    Oh my goodness! Thank you SO much for this video! This is exactly what I was looking for and now I know how to transplant and where to snip away the dead flowers! Really appreciate it!

      This plant is still growing strong, I have since propagated it by cuttings and all are doing well. I hope you have similar luck with your plants, thanks for watching!

    Good morning. Just came to your lovely video because my Kal's leaves suffered alittle frost and some of the leaves turned yellow and shriveled up at the tips. I just up-potted it, removed trimmed the dried up tips and propagated some of the stems to hopefully start a new plant. As far as the soil not absorbing the water right away, I usually mist the top of the soil and it definitely helps. Have a blessed day and happy Spring!!😊🌵🌱🙏

    Beautiful flower plant. I picked up a couple of Lowe's. The leaves look the same as yours, but the flowers are different. The flowers are radiant and glowing for a long time.

      Wow, great video! Those containers are gorgeous, I love the part when you placed the little square tiles and the rest showed up like magic (nice editing!).

    Thank you SO much for this BEAUTIFUL video! I've never been able to care for this plant but I just purchased a GORGEOUS one with coral colored flowers 2 weeks ago and the flowers died back. I hadn't up-potted it because I wasn't sure how to without hurting it. I just up-potted and deadheaded it and I noticed very tiny buds newly growing. Do you have an updated video on how your GORGEOUS plant is doing?😌

    Kinda seems like too much water for any type of succulent but long as it works guess you good. Thanks!

    Hi. Does the pretty yellow pot have drainage holes or no?
    The pot I want to use doesn’t have drainage holes so this is why I’m wondering
    Thank you

    Hello! I bought this plant at the beginning of last month, and all the flowers have bloomed. I think it's outgrowing its current pot which is self-watering. I just fill the bottom with water. Can I pot it in a terracotta pot and water like other plants or does it have to be watered from the bottom? Sorry for the long question!

      These like more water than most succulents, but I allow mine to dry out between waterings. Good luck with your new plant!

    always ended up killed this blossfeldiana, idont know why ...even change the soil into fully porous but i still killed it, and all kinds of crassulas too i always killed them lmao .... the only kalanchoe that i found hardy is the humilis one

    • @GiveitaGrow
      @GiveitaGrow  7 лет назад +5

      Could be a watering issue, succulents respond well to completely drying between waterings, then soaking the soil completely.

    I just bought my first flowering kalanchoe. I find it amazing that it's a succulent and a cousin of the panda plant! Also I have a question, do they like more water than a typical succulent?

    • @GiveitaGrow
      @GiveitaGrow  6 лет назад +2

      I think they do like more water, but I still like to let them dry out between waterings.

    My plant (which I bought one month ago) seemed to be adapting, then my cat knocked it over and it broke off. It has been dying, and now I am left with one sad, small stem which I have repotted. Is it possible to regrow roots from a stem? Will I get it to grow back to its original size of about 10 inches? How long will I have to wait to see if the root has grown?,😢😧

    • @GiveitaGrow
      @GiveitaGrow  5 лет назад +1

      I like to grow stem cutting in water. They seem to root quickly and it is fun to watch them grow. Just give it lots of light and keep the water fresh until there are enough roots to plant it back in soil.

      More sun, the warm color spectrum light (yellow/orange) can trigger plants to flower, and nothing is better than natural sunlight. Fertilizer can help too, diluted with water, a little feed once a moth should help.

  • @lovedunkin

    That was painful to watch. You don't "pluck" the dead flowers. Please learn how to deadhead that poor thing.
