Having been a skater that grew up skating in the 90s, and being an adult now and having touched skateboarding from an industry standpoint, these episodes really help to humanise 'the professional skateboarder'. That beyond the footage and the fandom, there is family, honor, duty, the understanding of the support system that came before, the trials, tribulations and dedication to the craft of skating that occur during, and the reality of what comes after is what I really appreciate. I'm 35, and to this day, wherever I am in the world, if I see a marble curb, the first thing I think is, 'man someone could probably tail slide that'.
Man so much props to his dad. There probably isn't a single better thing you could do to a kid than make him repeat affirmations like that. People don't realise how much you create your world by the way you think. Mad props.
I swear these are the best seriously I appreciate all the hard work everyone at the berrics puts in and the skateboarders to make these push eps really inspiring and motivational! ❤️
If you have passion never give up. Do it for yourself and never let anyone tell you, you can't. Super cool to watch Miles follow a dream and ill always look forward to seeing what his career has in store.
Dang , every time I see a push part I just get hyped, I'm laying in bed or something watching it and by the time it's halfway done or even just starting, I feel like skating right then and there..respects🙏🏼
foreal tho i think its dope he thought about his family when he considered getting on adidas. something i wouldve thought about if i was a sponsored skater lol. make sure your family is good.
He's going to get so much hate for leaving Lakai for Adidas but honestly I would prolly do the same and most oflther people.Miles is right you do have to think about the future and the people you care about.Adidas def can provide more opportunities than most companies so it's a no brainier but I can see how he was torn at the time with the decision.
Ty Heuksal I know he left Adidas a while back but some "political core skateboarders" might bitch about it on this comment section since he talked about the behind the scenes details in this video.Chill dude I fucks with Adidas skating matchcourts now and went to the preiere for away days in NY last year.
I was so disappointed when he left lakai, but I'm gald he talked about it at length in this. I really appreciate how conflicted he was. Ultimately he knew adidas was gonna take care of him and his fam in a way that lakai just never could, the sad truth of core vs coprorate. Also glad it highlighted just how much of a prodigy he was as a young kid. His old organika vids when hes like 14 are crazy by today's standards.
I hope kids see now that he didn't get on Adidas because of the whole " Bigger paycheck " talk. He simply got on because he thought about his future and how it can be something meaningful for his family to look back at. Nothing wrong with Lakai, but Adidas seems like the better choice. They got a very humble rider with them for life.
that was a tough decision, adidas or lakai, how to handle the situation perfectly is really frustrating. but miles is good tho, he said that lakai has been good to him, that is one trait a person must have, be thankful.
lets say all he had was basic tricks, the way he skates and the style in which he skates in is a breath of fresh air. Thats why he's excels in skateboarding and thats why he's amongst the best.
Miles has a great father.
And a great mother too. No wonder he's successful
his dad is a genius
Geno Segers look a like haha

So how do we see episode 4? Is it in the berrics website or is it not out yet?
No mention what happened why quitting Organika, how/why'd that come about?
UrbanLikwid they went out of business, that's why he left
Organika went under so he had to quit
My dad makes me repeat “I’m the best”
🙏🙏🙏
It seemed like riding for Adidas was simply too big of an opportunity to pass up. Away Days was dope.

Lakai is better
this is a lot of hype this guy is not that good. jus standard basic tricks nothing inovating
This guy is better at skateboarding than you'll ever be, probably a better person too.
Idk about the better person I am not gonna mention my accomplishments..But doesn't change the fact that he's boring to watch.
noseblund 18 stair rail lol calling that boring? gtfo
lets say all he had was basic tricks, the way he skates and the style in which he skates in is a breath of fresh air. Thats why he's excels in skateboarding and thats why he's amongst the best.
exactly, he skates like he has complete control on his board, so stylish
