    What made this even more special was that Alex Smith deserved this after all of the adversity he went through prior in his career. Love watching his TD run toward the end there and his emotion afterward. It's sad so many fans were calling for his head just a couple years prior. Will always have respect for this man.

    HH, if you rememner me and my suggestions, you have made my day. This is a top 5 playoff game of all time, including the heartbreaking loss the following week. That Giants game was just as epic. 5 sacks of Eli and 12+ knock downs, 2 TDs to Vernon Davis yet the 49ers only converted 1 3rd down in regulation. It went to Over Time and had that Kyle Williams second punt fumble. Gotta do that game next as the obvious follow up.

    This game won an award at the 2012 espys. The 49ers have it in their museum at Levi stadium. This game was amazing. Thanks for bringing this back. Other videos of this game don't capture this game well. Great Job! Subbed 👍

    I remember this game like it was yesterday. It was the first thing i watched on tv when i came back from a visit to my family in Sierra Leone; god that was a long flight home. I didn’t even fall asleep until this very night and i watched this game beforehand and i thought this game was going to be special. I was sad that the Jets didn’t make the playoffs but i wanted to watch the game. I watched this game start to finish and i swear to God this was the best game I’ve ever watched and this game was the best playoff game ever with the greatest fourth quarter i ever seen in my life. Man this brings back so much memories

    I actually wasn’t into football when this happened, as a Bay Area native and a big Niners fan I started taking interest in football in 2013 so I never got to watch these Niners. First time I actually watched the highlights of this game, I had only heard about this catch. With Bosa, De-Fo, Dee Ford, and our young core we can do wonders man. My Niners are back on that rise

    This was one of those games you’ll never forget where you were. I was at some random girls house friend of a friend for her birthday in Malibu. Woke up to watch this game by myself with a bunch of clueless chicks. I’ll never forget Vernon coming off the field after making that catch in tears and some girl says “why the fuck is that man crying” as I was literally wiping away my own tears and just thinking some people will never understand. What a beautiful moment this was

    As a Saints fan, this game still hurts! That being said, it’s easily a Top 5 game for me - hell, Top 3! Such a classic worth rewatching despite a heartbreaker for Brees... #WhoDat

    Damn , I remember this like if it was yesterday. I was 18 years old.
    Probably one of the best postseason games so far in the 21st century.
    Also , I’d like to request the classic game of the 2011 season ; Cowboys @ Patriots. That was a good game to watch even though Dallas lost

    Even as a 9er fan, this is still one of the best games I've ever seen in my life.
    If only Harbaugh had run the ball in with Frank Gore in Superbowl 47. Staley, Justin Smith, Aldon Smith, Willis, Bowman, and Gore all would have gotten a ring. I'll never forgive Harbaugh for that loss.

    the saints always putting their fans on the wrong side of great games. This game, BeastQuake, The Meaningless Miracle, the No Call NFCCG, the 2013 divisional against the SeaHawks again. even regular season games like Browns Hailmary and the Jaguars game in 2003 (i think).

    This was the Saints year. One of the best offenses of all time. Brees had one of the greatest QB seasons of all time. Everything was going well, but the defense let him down yet again

    I remember this game!!! Looking back on it now Sproles was a soldier. He got koed in the first quarter and fumbled 3 times but somehow he kept his head in the game and came through at the end.
    Now I see why they let Jenkins walk though. They had that dudes number on this day. Hes a hell of a player now, I think NO was just putting too much on his plate at that point in his career.
