I love how "very pleased with the results" is demonstrated by walking off camera without saying a word or showing any emotion. Don't worry, I do exactly the same thing in my videos. In the videos where results are unsatisfactory you either get the same reaction or the parts get tossed instead of gently handled. That's how I know in videos if the results are good ... if the wood is handled gingerly after the resaw (or whatever operation). Excellent demonstration by the way. I am looking into making one of these for myself as I have the need to do resaws by hand. Thanks for the video. I agree, great results.

Really nice. I have terrible luck on bandsaws so I was thinking of trying something like this. Thanks for sharing

    How long is your saw?

The saw blade is 25" long. I cut the blank out of an old yard sale crosscut saw I picked up for a couple of dollars.

Please change that smoke alarm battery. It can’t save your life if you don’t give it a chance to do so.

All these Roubo frame saws are too short, because you never get to fully extend your arms, so its about an ergonomic loss of about 20% work inefficiency.

I'm always willing to learn. I would be interested to see a RUclips video of you using the one you have made.

The big problem I think is getting a full-sized blade on the cheap. He's using a 2 dollar rip saw blade he recut for this and it's probably 26 inches long. For 2 bucks that's a pretty good deal. If you want a 36 inch or 48 inch roubo, the blades are 100 dollars alone and kind of high for a lot of people. I want to build a 48 inch, But i'm not dropping 130 bucks for 10 bucks worth of metal, jmo...
