Really like this can't wait to get it on my printer. With the retractable shooter have you considered a design similar to the badge reel shooters people have made for reeling it back in?
Thanks! Yeah I’ve looked into it and tested a few designs, ultimately we’ll go in a different direction for our reload mechanisms. Have found that with electronics we can get a more compact design

what does a safety cap do, you didnt mention anything on the video so im asking to know
Ah yes, sorry! The safety cap has a slot for a magnet at the top, when the web-12 is loaded and ready to fire you can magnetically attach the safety cap to stop it from firing if the trigger is accidentally pulled

how did you orientat the 3d printed pieces for cleaner results and less suppprt material?
Our orientation is detailed in the 3D printing instructions! In the same folder as the stl downlosds

There’s a couple places that will give you an online instant quote! Zelta3D comes to mind but there’s a lot

Do you think you’d include the magnetic attachments on the ps4 web shooters and when you get to it, the miles morales web shooters?
Also if you get access to the files before they’re no longer free do you keep access?
Yes, finished redesigning them and they have the magnetic mounting option :) if you download the 3D print files through the link you will keep access, you won’t be able to see the assembly tutorial anymore after 48 hours

@@herotech also how secure is the magnetic mounting? I know that when you slide magnets the sometimes will disconnect and I’m wondering if that would be a problem for these because you shoot by pulling the string? If the magnets sliding is an issue I’d suggest maybe a small wall at the front of the webshooter. If not, then now need to worry 🤷🏾♂️

@@herotech im having problems with the cartridge not fitting. Is it best to 3d print on its side?
Oh the cartridge should be printed straight up - there should be a file called 3D printing instructions in the downloaded folder, and it shows the orientation of all the parts there. Sorry for the confusion!

The files are all downloadable, so if you access within the first 48 hours you get to keep them for free!

Oh man, weird that RUclips only just sent it - it should send right as the video drops as far as I know :( alternatively you can sign up for our newsletter on the website under the “news” section which will always send an email when a new project drops
