It's only things the others on your teams say though so you never know what to expect. Plus it can also be soething they said just before dying so you didn't even know it. Things like this one are really just shear coincidence. Just notice how odd the masked was repeated the line about the mountain dew backpack.
Creepiest skinwalker encounter in this game I ever had was my friend kept saying marco polo to try and find each other in the facility, and when I dropped stuff back off at the ship I heart footsteps, and I closed the door and it went "Marco" like it was trying to get me to say polo. The funniest one was when another friend wouldnt stop singing "I'm on that good kush and alcohol" and a bracken would not stop saying it, like 3 seperate times the bracken sang it.
Nah, it was actually rather predictable. After all, that hallway was a massive death trap with Peanut and a perfect setup for that other monster when trying to escape Drae should've cut and run once he realized where IGP died and what was present

I could be really easy if it's not an ai or algorithm. They could have set trigger words (or even random cause sometimes they say really anything) Though I have seen videos where they say things that no one has said

Had it happening before. Even had a coilhead talk in my own voice to me, ending up in two idiots saying that they're the real one

There's no way the skinwalker mod doesn't use AI. Not only does it know exactly how to respond to players, I've come across so many times where the monsters have said things that nobody in the game has said. We've even heard it use a friends voice who hadn't played with us for weeks!
I don't think it uses AI. At least for the voices. You can see it registering voice clips in the debug log and saving them for use later on, and it keeps clips saved from other sessions, too. That's why it uses so much memory as its consistently saving and loading voice clips.
It's definitely not AI, it only reuses the same lines the players have said, even things you didn't hear them say because they didn't say it over the radio. The masked for example literally repeated them talking about the mountain dew backpack saying "it's literally master chief" that they said in the ship when they landed.

Pay close attention to the company notes at the end of each run (paranoid, most profitable are her favorite targets try to avoid getting those too often) 4. Get very good at running and dodging in this game Thats all I know of/remember atm hope this helps

IGP, for the record, you can smack an Exit door with a shovel and you'll know it's a mimic if the door growls at you. You can also hit it with a Stop/Yield sign too.
I genuinely wish someone would add the trumpet skeletons from the Minecraft mod into leathal company. They do no damage but the doots can be heard in the distance and they’re only attack is knocking you back with the trumpet. Of course it would also knock back other minsters too. Just like in the original mod.

You can tell if a door is a mimic when you hit it with a shovel if it's a mimic it will flip you off.
