My mother was a Bettencourt born on Graciosa. When her mother died at an early age, her father brought the family, three girls and a boy, to Massachusetts. She returned with her father for a visit when she was 13 in the 1920's. I am the oldest son. I have two brothers and the three of us visited the Acores about 4 years ago. We did not get to Graciosa. I wonder if you Pedro are related.
Hi Im from Santa Cruz Graciosa ! Family name is Coutinho. Coutinho's are still in Graciosa but my family immigrated to California in the late 70's Happy to finally see someone having ties with Graciosa . I went and it was beautiful. It has been years but I hope to return at least one more time. I hope you visit as well. Tranquil place.
