❤ you geeking about the colors 😊 Knowing you feel poorly, it was good to see you still able to enjoy the openings! I got advent “happy”… I have 3 of 5 on the needles. One is done for the day, one is a 2-day pace. The third I am making the Trifle Wrap. + I am doing the Tellybean MKAL. (Cowl) The other 2 advents, I have plans for, but I have not opened. I want to finish the twelve rows of the wrap to the next section before seeing the colors. I know there is no way to keep up with all, but I have several vacation days this month, gonna give it a try! 😂

Hope you feel better soon! With Gnana you might try going on a little and see how the colors work in the reverse. The undyed would be good for hands, nose, beard and hair (C 4). Your colors are pretty. I had to go out and buy the US 2/2.75 needles today the only 2’s I had were very short double pointed needles🤪 Loved seeing all the advents! All I got was stitch markers this year. I did get. The Christmas Eve by Botanical Yarn with the Twinset and Purl pattern. I also got the Hibernation shawl kit. I’ll have to remember Toft for next year ! Congratulations on your 2nd anniversary!🎄💗🧶

Hi Emily. If you’re a Ravelry user, you can join Sarah’s group, Imagined Landscapes. The folks in there are wonderful. You can show them a photo of your work and get opinions on your color choices. Sarah will probably reply as well, or you can specifically tag her, to get her advice. I think it’s fine, but it’s all about you and your gnome being happy not the rest of us being happy. The one downside of a mystery project is the not knowing. Happy Anniversary and feel better soon. Rob too.

Hang in there Emily and rest up! Change the gnome colours if you need to. I had a large glass of wine last night and couldn’t count to save myself😂. Then did not like my colours and ripped everything out and started again!
You could just reverse the order of the advent after 12. So open 1-12, then open 24 and count backwards to 13. You'll be able to keep working on your sweater, and you'll still be opening one package per day!
Get well soon! I agree with the comment to try a hot toddy (lemon, honey and whiskey/brandy in hot water, just in case you didn't already know). I assume lemsips are the same as our medlemon (basically a hot drink with paracetamel). With regards to the colours for Gnana, I would change out the yellow, but that's mostly because I don't like any yellow with any reddish coloured wool. Your who needs wings green would be super contrasty with that reddish purple! Might be too much for an older gnome though! but the blue or another pale green would look great in my opinion.
I wish lemsips made me as perky as they do to you. Hope you get better soon but would it be Vlogmas if you weren’t poorly? I’m so envious of your Yarn Artist Advent as I love Van Gogh too (psst i think that one’s just called landscape with houses) That project bag is amazing! I would have gotten it too but I’d decided by the point I’d seen it I’d had pre ordered enough advents. Can’t wait to see what that one looks like when you use it as your previous make from her advent was/is gorgeous.
