- It's here! Flunitrazolam is a legal designer benzo that was not described in literature/patents before its sale online. It is active at 0.1 mg and one of the most potent of its class. It is mainly a muscle relaxant and hypnotic, barely producing the other effects that we normally see in this class.

Yes in Quebec and Canada Benzo are highly restricted. Clozapam was prescribed for anxiety but 1/4 of an 0.5 mg makes me sleep for 2 to 3 days min. 20 to 60 hrs shelf life. Very potent meds. High anxiety can be treated but they can be a clutch.

I take Lorazepam (Ativan) for panic disorder, agoraphobia, general anxiety disorder and, social anxiety disorder. It literally saved me. It’s a miracle drug but I can 1000% see why it’s so addictive. All of your problems, physical and mental just melt away as soon as it kicks in. It’s like floating on a cloud.

I have insomnia since I was born. I have genetic dopamine receptors problem, and after neuroleptics and other dopamine blocking substances that are claimed to be " non-addictive" I suffered from RLS in every muscle of my body to the point of biting myself to blood or almost ripping my muscles just to end this hell.
Flunitrazepam I tried only once. It was the best sleep of my life. Every day I use doses of benzos, benadryl and heroin that should ( according to wikipedia) kill at least 10 people just to sleep a few hours. Going off quetiapine was about two months of no more than 2 hours of light sleep daily, not much better than morphine detox. Going off benzos isn't nice, but its nothing compared to living with no sleep aid for me.

If I hadn't read chemistry A and B, or trimesters 1 and 2 as some countrys call it, I would have no clue to how to follow what you are doing (Like you just say TLC instead of Thin Lair Chromatography), however this procedure makes me wounder how the hades they did discover benzos in the first place, I mean it's not all that obvious, and who did they test it on to find out the properties of it on humans?
I assume they found precursors had some effect and probably tested it on animals first. Then again it was the 50's so maybe they just YOLO'd it

There must have been a pre-thought behind it, you just can't just arrive at this at random.
Usually it starts out by discovering an effect by some plant or animal made chemical, as it gets tested out its structure is identified and then chemists usually fuck around and find out, one way or the other
@@williamabrahamsson2945 prolly some kind of plant material was found by tasting something for characterisation(old chem books have color, crystal shape, smell AND TASTE listed as properties at stuff like mercury and crazy shit like that) that had some kind of effect. then they fucked around with the molecule and found other analouges

gotta keep your plausible deniability as far as accidentally creating any illegal products. assuming he has properly disposed of everything he made in this video, nobody will ever be able to prove that he made something illegal if he somehow did by accident. Can't say the same if you use a university's NMR or mass spectrometer to analyze your products, those test results will be stored somewhere out of your control from which the police can subpoena them.
Ive been on clonazepam for a few years now. It works well but the withdrawals have had me near death. I'd love to see a clonazepam synthesis (i already have the info but i won't do it myself)
Or alprazolam synthesis would be cool too. Always been curious how people made it because black market alprazolam is super common where I live and it's cheap, I figure it can't be too hard to make or it would be very expensive

@@stevengill1736lot of people like clonazolam. If it's just in pill form, normal dose, NOT 0.5mg, like they used to do, it's fine. Bad things can happen with overdosed pills or pure benzo powders

Benzos are pretty easy to obtain here (with a prescription). Honestly, they were the only ones which worked for my anxiety and I've always made sure to never abuse them cause I know how powerful they are. Wish there was something safer though :/
I like to see the your creation of substances..before and maybe till now it was some kind of big riddle in witch craft for me, only knew the chemical basics from school.. the synthesis of your the last products ibecome a really interesting click bate :P and I have the oppinion knowledge is better as prohibition..but it is better to keep in mind that this product is a potential dangerous substance, adictive, and dangerous in traffic of people with less knowledge about the background of benzodiazepines.. in medicine really great and necessary, but as I heard a hell in abuse! I'd love if you did pyrazolam next, I don't usually use benzos, but the odd time when I've need one I found pyrazolam to be absolutoully perfect.
Mild sedation for relaxing tense muscles, excellent anxiety reduction and yet almost zero mental fog/memory impairment and a low risk of blacking out even if you accidentally take a high dose.
I'm genuinely kind of shocked that it isn't a prescribed medication, it does everything you want a benzo to do without the nasty side effects.
Iirc the law covers designer drugs in the sense that analogues/derivatives classified within the same benzo family are/can still be treated as its respective drug schedule tier.
Hi Chemiolis! Big fan here, as well as general chemistry itself. As you go through legal substances and make them in your videos, I think you should try making DXM! It's a legal drug that can be bought anywhere, even in it's freebase pure form online easily shipped anywhere with no restrictions, but when taken in high doses as it becomes a low-affinity ndma recepter antagonist, etc. Thought it would be a good idea, farewell!

Maybe you could do a Bromantane synthesis: non-amphetamine stimulant/nootropic, apparently not addictive and very few side-effects.
Damn! I am impressed. You have good skills to be able to perform this synthesis. As far as benzos are concerned, they are highly addictive. But they can serve an essential function for minimizing anxiety. If you are prescribed them just make sure you minimize your use, both dosage and frequency. And switch off completely on a periodic basis to try to minimize your dependency. If you use high dosages for a couple of years straight any sudden withdrawal is going to be severely uncomfortable and painful. That's why the best use if you have to at all is for very short term in response to some stressful life event rather than as a daily coping mechanism for dealing with life in general. I am a very hyperactive person with an extremely high metabolism and nervousness. But in addition, growing up I was exposed to very stressful events and situations at a very young age. I became very withdrawn and uncomfortable in any social setting. I was not confident in opening up to other people unless I used an artificial substance to relax myself and reduce my anxiety.
I think you should make the benzophenone, as it is not difficult and an important step, although you can even use the simple Friedel-Crafft acylation as well as several other reactions.
There are also the partial agonists, that are far safer, but not marketed in the west, except for flumazenil which is used for antagonist (although it is very weakly agonistic).
I wish we could discover compounds that lets someone go thru opiate withdrawals without utterly dying. If something like that is discovered it could help so many people

Mate you left your product in the column. Def elute that column into 150 ml Erlenmeyer flask and take a TLC of that. It may show you what is left in the column.
There is no way any of said precursors are available for purchase by amateur home chemists. At least in the states.

I think bulk of your products were lost with the tar precipitation step, just use quick column chromatography with thin silica gel layer to remove any tar.
At least you have SOMETHING with which to mitigate the anxiety and exasperations of the synthesis .

You gotta be careful. They've banned quite a few RC (designer) benzo's over the years here in netherlands, i.e. diclazepam, flualprazolam and clonazolam. I think this flunitrazolam is a good candidate for them to ban next, along with bromazolam.
Saying this, benzo's go on List 2 of Opiumwet, so it's not super illegal
They want to implement a blanket ban on many designer/RC classes but it moves really slow. Unsure why, but I'm sure they realize it doesn't actually fix anything because there will just be other classes used that might be more dangerous. Besides, the gov earns a lot of taxes from keeping it legal. If they make it illegal that doesn't really matter to me (or the video).

I take lorazepam for my panic attacks and I noticed if I take 6 to 8 mg I am stoned for up to three days straight and my memory is nonexistent during that time. Lovely stuff to deal with anxiety and panic attacks horrible stuff in the sense that it can cause lasting damage.
That sounds like a lot! I’ve been on it, and at first 1mg made me have to lie down because sitting up hurt … you get used to it fast though I guess, was on it consistently for 3 months and got to the point it wasn’t doing anything but preventing withdrawal, then had to be tapered off, which was BAD. Really is nothing like it for anxiety many a night I lie down and realise I’ll never sleep so well again, and when I’m having a rough patch I always wish I could still have it … alas no.
