    Hello !! Can you please explain if its okay for steam to come out at all time while on stove with the cooking side selected ??? I tried it 2 time and both time pressure valve was up to i know steam was inside but from other side it always leaks :(
    Thanks

  • @lylesquires9265

    Thank you for the info! I thought that pressure coming out of the pressure valve meant it was broken!! Question: does your food stick to the bottom because it is on high for 8 minutes with no stirring? Or is it okay?

    • @ModernCreativeIdeas
      @ModernCreativeIdeas  2 года назад

      Haha! No, the pressure has to release from the pressure valve only. If pressure or steam is coming out from the sides then it's not safe. I usually cook gravy with lots of water, so that's why I keep it on high. If you're not using much water in your recipe then keep it on medium. Food doesn't stick to the bottom unless there isn't enough water. Make sure you stir well before you lock the lid. Hope this helps!

    • @ModernCreativeIdeas
      @ModernCreativeIdeas  8 месяцев назад

      Hi there, I never used traditional whistle pressure cooker ever in my life. This is first ever Pressure cooker I used. So I always estimate the time for each recipe whatever I cook in this cooker. So far rice and instant rice pudding I made special video you can check that out or wait for my upcoming daily vlog I will discuss this topic in detail. I hope this help.

    What if i want to cook bone broth for lets say 4 hours, till bones soften up and becomes really mushy.. what to do in this case?

    • @ModernCreativeIdeas
      @ModernCreativeIdeas  2 года назад

      My Pleasure!! I never cooked this recipe. I made a special video on three recipes with measurement and timing in this pressure cooker. If you would like to get some ideas check out this link: Tfal pressure cooker recipes: ruclips.net/video/LjFbTgDwBXM/видео.html
      I would recommend when starting a new recipe to start with less time, for example cook a new recipe for 10 minutes then after 10 minutes release the pressure, and check if your food is fully cooked. Repeat this process in intervals if the food isn't fully cooked. You can learn the timing and measurements for all recipes through trial and error, it is difficult to give exact timings as all pressure cookers vary. All the recipes in this pressure cooker take different amounts of time. I learned all my recipes this way, experiment with your pressure cooker, to find the right timings for various recipes. I hope this helps!

    • @ModernCreativeIdeas

      Hi there, It's all depend on stove temperature watts etc. I started with high temperature until pressure, then I put on medium heat. Because my stove temperature is so high. I hope this help and thanks for watching this video.

    Hi I’m trying my new clipso and the stream just came out from the side of the lid but not from the valve, I think it’s not right but I have tried to close the lid many times and it looks right.

    • @ModernCreativeIdeas
      @ModernCreativeIdeas  3 года назад

      Hi, The steam is supposed to come out of the pressure valve, if the pressure cooker is releasing steam from the sides, it means that the lid hasn't been closed properly, hence the reason why the steam is escaping from the sides and not the pressure valve. You can release the pressure, from the pressure valve, secure the rubber again, and then
      re-secure the lid. I shared how to do all of this in detail in this video. Hope this helps!

    • @lizz6071
      @lizz6071 3 года назад

      @@ModernCreativeIdeas thank you for your reply. I think I have to give it more time, when it boils there stream coming out from the side of the lid but after awhile it stops and started to come out from the valve, I don’t know why it doesn’t work for the first couple times, but seems it works now, thank you for your sharing!

    • @ModernCreativeIdeas
      @ModernCreativeIdeas  3 года назад

      Np!! If you're still experiencing the same problem, check the pressure valve, it must be clean prior to usage. This video properly explains how to clean it, your pressure valve could also be clogged. Did you check the pressure of your pressure cooker, before cooking anything? If not, you can test it by simply boiling water and checking to see if steams escapes from the valve or not, this has also been shared in this video. Another thing to keep in mind is before operating your pressure cooker, make sure the black rubber seal (around the lid) is secured properly, and flush to the sides of lid. If there are any gaps that may be why the steam is escaping. If you are a beginner, check out my video on various recipes to make using this pressure cooker with timings, measurements etc. ruclips.net/video/LjFbTgDwBXM/видео.html Hope this helps, if you have any other questions, I will happy to answer!! Enjoy the rest of your day!!

      I’m having the same problem with steam coming out under the lid. The pot doesn’t pressure up. The lid is sloppy fitting even with the clips engaged. I’m wondering if the gasket isn’t good. How thick should the gasket be? Mine is about 15mm

    What do you mean never full it more than 1/3 if I have a higher volume of foods that I'm cooking let's say for example I am cooking curried goat for a large amount and it's going to go over a third are you telling me that it's not going to cook or there's a risk of spill I'm not understanding you because if I have a higher volume of food to cook in the pressure cooker would I not need to add more water is going to come above the 1/3 mark
