I know the joy of having your own home for I experienced a similar move in 2017 after raising my daughter. I moved to a house that needed a lot of work but it is a good, sound home and saw the potential. You've been blessed. I'm so happy for you. Have fun in your new home.

I'm glad you have a wonderful 4 legged friend to share your good fortune with. If needed you might have a bed and breakfast type of rental with the other house. That way you have both solitude, and short time of rental income too.

(Runsaiden sateiden jälkeen minunkin ollut nyt kevyt tehdä vähän lapiohommia mökillä, kun lapio uppoaa vähällä vaivalla maahan. Jo pienellä lapion käytöllä sain aikoinaan estettyä ettei routa ole enää nostanut yhtä talon nurkkaa, silloin ei meinannut saada ulko-ovea auki.)
