamond Art Club canvas that I ever worked on and I cannot wait! I was stunned by the detail and the canvas itself. I will be ordering more from them, that's for sure! By the way, the sword that she is holding is Excalibur, which is the sword that was given to King Arthur. Just a fun fact.
I'm so glad she's beautiful and that is interesting! I cannot wait to know what you think as you work on her. I cannot wait to work on mine. I have so many that I wish I had 48 hours in a day...but even then I still wouldn't have enough time, haha.
@@youcaughtmecrafting I agree, there is not enough time in a day! I could literally diamond paint from morning to bedtime if I could! LOL! I appreciate the detailed look at these diamond art club canvases that you provided. Keep up the good work! as for my Lady of the Lake, she will be hung up next to my Lady of the lake sword holder, which is holding a full size Excalibur sword. Perfect place for it!
@@lissamarieify Ooh I want to see a picture of that when you're done! I really wanted to show every single canvas up close and as much of it as possible. I love soooo many crafters, but I never mind an extra 5-10 minutes on a video if it means I get to see exactly what I'm going to be spending $75+ on. With DAC the quality is always great, but I'll always go the extra mile and point out little things that I notice that I might like or not like as much. Honesty is the best, especially for unboxing videos and just being a creator in general.

I'm so glad! And I do the same as its just the company and it does truly make all the difference! At the moment I'm actually not working on any well... I have one that isn't at my place but at my stepdads for when I go there, the other one I handed over to a friend to work on, then I decided to wait to start a new kit till the damsel dp along as I really love kurtis rykovich artwork, i just wish jt was the DAC quality haha
@@Drills_with_Sils I ADORE his work. I have Snow Queen from Dreamers Designs. It's one of the only ones I have from there and I haven't done any yet, so I can't really speak on their quality, but I've watched videos and their rendering is questionable a lot. I think some of them look really good though. His work would be perfect for DAC because his artwork being hand rendered by one of their artists would be perfection. You have amazing taste!! The company really makes all of the difference. The only time I buy from AliExpress now is EverMoment where I get customs (family or BTS) and they're always HUGE and gorgeous, lol. I can do a story of one, because their customs are just ridiculously great.
@@youcaughtmecrafting I enjoy their quality! Well for their round drills it's honestly my favorite round drills! Their squares are like old DAC so not horrible but if im gonna buy a square from dreamer designs it's gonna have to be something I really love from them!
I have Hazel, salem, rainbow brite and moon lily then I have completed red riding and symphony 😂 the last releases im also questioning the rendering on the skin tones why I haven't purchased any since salem was released I do want the strawberry one but she is square and I know their squares can frustrate me so I'm gonna complete one large square from them before I purchase it i think 😂 plus 60x80 is the largest ill have ever done as so far I've only done like.. 51x66 or something hahah
Haha! Well, if my Snow Queen is a round you've definitely convinced me to try her out quicker than I would have. I trust your judgement. I'm...out of my mind and buy huge customs, haha. As you can tell I buy and love large paintings and you'll be seeing me announce a project soon that includes 2 HUGEEE paintings, but I'm so excited to do it. I also have extremely large customs from EverMoment and I'm actually about to post a story showing one of them. They're all like 60x110. They'll be so much fun for WIP and chats though. I hope that you guys like long ones, because I'll need to make long ones to finish paintings! :)

Thank you so much! I have taught before and loved it! I was worried the sound effects would annoy people, so thank you! I'm still such a novice editor that I know there might be noise errors and mistakes everywhere, but I just laugh them off and know that each video will be better and you guys are so kind about them. I'm a slower painter, so it would definitely take me months. I work on a LOT of big projects at once. I'm amazed at how fast people can complete huge, square paintings. It's a STUNNING painting. I'm a book lover too, so it's one of my all time favourites!

Hello, thanks for the marathon unboxing! I have been debating over Not My Alice for awhile and think I may get it now!
She’s GORGEOUS. I really tried to show her off, but I don’t think any video can do her justice. She’s a painting I want to work on very soon, but I have a ridiculous amount of WIPs currently and I’m about to film the big Part 2 to this that’s even longer, haha. Oy! I’ve been thinking of doing an Alice month once I complete 1-2 of my current WIPs where I just work on my big DPD project and then different iterations of Alice, which would definitely include Not Your Alice. I think that might be fun!

@@jessicawolf9814 I’m soo glad! Into Wonderland is gorgeous and I see it stolen on so many websites. The artist is so kind and I even linked them to a store selling it illegally and they were grateful and hopefully got it taken down. I love so many unboxing videos, but I realised nobody was doing it 100% the way I wanted it where, even if it’s longer, I show everything. These aren’t inexpensive purchases, and as someone who loves this craft I just know what I want in a product and a company and DAC has the quality in both and I’m hoping you love yours! They all sound amazing and I’d love to see your progress!

Hello, nice unboxing of so many canvasses. I most love Yuumei Art- Phases. It was very nice to see that you edited all those chapters, so I could fly through if I didn't like a canvas enough to see all of it.

Your work is gorgeous! I picked up Echoes and Winter Fox as preorders. Unfortunately I think the color matching on each was a bit off and the drills are darker than the original artwork but they’re both absolutely stunning pieces of art!
@@missa7567 thank you so much I'm glad to hear that you like my work. I've just received m kit for echoes and I get what you mean with the colours being darker. I'm still mostly amazed at how well they managed to translate my work to a diamond painting. Especially with all the details
@@missa7567 I'm about to start Echoes of the Past and I hope the colour matching isn't too off, because the artwork is just stunning. I'll post a full review so that, hopefully, if there was something a little off on these, that her next pieces (if we're lucky enough to get more) are rendered closer to her artwork, because it's so gorgeous and some of my absolute favourite pieces on DAC's site. Maybe after I post the review I can switch some drills out and then show it again with the DMC #'s of the ones I changed, but hopefully I'll love it just the way it is.

It's a good, healthy addiction to have, in my opinion! I'm so excited for you! Which piece did you order?? What other brands have you bought? I've definitely that along my journey and I've learned that some brands will be dishonest about if they pay artists for their work, which is such a shame. I've had 3-4 reach out to me to do unboxings, but all that gets them is their stolen artwork reported by me to the artist/DAC or other companies, haha. If there's anything you need help with or just want to talk about I'm always here. Happy Diamond Painting!!
@@youcaughtmecrafting I was given the first 4 by my son (small sunrises on the beach & wetlands) & A cow with a sunflower, I stopped doing it cause the drills kept popping up. So I ordered "BUNNIES IN A BASKET" by DAC, people told me I get what I pay for!! I live in Galveston Texas🌻
Popping drills are the worst, especially when you’ve been working so hard on a painting. That’s so thoughtful of your son though. That’s why when you’re diamond painting, especially if you use a light board you might notice tiny gaps between your drills and be worried, but they’re actually meant to be there because the glue can expand or change with the weather or temperate so those tiny gaps help the drills not to pop and give them a tiny bit of wiggle room. I always feel great when I turn off my light pad and step back. Of course we’re going to notice every non-perfect placement with our noses to the canvas 😂. I hope that your DAC canvases bring you so much joy and I hope to hear about your progress!

I haven't either. I think it might actually be the biggest unboxing on RUclips, haha. I could be wrong, but I think it is! I should've made that the title, haha! Thank you so much for watching the whole video. It means so much, because works really does go into every second. I love it too! It actually started with me making a Bookstagram called "YouCaughtMeReading", which I still have and love. I want to work on it a bit more this year, but this channel is definitely my priority right now. I hope to see it when you’re finished! I really love the canvas. The brightness of it is so different from a lot of canvases that I can see it feeling so refreshing and fun to work on.
Wow that had to have taken you forever to record!! I have many of the same diamond paintings, especially the Randal Spangler as I have every single one of his. I just ordered Fairy Lights and it is gorgeous!! I am doing the very last one you showed, Soulmates, as a HUGE 5 panel diamond painting. The two outside panels are 40 x 60, the two panels in from there are 40 x 80, and the big middle panel is 40 x 100. I got one of the 40 x 60, 40 x 80, and the 40 x 100 done. Now working on the second 40 x 80. It’s taking me a long time but it’s such a gorgeous picture. A ton of confetti. Does this small version have a lot of confetti too? It looks like it does. Oh by the way - the keyword is confetti. I made it to the end of the video, although I have to admit that I sped the video up. LOL. Thanks for the video. I’m going to be recording my HUGE Diamond Art Club stash, hopefully this weekend. That video is going to take me quite awhile to record too as I have over 100 of them. But I am definitely NOT opening every single box and showing the canvas/drills or I’d be here til next week. I’m looking forward to recording it though as I’m excited to go through my stash too. We forget what we all have sometimes. LOL.
It took about 6-7 hours!!! I can’t wait to see your stash and your version of Soulmates sounds amazing! Even though mine was a teeny tiny it did have confetti so I can’t imagine what yours looks like. I actually love confetti. I want to see the progress on such a big, gorgeous piece! Showing my whole stash would be impossible, because I’d have to keep stopping as I run down and get new diamond painting mail 😂😂 I’m trying to be better from now on…sorta. Sometimes there’s just a picture that calls to you.
@@youcaughtmecrafting wow. Your back had to be killing you. My diamond painting room is upstairs too so I set up a 6 foot foldable table up there that I’m going to record on. I just recorded my end of the month video showing what I all colored and diamond painted this last month. In it, I do show the three panels that I have completed so far if you’re interested. It’s turning out beautiful but you definitely have to like the colors blue and purple. Lol.

I do that all of the time. The only thing I've been really good with is a "Book Ban" for 2022 and maybe even 2023, because you'll see in my craft room tour, coming soon, that I definitely don't need another book. The only book I would get is a continuation of a series I'm reading, but other than that, none for me!

My parents also have multiple storage units that are full of things and 1 has my furniture and stuff and a ton of my older books. Reading is just so much fun. Congratulations on building your house!

@@youcaughtmecrafting I can multiplace up to about 8, but usually stick between 4 and 6 pending on what I have for multiplacers and what the section looks like in terms of color blocking. But the big areas of black on "Decendants of the Volacano" I was doing a lot of 8.

I’m really enjoying your video! I’m only partway through but I just had to comment and say… you sound just like the actress Deborah Rush! I know it’s random, but I would have thought this video was her if you hadn’t said your name was Janet! She is older than you of course, but it’s just the way you talk. Also, it is a compliment , you have a very nice and soothing voice.
I just looked her up and I recognised her. She’s also in one of my favourite romantic comedies “You’ve Got Mail”! I love how it says she’s known for her trademark scratchy voice. When I was younger I was always like “Why is my voice a bit lower and a little scratchy?!” But now I like it. There are so many great actresses with the scratchy voices too like Emma Stone! There's a link to my desk under the video. It's an amazing drafting table/desk and I highly recommend it. It has great storage. It's also really help my back pain since it's a drafting table and you have the choice to lift it to certain degrees. :)

In each video I'll usually do something though. :)
Thank you! It takes a lot for me to get loud and even then I don’t think I yell. If I’m yelling….there’s a big problem. Usually it’s if my daughter is too far away or something so it’s just necessary, haha. I just naturally talk quietly and calmly, but I can definitely stumble over my words. 😂 I’ve noticed that in my videos, but I’ll always leave it in because who doesn’t stumble over their words sometimes?!

I wanted to add a couple ideas for videos you requested ideas for.. I am having issues with static, I've cut up straps of bounce sheets for the containers that I transfer the drills into, but my problem is, getting the drills from the bags they come in, into the container themselves. Any ideas? Also, I have never multiplaced before because I'm OCD when it comes to the drills being straight & from all the complaints made by people in regards to that I never bothered trying.. Any tips & tricks would be awesome.

Of course! I’m sorry I just saw the second part of your comment. For my 240 colour Diamond Painting Deutschland I’d cut little squares off of the dryer sheet and then shake them up and leave those in a pile for about 10 minutes while I kitted up other colours and then I’d go back to the others and give the bag a good shake and that seemed to take away most of the static. I’ll be kitting up another DPD soon, so O will see what all I can do to try and help with static. I saw once where someone poured the diamonds out into a tray and then took a dryer sheet and pressed it down on them a couple of times and then poured them into the bottle with the tray, which looked like it worked well.
Also, have you ever thought of maybe using a drill ruler????
I can’t put a picture, but if you just search you can see them and if you get a good one I’m sure it would help you out a lot. At the moment I won’t multi-place over 4 and I move them into pretty perfect lines too, haha.

I really like the Firefly Fireworks by Randal Spangler because of the dragon. I might have to get this for my brother if it's still available. Our middle name means dragon so I just felt a connection there. And it's huge. We're going to need a bigger table haha
Personally, I'm loving the Lady of the Lake by Enys Guerrero because I'm a big fan of Arthurian lore, knights, and chivalry isn't dead. As Lisa Marie pointed out a fun fact about her holding Excalibur, here is another. She goes by a few names, but I prefer Viviane. You have to love Fate Grand Order for providing that one haha I'm gonna look for this and get this one for myself. I'm curious if those flowers around her are rosy cloud daffodils because they do look like them and are one of my favorite flowers.

I think it's Real Me or nothing at all. Totoro is probably the movie my sister and I watched the most as a kid. I love Ivy's work! I have Midnight Laundromat and want Warm Witch! I love confetti. Color blocking is boring to me.
I don’t mind colouring blocking, but a whole painting of it would probably take me longer to work on than a whole painting of confetti because I’d want to work on the confetti more. I like a good mixture of both. Ivy is amazing!! I’ll be unboxing Warm Witch (small spoiler) in my Part 2 so you can see that beauty up close very soon. :) If I could I’d just scoop up all of Ivy’s work.

I most say when I first started Diamond painting I got mine form places that didn’t give the artist and I didn’t know but after I got two form DAC I can’t stop buying the Third time I got “The lady of the lake” and “cat & fairy” I just order four more and I can’t wait for them to come.
I think most of us did. AliExpress got me...now I have so many I need to go through and check the copyright and I'm sure most aren't usable. It's such a shame and I wish I could do something for the artists. I LOVEEE those paintings and I can't wait to see what else you ordered! You can always use my link or code, if you'd like, haha. They only come in one size. If you’re looking it will tell you the dimensions :) DAC makes the paintings in the sizes they believe make the artwork look the best.

I make a lot of them as gifts and then I also have a little book where I can put the smaller ones, but I don't work on very small ones often. The larger ones that I'm working on now I will either frame or roll up and store carefully until they can find a home. :)

My biggest that I have are the Josephine Walls and then I might make a video of my customs from EverMoment because they’re soo beautiful, but they’re HUGE. 60x120, etc. They’ll be fun to work on for the channel. A big painting can be scary, but I’m making a video soon on rolling them up and how to kind of…handle them in a way that I feel makes me more comfortable working on them and I hope it helps. If not, just stay at whatever size makes you happy. That’s what this is all about. :)
BTS is my ultimate confetti. 💜 💜💜💜💜💜💜. I also have mad kitty. I have bought 2 diamond art club because of BTS. But have a few of DAC that I still need to do.... it took a few days to watch this but I did. I enjoy it. I sing at work all the time and I have to remember not to. I wish DAC would take over BTS official dp the drill quality would be amazing. Any ways I did buy 9 of the official BTS kits one for each member and an extra Tae & Hobi. Thanks again.
