- A visit to the colorful and historic colonia of San Ángel in the south of Mexico City. This area used to be way outside of Mexico City proper but has become accessible to the population in recent years due to mass transit via major highways. We check in at the Saturday handicrafts and art bazaar known as Bazaar del Sabado, or simply Bazar Sabado. We take you to Parque la Bombilla, walk past the San Angel Flower Market and the Templo del Carmen to the art in the park festival of El Jardin del Arte, where we talk with some of the local artists. We also take a quick look at some of the artisanal, handcrafted clothing, jewelry and artwork for sale in the bazaar.

Amazing video guys! Thanks for a more in depth perspective into the art scene of CMX!
Not only did the actual content of your video prove to be on point on our way to Bazar Sábado, but I just wanted to compliment you on the effective delivery and execution of the clip overall. Both your voices naturally lend themselves to recording, but the way you knew to alternate the narrations was outstanding. Keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to watching more videos as I travel around Mexico City!
muy buen video
An art lover's paradise!
Yes, very relaxing to stroll, see new art, talk with the artists and crafters and best of all, no admission fee!
@@AliceandGreg Right on!
Dang, that mole looks bomb! And I am definitely headed there in a few weeks. I appreciate the artistry of these crafts. They are worlds away from the mass produced crafts you find at other places. Although places like these are dangerous cuz' I'm running out of room in my canton!
YES, the mole at El Cardenal is worth the price of admission. Enjoy!
