TOP kept his word when he said he doesn’t wanna involve with humans anymore. Look at him, at the moon, away from Earth, away from the people who hurt him. Their hiatus was too much. This song kind of saying they are telling their fans goodbye to bigbang era. All of them actually disappears in their own scenes basically telling us they’re taking new path (moon with no TOP, chairs with no Dae, ship with no Tae and directors chair with no GD). 16 years was a blessing to us fans and they came back to the fans who waited, not to the media who harassed them for years. What i notice the most is the color of the umbrella. Back then, gd painted seungri (ex member) using a lot of colorful paint and finishes it with black paint. The inner side of umbrella is a rainbow color while the outside is black. Same as the painting. The lalala must be a homage to their debut song. The ending logo was the icon of MADE album/era. The 5 lines represents the member. Its like bigbang is always 5.

At the chair scene part. They are originally 5 member group, but some things happened and the maknae(youngest) left. So the four chairs represents the members and G-dragon's chair is separated because he's the leader of the group. Notice on the 4-chair-scene part, the last chair is a bit broken? That's because it represents Seungri, the member who left bigbang. That's also why at the end, we can see 5 lines because originally they had 5 members. And the part where the line "Four seasons with no reason" was said. I've read that it meant, what was the meaning of continuing when they were not complete anymore? Something like that. I hope that makes sense but yeah.
Actually the 4 chairs are much more symbolic if you are going to incorporate the logo they've used at the end. Yes, they show 4 chairs but they have used the ot5 logo. My theory is that they don't want to continue as BIGBANG with only the 4 of them because they were MADE to be five(MADE is also literally the title of their album with a logo with five lines symbolizing each one). Also the kwon jiyong chair with the director in it is an old prop from gdragon's kwon ji yong album. Kwon ji yong for me can be considered an alter ego because the whole album and everything in it separates gd to jiyong. And gd walking away from it in the mv may symbolize him being the gdragon again we've known from the past??? I don't know anymore haha. And the person behind daesung is also him, he's just the younger him. What's interesting also is TOP's scene. He is a rabbit on the moon and it's very common among asian folklore tahat a rabbit on the moon symbolises rebirth, also referencing all his past issues. I'm a VVIP and I have been following Seungri's case ever since it started (with help of Korean lawyers from VLM who explained lot of stuff about it very well and I also discussed it a lot with our firm's lawyer). But I don't want to talk about that, since Jordan was amazing enough to keep it aside and not disrespect him in the reaction. I wanna point out the symbolism - the 4 chairs (one on the right side broken) plus one for director - it's 4 members (Seungri as maknae on the right, broken, cause he can't be with them) and director seat for the leader. 4 flowers - if you look closely - G-Dragon is holding a fifth flower in his right hand. GD is also wearing a heart ring that is blue (Seungri's color in BB) and the ring is called Victorian ring if you look it up - Seungri's name literally means Victory and his Japanesse stage name is VI - you can see VI (mirrored) next to GDs director chair. Also to chairs once again - Daesung was sitting on it, but he didn't sit on the last one, cause he isn't maknae. GDs umbrella (black from outside, rainbow from inside) - GD once painted Ri with bright colors and then hid it under black, literally saying "you are behind this black". Daesung watching someone while singing "For the day, the moment that will come again someday (for you)" - which also indicates it's reffering to Seungri. And the line GD sings at the end of his first verse - 마침내 마치 넷이 못내 that YG translated as "finally the 4 at last" is incorrectly translated (according to Koreans) because 못내 is also the way to pronounce when a spacing is applied as 못 내, which literally means 'we can't do', 못 = can't, 내=comes from verd 내다, which a verb that indicates someone or something does a thing or a job with his/her/its capability. So the more accurate translation for that part would be "4 of us can't get through" or "4 of us can't do it anymore". So the conclusion VIPs came to was - it's goodbye until Seungri comes back. Also the 5 lines at the end - 3 goes right way representing GD, YB and Dae who are still with YG and together and 2 goes left way representing TOP and Seungri who left YG and the group for now.
I just realized, when TOP said in his prestige interview, he is not in line with the band's direction anymore, I think he meant he doesn't want to do group stuff if Bigbang is gonna go on as four anymore. And I'm pretty sure all the members feel the same way. They might be planning to go in solos for a while, until maknae can return.

There is a past interview from BIGBANG MADE The Movie. The interviewer/reporter ask GDRAGON "What is BIGBANG members to you?" GDRAGON says, "BIGBANG is a square to me. This is song is just meaningful. I've known bigbang for a long time now way before I became a kpop fan. I think not just VIP's know what they've been through but also the whole kpop industry. They've been in scandals and tough points in their careers and the lyrics of the song shows how they're going to move on, but also missing those happy times. It's like they're also saying our past may be full of heartache but we can also find happiness in them.
I only listened to this song yesterday and it made me cry so much that wen it got to TOPs bit I had to turn it off as I just couldn't listen to it fully. It's not that I dislike it its opposite I love it its just that it made me feel sad and made me cry I just didn't realise how much I miss this group until this comeback. I love them so much as artists and people. They are such legends. This song is just so beautiful

I'm going to throw out a crazy theory, it could be that GD has the director's chair with his name on it because from now on he will be a "producer" or "director" within YG, for example for new Treasure comebacks. Recently he was in a picture with Treasure members with the look of this MV (so it's recent), and so he becomes a new Teddy in YG.
It's just an intuitive guess, but I assume the director's chair simply means that G-Dragon provided the direction of the music video as he is deeply involved in his craft and has produced and written the music for BIGBANG ever since their debut. It's an emotional and tearful comeback for many fans, myself included, since so many of us have spent our teens and twenties growing up listening to BIGBANG, a group that has created great music since 15-16 years ago. A series of unfortunate events have stalled the long-awaited comeback, but I hope you too will be able to enjoy their upcoming (or past) music in whatever form that may be. As you mentioned DaeSung (the one with hair over his eyes) had somebody in his background. That represented him looking at younger himself. Also in his lyrics he sings goodbye to his youth. T.O.P is the only one out of the Earth, because he has already left YGEnt and he is the first one, who announced his plans from now on. In his lyrics he is burying his past times, when he tried to take his life, that’s why he is wearing the mask throughout his section. TaeYang and his ship covered with flowers might represent that his journey had finished, that he has already reach the destination. I assume this because he is married and has a child, so he might focus on family from now on/for a while. G-Dragon as a director means he is the leader and he has been leading that group the whole time. As the salm says, they have been through something (that’s why G-Dragon’s scene have signs saying: “wrong way” etc or DaeSung have a badge with “I am a mess”) and now they are thanking God/fans for their help and understanding. And for the end, and this is just my pure guess, their hairstyle reflect their season. TaeYang has longer hair but not that much long as it is started to grow as sprouts in spring. G-Dragon has the longest hair with many colours as colourful summer. DaeSung has pure brown with curls at the end as falling leaves. T.O.P has white foundation with aurora-like purple, which reminds me of a winter.
I actually didn't notice until now that the GD Director's Chair shot had one chair but four spotlights. The symbolism (to me) is that the other group members might be choosing to step away from the spotlight of BIGBANG to focus on their own activities (parenthood, other promotions, etc.), but GD, being the massive influence in Korean culture, as well as the driving force behind BIGBANG's music, must continue on as a public figure, and be the public carrier of the legacy of BIGBANG.
Just an interruption, Spring set symbolized Young-bae's current life where he is a father and a husband. GD is summer he has a lot of creative projects to share (fashion and etc) and GD is mostly the writer and producer of their song (all of them are so talented). I am not good at English. Please understand me roughly. Kwon Ji-yong's chair was used for 2017 GD Solo Album: Kwon Ji-yong. What the scene means is that it is glorious and missed. They don't need fancy transitions or everything..they're just organic and artistic, their music is top tier even for now lol
At the chair scene part. They are originally 5 member group, but some things happened and the maknae(youngest) left. So the four chairs represents the members and G-dragon's chair is separated because he's the leader of the group. Notice on the 4-chair-scene part, the last chair is a bit broken? That's because it represents Seungri, the member who left bigbang. That's also why at the end, we can see 5 lines because originally they had 5 members. And the part where the line "Four seasons with no reason" was said. I've read that it meant, what was the meaning of continuing when they were not complete anymore? Something like that. I hope that makes sense but yeah.

Actually the 4 chairs are much more symbolic if you are going to incorporate the logo they've used at the end. Yes, they show 4 chairs but they have used the ot5 logo. My theory is that they don't want to continue as BIGBANG with only the 4 of them because they were MADE to be five(MADE is also literally the title of their album with a logo with five lines symbolizing each one). Also the kwon jiyong chair with the director in it is an old prop from gdragon's kwon ji yong album. Kwon ji yong for me can be considered an alter ego because the whole album and everything in it separates gd to jiyong. And gd walking away from it in the mv may symbolize him being the gdragon again we've known from the past??? I don't know anymore haha. And the person behind daesung is also him, he's just the younger him. What's interesting also is TOP's scene. He is a rabbit on the moon and it's very common among asian folklore tahat a rabbit on the moon symbolises rebirth, also referencing all his past issues. I just love the mv so much it speaks so much to the fans.

It's beenn 4 days trying to understand this MV but we can't figure it out what does it really means .. am commenting on Deasung scene where he's looking at someone and then walking away so if u read the lyrics of this part there is a ''For the day, the moment that will come again someday "For you''" it could be they meant Seungri by it and then there's this Lalalalala part which in my opinion was supposed to be Seungri part too .. 😔

I'm a VVIP and I have been following Seungri's case ever since it started (with help of Korean lawyers from VLM who explained lot of stuff about it very well and I also discussed it a lot with our firm's lawyer). But I don't want to talk about that, since Jordan was amazing enough to keep it aside and not disrespect him in the reaction.
I wanna point out the symbolism - the 4 chairs (one on the right side broken) plus one for director - it's 4 members (Seungri as maknae on the right, broken, cause he can't be with them) and director seat for the leader.
4 flowers - if you look closely - G-Dragon is holding a fifth flower in his right hand.
GD is also wearing a heart ring that is blue (Seungri's color in BB) and the ring is called Victorian ring if you look it up - Seungri's name literally means Victory and his Japanesse stage name is VI - you can see VI (mirrored) next to GDs director chair.
Also to chairs once again - Daesung was sitting on it, but he didn't sit on the last one, cause he isn't maknae.
GDs umbrella (black from outside, rainbow from inside) - GD once painted Ri with bright colors and then hid it under black, literally saying "you are behind this black".
Daesung watching someone while singing "For the day, the moment that will come again someday (for you)" - which also indicates it's reffering to Seungri.
And the line GD sings at the end of his first verse - 마침내 마치 넷이 못내 that YG translated as "finally the 4 at last" is incorrectly translated (according to Koreans) because 못내 is also the way to pronounce when a spacing is applied as 못 내, which literally means 'we can't do', 못 = can't, 내=comes from verd 내다, which a verb that indicates someone or something does a thing or a job with his/her/its capability. So the more accurate translation for that part would be "4 of us can't get through" or "4 of us can't do it anymore". So the conclusion VIPs came to was - it's goodbye until Seungri comes back.
Also the 5 lines at the end - 3 goes right way representing GD, YB and Dae who are still with YG and together and 2 goes left way representing TOP and Seungri who left YG and the group for now.
I just realized, when TOP said in his prestige interview, he is not in line with the band's direction anymore, I think he meant he doesn't want to do group stuff if Bigbang is gonna go on as four anymore. And I'm pretty sure all the members feel the same way. They might be planning to go in solos for a while, until maknae can return.

there is a theory where the last chair on the right (out of the 4) is broken, as a homage of Seungri, who left the group in 2019 due to a scandal. There is also a scene which shows their previous Made album, with the billboard and the word "Life" on it. They mention the feeling of missing someone in the lyrics "I keep remembering those glorious and loving days" which can also relate to how they miss him.

This is song is just meaningful. I've known bigbang for a long time now way before I became a kpop fan. I think not just VIP's know what they've been through but also the whole kpop industry. They've been in scandals and tough points in their careers and the lyrics of the song shows how they're going to move on, but also missing those happy times. It's like they're also saying our past may be full of heartache but we can also find happiness in them.
We'll know that BIGBANG is just Epic.. No group can ever replace them..!! ✨❤️

I'm going to throw out a crazy theory, it could be that GD has the director's chair with his name on it because from now on he will be a "producer" or "director" within YG, for example for new Treasure comebacks. Recently he was in a picture with Treasure members with the look of this MV (so it's recent), and so he becomes a new Teddy in YG.
It's just an intuitive guess, but I assume the director's chair simply means that G-Dragon provided the direction of the music video as he is deeply involved in his craft and has produced and written the music for BIGBANG ever since their debut. It's an emotional and tearful comeback for many fans, myself included, since so many of us have spent our teens and twenties growing up listening to BIGBANG, a group that has created great music since 15-16 years ago. A series of unfortunate events have stalled the long-awaited comeback, but I hope you too will be able to enjoy their upcoming (or past) music in whatever form that may be. That aside, thank you for teaching us about music video editing! It's so eye-opening and insightful.
P.S. Fun fact: Big Bang were the first to introduce light sticks, theirs designed by G-Dragon.

That represented him looking at younger himself.
Also in his lyrics he sings goodbye to his youth.
T.O.P is the only one out of the Earth, because he has already left YGEnt and he is the first one, who announced his plans from now on.
In his lyrics he is burying his past times, when he tried to take his life, that’s why he is wearing the mask throughout his section.
TaeYang and his ship covered with flowers might represent that his journey had finished, that he has already reach the destination. I assume this because he is married and has a child, so he might focus on family from now on/for a while.
G-Dragon as a director means he is the leader and he has been leading that group the whole time.
As the salm says, they have been through something (that’s why G-Dragon’s scene have signs saying: “wrong way” etc or DaeSung have a badge with “I am a mess”) and now they are thanking God/fans for their help and understanding.
And for the end, and this is just my pure guess, their hairstyle reflect their season.
TaeYang has longer hair but not that much long as it is started to grow as sprouts in spring.
G-Dragon has the longest hair with many colours as colourful summer.
DaeSung has pure brown with curls at the end as falling leaves.
T.O.P has white foundation with aurora-like purple, which reminds me of a winter.
I actually didn't notice until now that the GD Director's Chair shot had one chair but four spotlights. The symbolism (to me) is that the other group members might be choosing to step away from the spotlight of BIGBANG to focus on their own activities (parenthood, other promotions, etc.), but GD, being the massive influence in Korean culture, as well as the driving force behind BIGBANG's music, must continue on as a public figure, and be the public carrier of the legacy of BIGBANG.
Just an interruption, Spring set symbolized Young-bae's current life where he is a father and a husband. GD is summer he has a lot of creative projects to share
(fashion and etc) and GD is mostly the writer and producer of their song (all of them are so talented). I think this is the reason why he has the director chair and the lightstick :D and G-dragon designed it :D they are the 1st k-pop group to come up with it. Daesung is in Autumn still moving on and figuring out what to do next. and Top is in winter he is the most unique person in the group and he has ideas that are out of this world he was one of the top Art influence actually.

That particular yellow flower in Korea means Victory and honor. Obviously Seungri is missing and Seungri means Victory in Korean but it also represents the fans in which to Big Bang we have brought them and they brought us Honor, and it looks like our light sticks that’s a plus

my personal theory is that, analyzing the frame, some of the last shots where no human or movements are more likely, each of them moving on from their position. like moving on, or moving forward. the empty 4 chair where daesung was, the empty director chair+stage is where gd was, empty space is where top was, and empty boat with yellow flower is where taeyang was. it can means that 'seasons' are moving and going, which means growth,and they move from their season's representative. also can means literally, like they moving forward from where they have been before. either leaving idol industry, or leaving group, or focusing on more solo, or retiring, or just moving from their youth era and back as a 'men' (?).
