Great story guys. Just for the record they have been growing cotton up there since the sixties. I have a friend who I used to aerial spray cotton for in Moree who grew cotton up there then. It’s a beautiful place with soooo much water to irrigate with. Keep up the good work.
Thank You Guy's, Such an informative well documented and presented series with high quality photography you're creating. You just knowingly have the knack to present a perspective that many just fly past of any area you visit. So wonderfull to see the success of The Ord River Scheme, I learnt so much about in my 1950's primary school classroom, as it was being created. Guess why I have a soft spot to the area and for such an amazing asset the pioneers had the foresight to create for all future generations. Wonderfull to see it going strength to strength in each generation just as it was designed to do. Looking forward to you're next episode. 🥂🍺🍺🦋
Love the drone footage. It really shows a great overall perspective. Focusing on local industry is a great idea. We would love to see you do more of this wherever you’re exploring.
You did a great job with the drone Chris. Always found cotton interesting and love finding some on the side of the road. Great interesting shots, well done.
You guys do such an amazing job at promoting the region you are in. What an informative vid. They should pay you for being there. Not boring at all! None of the content was boring. Chris, the drone footage was captivating ! Great job very professional. Sian, great narration and good luck with the weeny cotton plant. We look forward to seeing it develop (or not) 😋👏👏👏👍😉😎🍻🦆
Epic drone footage. Chris the perspectives you were able to capture were amazing. Both of you are fantastic presenters. Your videos are always positive and informative.
Thanks that was really interesting and informative, we will definately stay in the Kununurra area for a while when we get up that way. Chris you are a great pilot and the shots you do are very interesting and show off the area amazingly
Chris, great images on the drone. How good was Blocko. Great to meet these characters and that you can share it with your family and everyone else. Really enjoy your vlogs
Love the drone footage of the cotton fields. You both do such a fantastic job of promoting this beautiful country and show us places we've never seen before. We love all your videos and definitely enjoyed the cotton fields and sandalwood tutorials. Keep up the great work! 😀
Okay here's my take on your "Boring". I'm a Country lad that does it on a big scale and appreciate you showing off the Agricultural side of Australia. TBH I don't think I've seen another channel actually show this stuff... maybe why they aren't called "Big Oz" haha.....There's another scale of Farming in the W.A. Wheatbelt areas that will be worth your while. Great Vid...again !
Great to see farming on the west side... cant wait to get over that way to check it out myself someday. (Farmers never get sick of looking over the fence at other farmers)🤣🧑🌾🍻
Great job with the drone. Was great learning about the cotton and then seeing the crop 3 weeks later was fantastic. Sandalwood lesson was also interesting. Great work again. cheers G & K
@@BigOzExplorers 😀 even Karens 92 yr old mum watches with us. Our grand daughter is about 6 months behind little Jack so we watch his progress and get a lot of joy 👍
Great to see the cotton fields in Kununurra! My father used to talk about the amazing irrigation areas in the Argyle/Ord river regions many moons ago. I would be interested to know what is the slope/fall of the land (land grading) made, to allow for the speed of the ‘flooding’ irrigation method used for that time period mentioned, on those huge paddocks on the farm you visited. (Ol farm raised girl here ;)) ) Also to hear of the growing of & how too of the Sandalwood. I’ll definitely check out the Sandalwood online store, great to know as Sandalwood is my most fav fragrance! Thank you for sharing this very fascinating and informative information esp comparing cotton growing in Sth west Qld (?) Cheers Jen. 🐨 PS Chris, excellent viewing of your drone footage, again!!🌟
What an incredible footage! You guys did great content in this video. Well done guys. We totally loved it! Can we have more like this? As always Chris your drone footage is great. Well done mate. Sian and Chrid thank you both for what you do.
We have another one similar coming up in two weeks time for pearl farming north of Broome, we are going to do more like it because it was such a hit! Thanks for all the feedback too 🥰🙏🏻
Wow I spend 2-3 months a year travelling I'm based in WA and have only spent 1 day in Kununurra.... Cheers for all the info im definitely going back there
How impressive and comfortable are those tractor cabins? Also the GPS systems they use are leaps and bounds over anything automotive. I have done a lot of work for an agricultural machinery manufacturer.
Hi, I’m retiring next year and my wife and I were wondering what drone and editing program you use so we can make some videos of our trip around Australia for my daughters and grandkids of our travels , any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks Laurie and Sabine from Darwin 👍😃
Guessing you will keep your cotton plant until the inspection station near Ceduna in SA. That's assuming you guys keep on doing the big lap in a anti clockwise direction.
You guys are who inspired me to get a drone, great editing as well, keep doing what you do and love, I'm learning both skills at the moment. Love to all.
Footage was awesome to answer your question, now about the birds attacking the drone do the sensors move the drone away from the bird as part of collision avoidance?
It depends on the bird and speed of the bird to be honest! Sometimes it does but not really enough for the drone to move as it happens so fast, just a quick notification on screen.
Nugget!!!!!! You know your gonna have to explain that nick name mate! I have been flying drones for 4 years or more now,, I have some DJI drones and some FPV racing drones.. your getting better for sure. The video you did here is great mate! as always good job guys! Oh, i just placed a order for Vegemite ! have always wanted to try it.😁
Not only do you promote great locations in our great country but you promote great businesses as well. Well done to you both. We hit the road in May. If we ever run into you on the road, we’d love to shout you guys a Great Northern. P.S. Love the drone footage Chris.

Ah dammit - 6pm is back to being 6pm! Bloody daylight saving 🙁. I missed the premiere
Daylight savings confuses me so much still (as QLD didn't have them!) ... Hope you'll still be able to make some of the Premiere's? 😢
please read your facebook pm asap
Sorry, least favourite episode for me, but all the others are great. Glad this wasn't my first though, haha. It would be my last
