Hi Sarah, thank you for always making videos about your personal experiences and tips. I was wondering... would you kindly make a detailed video about heel side and toe side railstands..? I can NEVER seem to get my front foot on the board on time for heel sides. I don't know if it's my weight distribution as well but I always seem to fall on my butt while my skateboard rolls away into the distance...
I've known about your channel and you since your very first video (before it disappeared... ㅋㅋㅋ) I'm half Korean and Vietnamese from Australia who finally has the time to get into skating more. My girlfriend and I are happy whenever you upload a video. 감사합니다 수고하세요!

Hi Justin! Thank you so much. I can't believe you've been here since the first video. That's kind of crazy. That must have been the grip tape video.. I think. Hard to remember now haha
I actually plan on making some beginner tutorials for freestyle--starting with getting into rail. But I'm thinking that won't come until spring or summer. If you don't mind, I'd be happy to review a video if you don't mind sending a few angles of it to my instagram. It's easier to give advice if I can see what's happening! Thanks again though! Glad you both like the videos 😃

Tony Gale locks the left leg vs any bend which looks really consistent. I would check out his vid on the trick.

Love these diary style tutorials ❤️ You’re always keeping it real, like how everyone’s different, and it could take months or years 😧 I take my time and not rush to get the trick because of you 😊 I take my small wins before I move on, instead of getting frustrated about how long it takes to get to that big win. Once I get the trick as a whole, I’m way more happier about it. You’re an amazing influence 🙌

its amazing to see how far you've come, as a skateboarder and a video creator.
freestyle has never been my interest, but your skills in all areas of skateboarding you do are legit and inspiring.
have you tried or are you going to try the andy anderson wheels btw.?
they are supposed to be street (and park) wheels with the lovely dragon formula, and shaped like a freestyle wheel.

I appreciate that! It's also cool seeing you stick around for so long. That in and of itself is motivating to me too 😃 to make better stuff!
Yeah, I looked at the nano cubics when they first came out. The dragon formula is a big draw--especially for the spots I skate. But, I have two sets of freestyle wheels that are still skate-able, and I love supporting Waltz and our community. So, I've been holding off on any purchases yet. Trying to grind my current ones down. Once they're worn, I'll have to think about it again. It might be worth grabbing them for my street setup actually--and use them the way they were designed. For a little crossover magic 😃

Wow! really exciting to see you get it rolling! It kinda looked like you had a little roll going without the front foot yet on, which was cool. great vid to do in this cold weather, something else with the manual balancing to practice indoors. i love how this channel highlights the combination of patience and progress and good vibes. The slow steadiness is what I think a lot of us need who are maybe taking a longer time than what we think we need to get certain milestones. I have been practicing my rolling ollies and i take the time now to appreciate the small bits of progress. cheers from new jersey!

Cheers Nicole! That's definitely what it's all about. All progress is just the culmination of time dedicated to the skill. It just tends to take longer than we think 😂 Especially for someone like me who is a little less intuitive and a little more analytic haha Appreciate your input! And good luck with those ollies. I hope New Jersey is a little less snowy than NY. We've been covered for a while now lol luckily, I had some stuff filmed in advance haha
