They would've still be 10-power when revealed making Surtur activate twice even if they went down in power later when Agent reveals. Not that it mattered in the end in this case, but it could've made the difference so I just wanted to point that out in case someone sees this and it helps them understand the importance of play order. I think surtur is my new favorite card. I’ve been trying a moon girl she hulk black panther deck which has been going pretty well. but I’m gonna try this one out also. I don’t have ghost or kitt though so I think I’ll try with Luke and America or rocket.
Hey! Thanks for trying the deck. Kitty is the least important card of the deck so easy to switch out. I'd probably go for rocket with how draw/play goes sometimes. When you don't get Sera but you do have turn 7 you play a 1 drop with Infinaut and she hulk - rocket has more use in that moment than America would. But I do love America so it's a good option too. Ghost is also non essential, I just think not having priority helps dodge shadow kings and Shangs. Sure you lose priority when you skip turn 6 but sometimes that doesn't happen. However - not need and I think Luke Cage is the best alternative to Ghost

I was trying to figure out this concept with Surtur Magik and the old double up combo with Moon Girl and Infi/SH. I think you cracked the code. It's not about doubling up, it's about slamming

Nice deck, really wanna give it a shot and I have all but U.S. Agent. It didn't end up mattering but in the Tarnax game you played U.S Agent before your She-Hulks. If you would have dropped She- Hulks first and left U.S. Agent till last you would have got 2 more Surtur triggers since he only cares about the final power of the card after the effects resolve on it being played. Playing Typhoid Mary in my Surtur decks taught me this the hard way when I'd play another 10 power card alongside her and miss my trigger.

Surtur is carrying me this season, I'm using the popular one with zabu, zero, armor, cosmo and all the 4/10s, unfortunately I don't have skaar so i use magneto and red hulk as replacements

you can replace magik + leech with electro + war machine. Still able to play infunaut + shehulk in turn 6. Since theres alot way to replace limbo. Imo as limbo hater
Gonna check back later. First game I got unlucky. At my skipped turn 6 other Player replaced his cards with sersi and one switched to legion, replacing my Limbo and ending the game at 6 with me barely having anything on Board 😂
Not too well, but I went back to my current ladder riser, which is a brood/cassandra/Shaw Surfer Deck. I also have very bad draw and location luck, so my mileage is not a good baseline
Yeah I just like my Leech variant so I'm always looking for excuses to play him. The immediate thought would be to switch out Kate Bishop for Goose and Leech for War Machine - that way if you don't get limbo you can still play Infinaut and you are locking down a location against 4 cost 10 powers in most Surtur decks you would go against Thanks for the sub! yeah it's a good swap. Leech is just a card I like and I ran into problems with hand size with moon girl. It would be sweet to slam down 2 she hulks, 2 hulk busters, and an Infinaut on turn 7 but with skipping turns and needing the right cards my hand always got too big for that to work.

Me too1 lol it's because Ghost was in the previous version of this deck I had and I didn't give enough thought to a replacement. Really, any good 3 drops of your choice should work. I thought about Copycat but with the Surtur decks copying a Crossbones, Cull Obsidian or Typhoid Mary would be bad. Mobius M. Mobius might be a good addition as a tech card against Skaar decks

So I'm thinking Shadow King (play before you buff Surtur or on a different lane) Lizard Medusa Maximus (especially on turn 7) Mojo (8 power is big if you can play it right) Goose White Widow With the current Surtur meta that is everywhere I would probably run Goose and make it hard for them to play their 10-power card

Well ghost honestly isn't really needed, just replace that with a good 3 drop of your choice. You end up losing priority by skipping a whole turn and then there is no need for Ghost. She-Hulk on the other hand is more essential. If you have a War Machine, I will switch that in for Leech - then play Infinaut on 6 and any other good 10 powers on 7. If you don't have War Machine, I would honestly take out Infinaut and rework the deck. You could follow the same idea with Magik and Sera, but just play 10+ power cards on 6 and 7 with a discount.
Yeah that completely ruins the plan. Which there is a version you can make of this deck with war machine that doesn't use she hulk. Maybe I'll make a short video on it

No shame in that deck - it's a fantastic deck. it is also really fun to play these big 10 power cards we never really get to.
If you need another 4 drop - Warpath works with Surtur if you have a lane empty
