Thank you so so much! It’s been a long time coming. Too many people don’t even know the role of genetics but it’s their go to excuse for having stagnant hair sigh
@the.olamidefred you're so right, even mom is the one that doubts the most😩,but I'm intent on showing her that I can get there and it's not all about genes !
You just cracked me up this evening. 😂😂😂😂, what an enlightening information. You are a great tutor. You are absolutely correct, when you chase healthy hair, long hair is the icing! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤.
I’m glad! I thought people would be offended 🫣 It was when I was editing I realized that some of my language and expression la were over the top but form the comments so far, I feel better😊 And yes, healthy hair will eventually grow long 😉
Genetics definitely plays a role but good hair practices help a ton. I understand my hair grows slow and ive grown to accept that but Im working on having better routine. even if it grows a little its still good and I dont have to compare to others ❤
May be genes play a role in the speed only bt length all type of afro hair can grow long even can reach the buttock length and below before i thought my hair can't grow bt i once went to work in arabs country there you dont go to salon so i was the one doing my hair let me tell it grew within a period of 2 years i couldn't use short braids to praint my hair and after i started going to salon again i loosed the leghth the density and now it very hard to get back there
Let me comment again. 😂. I have 3abc texture. Some strands are so THICK let thread some are so LIGHT like infant chicken feather. 😂😂😂😂 Your commentary. Instance. My mixed friend shared how her edges where not slickling she thought it was a problem. Until i probed i was like this edges you are chasing this look too full to be edges looked like new growth. Until she informed me how she has a very good hair stylist who makes hair to trive. I was like ehhheee.......
Preach sis! Tell them o jare. Other things are your health, hormones, loving the hair on you head and treating it with care. As for me I have 4Qui hair oooo😂
I touched on health and hormones in my other video (ruclips.net/video/kX_DPEgyyHM/видео.htmlsi=p-tInBvWrDSg7jgA) they are very important too. Which one is 4Qui hair ooo😂
What??? People actually want to lighten their hair???? For what??? Peope are crazy!!! As for growth and length retention, i found that when i tell people exactly what i do to retain my length and health of my hair, the answer i get is always ," That's too much work". 😂😂😂 Yet alm i tell them is that i wash my hair twice a month, deep condition once a month, and then just braid it up in cronrows or mini braids. Oh and i also use shea butter on my scalp and also grease on my hair strands. Blue magic, kuza indian hemp, dax indian hemp , ORS jojoba oil grease are my favourites. I blow dry my hair before i put it in cornrow styles. And no, i no longer use extensions.
People wanna lighten, darken all sorts. No one wants what they have smh And they are always looking for a shortcut. They want to run one thing one time and wake up with rapunzel hair… just absurd
Hmmmmm, we the African, we don't love how God created us, we don't love our complexion, our thick bodies our hair, how we dress etc If only we have idea how the white people envy us, we will appreciate how God created us May God have mercy on us all
Righttttttt it’s soooo annoying when I hear people say natural hair doesn’t fit everybody… what do you mean???? Are you saying God made a mistake when he gave you that hair??
