    So I learned when pitchers accidentally hit or almost hit someone, they throw the perfect pitch for a homerun afterwards.

      Usually they get a warning to not do that again or be ejected. So it's either they throw a clean pitch or risk it going outside and getting them ejected if it's an off throw, so..

      They sometimes do this to disrupt the batters attention, or to simply hit them and get them on a mound, thus not challenging them.
      This is usually done when the pitcher knows the batter is good and can likely hit a home run. A strategy of sorts.

    9:10 The game was almost over and was a blowout at that point, (Dallas 52, Buffalo 17) yet check out Don Beebe still giving 100% effort. After the game Bill's owner Ralph Wilson walked from the owner's booth to the locker room and thanked Beebe for the play.

      Calculated by the owner by going down to the locker room and thanking him infront of the whole team...when your team is down is when you see the players who are the leaders of the team...

    14:42, this is the most painful one on this list if you ask me. Out of all the premature celebrations out there resulting in losses, this one's just different. The game was over lol. It's not like someone tripped you up before getting a touchdown. The game is literally over, all you do is hold onto the ball for a couple seconds and that's it. The Washington Wizards were up by 3 at that point. Even if the apposing team has time to foul you, you hit just 1 free throw and it's over. Even if you miss both, they have to somehow rebound the ball and go for a full court shot to TIE the game in an impossible amount of time... Long story short, that throw lost them the game after OT lol... Just look at his fellow teammates staring at him in total disbelief afterwards. Gotta be one of the worst throws in sports history.

      Even if they miss both free throws some teams will even foul in that situation so that the other team has no chance to even tie it. Two points and you're gonna earn them under pressure from the line.

      There's a medical university in my home city really popular with Indians. Many apartment complexes with med students there that have an overbearing stench of curry. I say stench because I used to like curry. Until I smelled it everyday until the stench seeped into my bones.

    Being a Packers fan, I remember watching that game against the Seattle Seahawks where Hassleback said they were going to score in OT and when Al Harris picked him off and took it back I remember my family and I was jumping up and down, yelling and going nuts. One of my favorite sports moments ever especially with my favorite team being the ones offering the karma back at Hassleback.

    Context for Stanton: Fiers hit him in the jaw 4 years prior, breaking it and ending his season. First at-bat against Fiers after he was hit and he gets hit again. Absolutely justified in watching it go.

      Yeah, punters are only scrawny and unimpressive compared with other football players. They're still professional athletes and perform like it, and the good ones can win games. The Isaac Punts channel on youtube does great breakdowns of how much a good punter can affect a game.

      When I played, as a batter, if I felt a pitcher was intentionally throwing inside (whether I was hit or not) I purposely hit it as hard as possible up the middle trying to hit the pitcher. Great technique to focus on hitting the ball squarely and using the whole field.

But, I'll trust the word of former players that gave an estimated number based off what they seen during their time in the league.
      These anonymous retired players also said that certain teams would try and push to have certain players get both their yearly drug tests done early in the season so they could use whatever they wanted the rest of the year.
      As per an agreement between the players union and the league, players are allowed a maximum of 2 random drug tests per year, no more than that.
